Unser 3.000 Quadratmeter groƟes Penthouse befindet sich im dritten Stock des Ibis in der Beach-Wohnanlage. Dies ist eine 10-Einheiten-Boutique-Wohnung im Herzen von Tamarindo Preserve. Es befindet sich 40 Meter vom Langosta Beach Club entfernt, in dem Sie wƤhrend Ihres Aufenthalts die vollen Mitgliedschaftsrechte haben. Der Club befindet sich am schƶnsten Strand der Gegend und verfĆ¼gt Ć¼ber einen Infinity-Pool mit Blick auf den warmen Pazifik, ein voll ausgestattetes Fitnessstudio, einen Fitness- und Behandlungsbereich, private Cabanas, ein tropisches franzƶsisches Restaurant, einen Pool und eine Ocean Side Bar.

Das Haus ist eine Studie in Exzellenz und Liebe zum Detail. Sie werden sofort von den Travertin-Kalksteinbƶden und den gewƶlbten Decken aus massivem Teakholz begeistert sein. Das Wrap-Around-Deck ist Ć¼ber 4 Sļæ½ļæ½tze von TaschentĆ¼ren zugƤnglich, die den gleichen Boden und die gleiche Decke wie das Innere haben. Casablanca-Fans kƶnnen sich auf dem Deck wohlfĆ¼hlen und das ganze Jahr Ć¼ber den Indoor- und Outdoor-Lifestyle der GoldkĆ¼ste von Costa Rica genieƟen. Great quiet spot in Tamarindo

Space was perfect for our family and having the Langosta Beach Club across the street was a bonus. Shirt enough walk into downtown that we didn't really need the golf cart.

Great people and location

We loved this place! The beach club was a serious bonus. The staff at Ibis and Langosta beach club were wonderful and we left feeling like we made friends. We will be back for sure. You canā€™t beat the location just out of the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo but just walk onto the beach and find everything you need!

Ibis #9 Penthouse

Our stay at the Ibis #9 was great! Far enough away from the noise of the downtown area but close enough to walk. The Langosta Beach Club right across the street was perfect for drinks, swimming and watching sunsets at the end of our day. Most importantly, Rafa and Juan were awesome helping us with any request.

This penthouse is absolute luxury! You couldn't ask for a better location or "team" assigned to you when you rent this unit. The concierge and property management team take care of your every need including taking you to the grocery store! The beach club, located across the street and included with your stay, is amazing! The service, location, pool and beach are reminiscent to a 5 star luxury resort. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful penthouse!

We enjoyed our time in Ibis 9. The layout and pictures of the place were exactly as described. Rafe and Stefano were helpful and knowledgable of the area and made the excursions workout seamless. The walk into town is not far but the golf cart was a must for us to get around in for dinners and groceries. We had 4 kids and 2 adults. Costa Rica is beautiful and the beach was amazing.

Awesome Penthouse!

We absolutely loved everything about this penthouse. Beautifully decorated, very clean, excellent staff and location can't be beat. If you're coming to Costa Rica to surf and enjoy all this beautiful country has to offer, then this is the place to stay. Very convenient to other places to explore if you want, but Tamarindo has a lot to offer. Concierge desk for penthouse can also advise of best tours. We followed all their recommendations for deep sea fishing, sunset catamaran tours and restaurants and every one of them was perfect! We hope to come back one day and definitely would stay here again.

Family week in Tamarindo

My family of 5 spent 8 days at Ibis 9 condo. From the moment we opened the door se weā€™re impressed withe the condo furnishings. The pictures accurately showed the interior, and the security persons and concierge were extremely helpful and kind. They provided many helpful suggestions to make the stay pleasant and fun. We purchased excursions for scuba, snorkeling, zip line, whitewater rafting, deep sea fishing, ATV, and inland fishing. All coordinated through the concierge, Rafa. They were all excellent with friendly, helpful, high quality service.

By far, the best VRBO we have ever rented from. Rafa was amazing with communication on the check in and out process and all of the activities close by. And I can not say enough about the security team and the club staff. We had a flat tire that would not come off of the hub. And they all worked on it until they got it off and the tire switched out. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic Unit and very helpful manager

We stayed in this unit in mid-July for several days. It was very nice, clean, and matched the description on VRBO. Being right across from the Beach Club was a perfect way to enjoy the beach and a pool. The unit was amazing Bob who is the property manager is great to deal with on the rental. Additionally he was a great help on ideas/reservations for several activities, dining suggestions, etc., but it never felt like he was selling us something. We looked around at other units while on our trip and definitely would chose this unit again for future trips. Have fun if you go!

