Die Rabbiter's Hut ist ein schlichtes und unprätentiös restauriertes Landhaus, das aus modernem Wellblech und Materialien aus Australien besteht.

Die Rabbiter's Hut liegt eine Autostunde von Adelaide entfernt auf dem malerischen Grundstück Tinline Park in den Eastern Ranges der Adelaide Hills.

Die Gäste können sich entspannen und das Landleben erleben, indem sie sich auf der Veranda oder am Feuer mit dem perfekten Glas Shiraz und einem guten Buch entspannen.

Der einzigartige Rabbiter's Shed bietet den perfekten Unterhaltungsbereich, in dem man einen guten, langsam gekochten Lammbraten vom Fahrerlager bis zum Teller probieren kann. Ein langes Mittagessen auf dem handgefertigten roten Kaugummitisch der Unterkunft zu verbringen, ist die perfekte Möglichkeit, Zeit mit Freunden oder der Familie zu verbringen.

Gourmet-Frühstück bestehend aus Speck vom örtlichen Metzger, frischen Eiern vom Bauernhof, hausgemachtem Brot, hausgemachtem Müsli, Gewürzen, Tee, Kaffee und Milch wird für 2 Nächte und mehr angeboten.

Kontinentales Frühstück für 1 Nacht.

Wonderful getaway in the Adelaide Hills

My family had a lovely time at Rabbiters Hut. Our host Annette greeted us with fresh bread with bacon and eggs for our breakfasts, and came by before we checked out to make sure we had enjoyed our stay. The three bedroom house is lovely and peaceful. We explored the local area and visited Monarto Zoo which isn’t far away, well worth the visit.

The Rabbiters Hut is a wonderful remote cabin with all the mod cons you could want. The hosts were very accomodating and lamb dinner was delicious. Unfortunately we couldn’t have the bonfire due to extremely dry conditions.

Fantastic - wish we had longer!

After a long day of travelling from KI via the Barossa, the Rabbiters Hut was perfect for our party of 6. Our host welcomed us on arrival with freshly cooked bread. Amazing stay in natural surrounds

Lovely place, with gorgeous hosts. Annette and Bill went above and beyond, treating our ten and twelve year old kids to a tractor ride and lamb feeding. Annette helped our kids make damper, and they set up a beautiful bonfire for our last night. We could easily have spent longer! A fantastic getaway from the city - can’t speak highly enough of the cosy comfort of homemade bread, fresh eggs, wood fired combustion heater and beautiful surrounds. Thankyou so much.

Perfect get-away-from-it all retreat

We booked the Rabbiter's Hut because we desperately needed a few days of peace, quiet and escape from suburbia. And our needs were completely fulfilled. From the first morning, waking up to a gorgeous pastoral view from the bedroom window with a kangaroo hopping past (brilliantly on cue!) the whole weekend was a delight. The place is beautifully decorated, well equipped, very comfortable and has a lovely tranquil atmosphere. Annette was a charming, warm and generous hostess and went out of her way to make our stay a pleasant and memorable one. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay

We had a fabulous time at the Rabbiter's Hut. Annette and Bill were very welcoming and the personal touches like a homemade cake and freshly baked bread were very much welcome after a long day on the road, as was Annette popping down to light the fire for us in the evening. The hut is lovely with beautiful finishings and in a spectacular location. Annette went out of her way to help us find the highlights of the Hills and also to give my little girl a great farm experience. Bill and Annette Cameron are your hosts at Rabbiters Hut. Bill is a second generation owner of Tinline Park- the family property on which the Rabbiters Hut sits.
Bill and Annette are a grass-roots genuinely warm Australian couple, who will welcome you to their property and enjoy sharing with you a little taste of their family life and history of the farm.

Over the last 25 years Tinline Park has diversified its farming practices. It operations include running beef and prime lambs, but the primary focus is on wool production. Some cropping is undertaken mainly for farm use.

Bill and Annette's passion for sustainability has been evident in the appearance of the property, with improved vegetation over the years, in keeping with the community -based Tungkillo Landcare Group.

The partnership between Bill and Annette is based on the principle that they are only caretakers of the land and it is imperative that they create footprints and opportunities to leave the land better for the next generation.

The Rabbiter’s Hut was converted into an exclusive and luxurious 3-bedroom cottage, using typical Australian materials such as corrugated iron and red gum from the property.
