Wonderful relaxing vacation

You can tell that the owners genuinely care about their home. It's centrally located and a short drive to grocery stores, and a short walk to the beach. We loved it and will definitely be returning.

July 4th Week Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay here! Very conveniently located to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc. The home was clean and fully stocked with all necessities, plus some. Beds were very comfortable and the layout was perfect for families traveling with children. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back again this year! The owners were very communicative and super nice.

This was one of the best places I have ever rented. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable and lots of fun games in the cabinets. All the beach stuff was provided which was awesome. Its a short 5 minute walk to the beach access. I hope to be able to rent it again!

Great place for a beach get away

The house was as described. In great conditions and clean. Everything worked without a problem and there were plenty of amenities to keep us occupied while not at the beach. Love the kitchen layout into the dining and living area. Just about a quarter mile to the beach which was also great. Thanks again!

What a great rental property. Clean, well stocked, great location, very spacious, and owner Jim is an absolute pleasure to rent from. We had two families total of 7 and had the best time. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location as it takes only 2 minutes to be to the beach.

Location is great and the environment is also quiet. The house itself is very comfortable and clean. It would be perfect if the beds were of larger size. We enjoyed out stay.

Fantastic! We were so comfortable in the townhouse. Easy check in. Short walk to beach. We walked to the boardwalk and several restaurants. It was so nice not to have to worry about parking. The beach wagon was perfect for taking our stuff to the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed and extra supplies! Highly recommend this townhouse.THANK YOU!

Great stay!

We had a great stay at Jim’s beach house. Jim was very responsive to all my questions before the trip. The house was large and the perfect amount of space for my family (6 adults & 2 children). The house was clean and within walking distance to the beach. They have an outdoor shower which was helpful when getting back from the beach and being able to wash the sand off. We would definitely book this home again for our future beach trips!

Beautiful beach house

Very spacious and beautiful beach house! It came fully stocked with everything we needed except for linens and towels, but that wasn’t a big deal at all! It was a great stay and the host was super responsive and gave us all the details we needed both before and during our stay. The house was very clean and had all the cleaning supplies we could ever need as well!! The walk to the beach took us a little bit longer since we had kids, but it was only about a 5 min walk to the beach! We would definitely stay here again!

Overall this was a very nice house to rent. Everything was as was described. The owner was also very responsive to a slight issue we had. The only real problem that we experienced was the trash from the previous parties that rented the house had not been picked up and the smell was horrible for days if the wind was blowing right. Also we were unsure if the master bedroom upstairs shower had been cleaned as there was a used bar of soap left in it.

Wish I had known about the garbage problem when you checked in not when you checked out. We would have taken care of it ASAP just as we did as soon as we were aware of the problem. The cleaner was giving extra attention to the seat in the shower and missed the soap left in the shower. WE work hard to have a place where families can go and have an enjoyable. time. We are committed and dedicated to have a great place to vacation..

Property was just as listed with one fairly major miscommunication, no towels or bed linens are provided. My VRBO experience has always had linens and we didn’t see any written statements to the contrary. The owners had a linen svc provider the next day so it was corrected for us.

Beautiful Condo Near The Beach

The condo itself was beautiful. The dryer took a long time to dry clothes. Either the dryer exhaust needed cleaning or the flexible pipe needed to be uncurled for free access to blow outside. It seemed like only "basic" cleaning was done inside the condo before we arrived. We appreciated the extra things like bicycles, toys , games, etc. and the neighborhood was very nice. Jim communicated with us promptly and was very patient to answer our questions.

Great with some hiccups!

First off, you can’t beat the location. Even with 5 kids 11 and under, it was still a very short walk to and from the beach. The house is spacious and gave everyone enough room to spread out and use multiple bathrooms at once, huge plus. Our biggest gripes were: 1. The location of the 4th bedroom is a little inconvenient since it’s off the garage and you have to walk through the garage to get into it. Especially if you plan on little ones staying there. 2. The mattress in the master bedroom is very uncomfortable. Kind of a bummer after a nice beach day to lie in the bed. 3. The kitchen was not as well stocked as other VRBOs we’ve stayed at i.e. different sized plates and bowls for kiddos, basic condiments for cooking, menus and local restaurant listings.

Beatrice Thanks so much for your review.. Looked like you have a fine family when I stopped by as you were leaving.We have never has a guess make any comments on matress. Our daughter stays in that bedroom and said we need to replace when I contacted her to share your concern . WE will buy a new matress Monday , two days from now . When we were down yesterday we restocked all the plastic silverware and paper plates and bowels. We do have smaller bowels. they have disappeared We do have a a Keurig coffee maker with 15 plus flavors. WE have also. Carolina Beach has an app that has restaurants and things to do. I will start mentioning it in the future. Again thank you for your comments so we know what we need to work on. The fourth bedroom is where my wife and I stay when we are at the beach. It is a nice large comfortable room with a private bath and a two year old large shower. I see how this might not work for you. with five relative small children.. It i nice big bedroom that does work in most situations. I do hope they got a chance to enjoy the beach toys and rafts. Hoping you had great trip home!