Vacation Get-Away

We decided last year to look at Costa Rica because we had heard what a beautiful place it is. We narrowed our decision to the Tamarindo area and we were lucky enough to land the IBIS #9 condo. It was a perfect fit for us, 3 separate bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The family area was a wonderful place for us to relax and to play games. The condo is right across the street from the Clubhouse and we were able to go anywhere we wanted without having to have a car. This was a fantastic vacation and was made perfect by Stefano and the crew taking care of our every need. I would highly recommend this condo to those looking for the ultimate get-away.

Fantastic Vacation Rental

My friends and I went on vacation together and we found this condo on HomeAway and absolutely loved it! What you see in the pictures is what you get - it is so gorgeous and roomy. The bedrooms are large and each one has its own bathroom plus theres a half bath off of the kitchen. The main balcony is where we were most of the time when we were in the condo. The master bedroom and the 2nd bedroom each have a balcony and in the morning we'd drink coffee looking out over the trees. You can hear the monkeys every morning!! The staff at the condo are very helpful. We used them to book tours, get us cabs, and to find out information about happenings and places to go in town. The beach club across the street is fabulous!! The infinity pool is gorgeous, the cabanas are a wonderful place to relax and read and maybe have a cocktail or two, the beach area is beautiful and the view is gorgeous. The service is wonderful and the food is too! Can't say enough great things about our stay! If we go back, we will definitely stay here and we recommend to everyone!

Beyond expectations!!

I will admit that staying in a condo without any other travelers reviews concerned me slightly...but what my friends and I found when we walked into this condo was beyond what we could have ever expected. Veronica and Bob pay attention to every tiny detail in this complex...from flower petals and swan towels arranged in our bedrooms/bathrooms to having our very dusty and dirty car cleaned while we were out to dinner. The pool, overlooking a gorgeous beach, was quiet/relaxing. The waitstaff in the pool area was friendly and provided incredible service (and yummy drinks). My favorite part of staying in the condo was being able to wake up, walk outside and see 15+ howler monkeys and their very tiny babies swinging from the trees outside. Although my friends and I looked forward to visiting local bars in Tamarindo, this condo was actually so nice that my friends and I spent more time relaxing (and napping) on the porch with drinks than we did out at the local bars. Thank you Bob and Veronica for being fabulous hosts and letting us stay in this beautiful condo! Can't wait to visit again.

Great place for first time in Costa Rica

We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the unit as the pictures do not adequately portray the well-appointed penthouse. Travertine and granite abound as well as teak everywhere including the extremely tall ceilings -- 3,000 square feet of room to roam for just the two of us. The onsite property manager is extremely accommodating and made suggestions for restaurants and activities which all turned out to be very, very good. He actually made all the arrangements for us even taking us to the grocery store and on a tour of the area the day we arrived. The day trip he arranged for us to Arenal volcano was nothing short of awesome, and the zip lining tour could not have been better. One of the reasons we selected this unit in Ibis was that it included use of the Langosta Beach Club just across the street. We were able to reserve a cabana each day, have drinks and snacks delivered to us beach (amazing white sand and surf) and poolside (infinity style facing the beach), and enjoy several excellent dinners (one of the best restaurants in Tamarindo/Langosta). Ibis lies on the north end of Langosta just a short walk to the town of Tamarindo which is extremely laid back loaded with great food, bars, beaches, etc. If our travels take us back to Costa Rica we would definitely try to stay here again. In fact, we are talking about a family 2014 Christmas trip here given the very pleasant time we had.

Beautiful condo, great location

This condo met all our needs and more. The unit was very clean, organized, and well decorated. Each bedroom has its own bathroom plus an extra half bath which is a bonus. We liked to eat breakfast home and the kitchen had all the essentials for cooking. The wrap-around porch was amazing with a great table and seats for plenty of lounging. The staff at Ibis could not have been more helpful. From setting up the rental to airport transportation and excursion planning, everyone was wonderful. There is always someone at the front gate which is great and he even called taxis for us when it was raining. The cleaning staff was professional and did a great job, as well as the staff at the front desk who helped us plan tours and even took us to the grocery store one afternoon! When the weather was nice, we choose to walk the quick 7 minutes into town. Ibis is such a great location. You are literally across the street from the beach and a quick walk into town. The beach club across the street (access is included with the rental) was also amazing. We took a work out class there one morning and used the beach facilities almost everyday. One afternoon it was raining so we watched one of the football games at the tiki bar there and had a great time. This condo is beautiful, has a ton of amenities, best location, and I would highly recommend it! It is definitely my first choice when staying in Tamarindo!

