Goulds Cottage, ein restauriertes Convict Built Cottage, wurde ursprünglich um 1850 errichtet. Das Gould's Cottage liegt nur wenige Minuten vom Zentrum von Hobart, Salamanca und der Uferpromenade sowie nur 250 m von der Old Cascade Brewery und den Cascade Gardens entfernt.

Mit einer fantastischen Aussicht auf den Mount Wellington liegt das Gould's Cottage nur eine kurze Fahrt von den vielen Buschwanderungen im gesamten Wellington Park entfernt. Ein weiteres Highlight, nur 50 m vom Cottage entfernt, ist die Convict Female Factory und der Hobart Rivulet Walk, der sich durch South Hobart bis in die Innenstadt schlängelt.

Cottage was beautiful, very nicely done up. Had to park in the carpark a few metres down the road but was not an issue at all. Very clean and welcoming. Would visit again.

Cottage on Cascade Road

This is a lovely cottage and was filled with fresh flowers. All the essentials are on offer, i.e. washing machine, good size kitchen, ensuite and bathroom, lounge and dining table and a lovely lamp. Our stay in this cottage made our holiday very enjoyable and relaxing! Very convenient location.

Thank you for your comments and rating of our cottage. Sorry to hear that you found it cold on your last night! Had I known that the heater was not adequate, I could have brought you two heaters stored 2 minutes away! It was a very unusual few days in Tasmania 40 degrees and bushfires + in NSW and17 degrees and rain in Tasmania! We have recently renovated the cottage and have ordered a Heat Pump to be installed as soon as it arrives in stock, that should make the cottage really cosy. Once again, I am sorry we did not get the chance to rectify this complaint while you were visiting. Regards Anne

Cozy Cottage

Lovely cozy cottage. The hosts added some lovely decorative touches for our Christmas stay. Unfortunately we were hit with lots of flies due to there not being any Flyscreens on the windows. Some better quality pillows and fresher towels (ours smelled stale like mildew) would have been expected for the price we paid. A little overpriced for the lack of luxury provided. The place could do with a thorough clean to ge5 rid of all the cobwebs. Overall a lovely place to stay. Would bring our own pillows and towels if we stayed again.

Thank you for staying at the cottage over Christmas. Glad you enjoyed all the Christmas decorations, flowers and chocolates. I am not sure why flies got into the house as there is an air conditioner in the cottage, so really, no need to open all the windows. I will check out your other comments in a day or so. I do not think approx $80.00 per person per night is in the "luxury" range, what we offer is a very S. Hobart historic cottage with modern interiors., two bedrooms/two bathrooms , full kitchen, washing facilities, large TV, free WIFI and courtyard with outside seating Cheers Anne

Delightful Cottage in Great location

We have always loved staying in South Hobart and although this cottage is located on a street that can be busy at times, the noise wasn't an issue. We found the cottage very comfortable and cosy and lots of space to spread out. The kitchen was very well equipped as was the rest of the accommodation. Thanks to Anne for our special goodies left in the cupboard, Really enjoyed being able to have a bath. Only criticism is we felt the front of the house was in need of a good vacuum as there was a lot of hair on the mat and it felt very grubby. We are sorry to make a negative comment regarding this delightful cottage but that is how we felt.

Hobart stay

The property was ok for what we required. There was only two of us. Jo car park was I pain as we had to park 80 metreaway and carry our gear. The house was nice and clean. Enough room. The place was very cold. Has heat pump not big enough for the icebox. Couple fans pushing the heat down would be beneficial. Enjoyed stay other wise. Centrally located in town. Thanks
