Thank you for your feedback and letting us know about the mouse problem. Unfortunately, rodents are a downfall of mountain homes, that is why we have mouse traps in the house. We will have the house checked by a professional.

We do apologize that your stay was not 100% to your expectation. Sadly, we have no record of your discussing nor attempting to contact the property manager during your stay by any means of communication. This is a rare (negative) review and has caught us by surprise given the most recent 20+ positive reviews received. Given that the location of the garage is located at the bottom/lower level of the home we have never advertised the availability of a garage at any time (especially in the winter/snow season). Additionally this being a mountain home that is located at 9,800’ above sea level in the National Forrest... sadly we deal constantly with mice, flies and all other types’ critters ALL year round the best we can. The issue you experienced with the cabinet/droppings is a rare incident from what we normally experience and we apologize. We have ordered an inspection of all the toilets as well as scheduled a follow up service call by our exterminator. We did have other guests check out of the home just before your arrival and none of the above concerns were referenced nor reported. Regardless we do hope that you will return to Crested Butte at any location to enjoy all that the ski area and town has to offer its visitors.

Kyle, we do want to apologize for the last minute need to provide/supply a back-up microwave oven for your stay, as we did experience a unexpected issue with the existing one just before your arrival. All other appliances have been checked and inspected and all are in fine working order at this time. All stainless steel appliances were replaced in 2017. Two other parties/guests have since visited the home since your stay with no comments or concerns reported. We do take exception to your comments about the deck and your perceived negligence on our part. The deck was newly built in 2017 and per city code and requirement… a structural engineer design and permit was mandated and required before the City would issue and approve the building permit. It passed with flying colors and continues to pass the city’s annual inspection permitting process to short term rent the home. This is the first negative comment or concern that we have received about our deck since it’s construction 4 years ago. The newly constructed deck and the view that it offers has always been a Top 1 or 2 positive comment about our home (to enjoy the view) by our guest. At any rate… we do hope you will return to Crested Butte at any location to enjoy all that the ski area and the town has to offer it’s visitors.