Luxury condominium

We stayed at this lovely condominium the last week of July with our 4 adult children. The unit was well-appointed, beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was well equipped. Only a short walk from Tamarindo, and adjacent to the Tamarindo nature preserve, the building is quiet and feels secluded. One of the best features was access to the Langosta beach club across the street, which was the perfect beach retreat, complete with pool, restaurant, bar, plus beach gear and lessons. Our family wanted a vacation where they could relax and enjoy a beach vacation, so it was important to us to have the beach club amenity. Two restaurants we recommend are ether Shrimp Hole and Seasons. Both featured fresh, fresh seafood! The concierge contacted us when we booked our week and sent us a comprehensive list of activities to help us plan our trip, which was a nice touch. Once we arrived, they took care of our needs promptly. We had some issues with appliances that were not working, but Bob, the property manager took care of our concerns as soon as we called. He went above the call of duty when our daughter had an issue with her eye and needed to see a doctor. He sent his wife, Veronica, who took her to a clinic, stayed to translate for her and then went to a pharmacy to pick up medicine. They were all very caring, which we really appreciated. We recommend this property and hope we can return someday.

Great place, terrible onsite manager experience

My three stars is really a merge of 5 stars for a great place and 1 star for an poor set of experiences with an onsite manager named Rafa. Iā€™ve shared my feedback with the owners but want anyone renting this spot to also be aware. Problems included: + overcharging for excursions (make sure you book things like ATVs and other side trips direct. The property manager Rafa takes a large margin, as much as 2x). + not communicating with us despite repeated attempts (then saying, ā€œoh I was too busyā€) + not being available onsite to help us (then being seen hanging out in the parking lot and in town talking casually with people) + failing to help us secure a refund for a dysfunctional golf cart we rented through him (I had to eventually go to the owner of the golf cart rental service myself) + failing to return an item we left in the safe despite promising to do so (I eventually had to go over his head). Note: the rest of the team at Ibis, including security and cleaning and parking are wonderful. I recommend them highly. Ibis owners: I encourage you to take corrective action if Rafa is still with you. He is doing your rental property and the Ibis community a disservice.

Beautiful Luxurious Penthouse in an Excellent Location

Thank you very much for a wonderful stay. The Penthouse was extremely clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped. The beds were comfortable with nice linens. It was perfect for our family of 6. The Penthouse belongs to the Langosta Beach Club, conveniently right across the street. We used the pool and had some drinks. At the end of our stay, we settled our tab at the club house. Although there were a few items on the bill that we did not have, the manager promptly removed them and apologized. The Penthouse was about a 7 minute walk into town. We walked to town for dinner or lunch and sometimes took a cab back ($6). When the tide was low, we could walk along the beach to town which was wonderful. The beach is across the street from the Penthouse. It was perfect. The beach is beautiful and great for looking for shells. We also had access to boogy boards which the kids loved. Karla, at the front desk, was amazing. She immediately took us to the grocery store upon arrival. This was very helpful. Karla also did a fantastic job directing us to the best tours. She coordinated everything and even negotiated some rates for us! Thank you. Overall, Bob and Karla made us feel welcome and really strived to make us happy and comfortable. We felt like the penthouse was luxurious and the location could not have been better. I would highly recommend this property!

Family Vacation in Costa Rica

My family just returned from a beautiful 10 day stay in Tamarindo Costa Rica. We booked Ibis #9 based on the gorgeous photos and wonderful reviews. The manager and staff and the condo are nothing short of amazing. Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating to any request we might have had. Juan helped us arrange our transportation to and from the airport as well as book many tours for us. In addition he took my husband into town for grocery shopping and even picked us up a few things prior to our arrival since came in late with children on the first evening. The photos are exact and the condo and balcony area look just like them. Beautiful kitchen, lounging area and plenty of space for our family of 4. For me, sleeping was a little difficult, I think construction in Costa Rica is different than the states and you definitely hear the birds through the building in the morning. We aren't late sleepers anyway but we definitely rose with the sun here. We had a few issues with the secondary toilet during our stay so we opted to just not use it anymore. The condo is stocked with everything you will need to cook all the meals you can think of but we opted to hand wash all our dishes as the dishwasher just never seem to get anything clean. All minor items. The proximity to town is perfect! We walk everywhere and loved every second of being able to explore the area. The beach club across the street is a HUGE asset and perfect for lounging by the pool or an active day on the beach. The location could not be better!
