Beautiful serene setting with a Tuscan feel and surrounded by national forest

Margaret and Roberts place was warm and comfortable with everything we needed. Private and relaxed and also away from the busy hustle and bustle of Daylesford but not too far away. We would definitely return.

Breath taking stay

Beautiful estate. Magical views. Villa ticked all boxes, well equipped, cosy, clean. Wine tasting was an added bonus. Lovely walk to the falls. Will be back for sure. Great hosts.

Overnight stay.

We enjoyed the Tuscan feel of the property and loved the cosy log fire at night. Sadly we did not get to meet Margaret but Robert showed us around in her place. Guests staying longer would have time to enjoy the spa bath or get the Pizza oven fired up. We didn’t have time explore any of the walking trails on this visit as it was mainly to catch up with family.

Wonderful Daylesford get away

This was our second visit to Daylesford so we wanted to stay somewhere abit different. I really loved the villa with the wood fire and amazing spa bath. Margaret was a fantastic host and her communication was great. We had everything we needed and especially loved the walk round to the waterfalls. It was such an amazing and peaceful setting for us and nice not to be in town but close enough to it. I highly recommend this stay for a couple or family or group of friends or even two families. This place ticks all the boxes. And we will be coming back and recommending to otherwise. For abit of fun in the area we also highly recommend the quad bike tours.

Lovely stay

The property was gorgeous and in perfect location, only a short drive to Daylesford town centre. Check-in process was smooth and Margaret was great to deal with. Highly recommend!

Perfect location

Great location, clean and tidy villa. The listing stated 2 bedrooms but the price is only for one so if you need the second bedroom you must let them know earlier and pay more for the bed to be made up. Found this a bit confusing as it is booked as a 2 bedroom villa and ideally wanted 2 separate bedrooms. Before arriving they will call you to find out exactly what you are staying for, what you are doing and at what time, so if you are a private person, be mindful of the call that will come ahead of check in. Overall very happy with the place and location and would recommend again.

Clean, well maintained and quiet getaway

Margaret was very personable and easy to communicate with. The property was inviting, warm and in a beautiful peaceful setting. Likely to return!

they promised complimentary wine which they didn't deliver, it could be improved in terms of furniture. overall it was good.

Our location is well documented on our website. We tried several times to give them a choice of wines from our cellar door..On a very busy day we gave the husband a full personalized wine tasting. He said he would confer with his wife about their choice . She never made the 15 metre trip to the cellar door to choose. We strongly resent the message here that somehow we tricked them... The facts are we promised wine and they simply did not tell us what they wanted. We never state that we are located in Daylesford. In retrospect we would like to review our over generous rating..

Great relaxing stay

A wonderful property, 5 minutes out of Daylesford. Beautiful bush walk at the back of the property. Would definitely stay again.

Our property welcomes families such as this and provides 20 acres of vineyard and forest for them to explore. This includes a beautiful waterfall picnic area just up the road connected to the Gold Fields track The self contained villa is spacious and comfortable and just 5 minutes from the popular town of Daylesford
