Place seemed dirty.. no extra blankets, very little towels. Only 2 trash bags. I found what seemed like dirty blankets rolled up in a closet. I felt like the pillow cases weren’t even clean. The place is small. Beds are small. Feel like fulls not queens .. host was responsive and kind. This cabin is cute and the backspace is great.

We had a great stay as the house provide everything we needed from kitchen items to games. We saw plenty of deer, were close to hiking trails, and we even saw a curious black bear. I would stay here again and again.

A wonderful slice of heaven

This home is well stocked amazing home. The kitchen is a dream and the outdoor space is top notch. I would definitely stay here again. The kitchen was a pleasure and to prepare meals in and I really have no complaints. This is the nicest property I have stayed in on Beech Mountain.

Fabulous rental

This is our 3rd stay here and it's definitely one of favorite destinations. The house is wonderful - super clean and very well appointed. The outdoor fireplace is such a huge bonus. Even the couches are super comfortable which is unusual for a rental. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the professional grade range and oven is fantastic.

Perfect stay!!

Only a short drive to Beech Mountain for a day of skiing!! This home had everything and more to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. Any gourmet cook, or just making pancakes is more enjoyable with the Wolf ovens and griddle! Nicely stocked kitchen with everything we needed!! Highly recommend & would stay again!! Thanks to our very communicative host and definitely appreciate the flexibility!!

Great getaway

We absolutely loved the cabin. The home owners were a pleasure to communicate with and the cabin was absolutely beautiful. The lot is huge with a great indoor/outdoor living area. We utilized the outdoor fireplace and the appliances were fantastic and the kitchen was well stocked. We've stayed a lot of places in the Boone/Beech area and this was without question our favorite. We look forward to staying here again. Thanks for sharing your mountain home with us!

Loved our stay close to Beech Mountain skiing

Clean, great layout, well-stocked home. We had a great stay for the long Presidents’ Day weekend. It snowed the night we got there so we woke up to a very icy driveway and thankfully ice melt/salt was on the porch to help get out. Was very pretty to see the snow though! Great stay! We knew skiing would be packed for the holiday weekend and it was. Next time we would rent our ski gear from a place outside of the resort.

Great home to stay for ski vacation. Everything as advertised. Only recommendation would be some extra “winter weather provisions” that we assumed might be there (toilet paper, trash bags). Could not get out to store for couple of days. Thank you for the use of your home.

We loved this house. It was very clean (even the baseboards were clean) and had everything we needed! I brought stuff for the kitchen and did not even use it. It was cold and raining so we did not get to use the outdoor fireplace but we will be back to use it. The porch was nice on our first night there! So very nice! We will be back!

Great kitchen and wonderful selection of kitchen tools. Nice areas where you can sit outside. The outside porch with the pull down sides was handy for us in the cooler weather. We did not use the fireplace area, which looks delightful, because there were too many leaves down and the area surrounding was just too dry to risk an outdoor fire. At another time it would have been fabulous.

Ceiling fans in the home didn’t work accordingly, microwave stopped working and would not heat up food. Master ceiling doesn’t work, children ceiling fan on worked when lights was on in one room. Owners was nice but was unable to assist with these items. Overall a good stay would probably reach out to owners before booking another property for family vacation.

Best getaway place

what a wonderful home up in Beech Mountain. We took the weekend to go hang out and relax. This house is fabulous. It’s got a wonderful Fireplace area that even in July we could use. It’s minutes from all kinds of fun. The house is furnished great. we cooked in a couple of nights and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to cook meals. The bathtub in the master is great after a long day of hiking or river tubing. I would highly recommend this place anytime of the year. I’ve been there before in the winter for skiing and never thought it would be any better than it was. But it was just as fun in the summer. The hosts Donna and Mike couldn’t be any more nice and accommodating. They’re always quick to answer if you have any questions or If you need anything, they will make sure you get it. Fantastic home with beautiful furnishings

We just finished our stay at this gorgeous home and loved it! The extra bonus room in the back is sooo nice and even has a little heater. They have a wonderful clean sitting area there as well as a large sitting area by the outside fireplace with 2 propane heaters, a large gated yard to explore, and 4 rocking chairs on the front to enjoy the winter view of Beech mtn ski area in the distance. We loved using the huge Wolf gas range (has both a griddle and a grill in addition to 4 burners) with very well stocked kitchen cabinets of dishes, cooking pans, baking pans, and measuring cups. The gas fireplace worked great and helped warm the main room quickly. The beds were comfortable and there was a tv for every room with Spectrum cable, except 1 bedroom with just a tv for gaming. More towels and washcloths would have been nice but the front loading washer /dryer were easy to use. The Jack and Jill bath/shower nozzle couldn’t maintain a moderate temp. Note: the driveway was very steep. Our Sienna Fwd minivan handled it great but other cars might not be able to go up it It’s flat where you park on the right. The owners were very responsive and helpful! The home was very clean and very well maintained! We hope to return soon!

This property is absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful decor and Christmas decorations ! Beautiful kitchen with everything you need. Loved the outdoor fireplace. Hope to visit again!

Absolutely amazing

The. house is in the most perfect, central location. You're 5 minutes from the top of Beech Mountain with restaurants, Fred's, etc and roughly 25 minutes from beautiful surrounding towns for exploring. The house itself is a dream - it is absolutely spotless, beautifully decorated (was even decorated for Christmas with a tree), well manicured and a perfect cooks kitchen. We will continue to stay in this house for our family vacation as long as we're able!
