Unsere Luxuswohnung befindet sich in einem exklusiven, kleinen, geschlossenen Gebäude mit nur zehn Wohneinheiten auf drei Etagen. Auf der anderen Straßenseite vom weltberühmten Tamarindo Beach und dem Langosta Beach Club befindet sich unser Haus im 600 Hektar großen Naturschutzgebiet und der Mündung des Tamarindo. Brüllaffen sind sowohl in der Wohnung als auch im Beach Club zu hören und oft zu sehen. Der Pazifik ist nur eine Minute zu Fuß von der Haustür entfernt.

Unser 1500 Quadratmeter großes Haus bietet das Beste von allem, einschließlich zentraler Luft, Teakholzdecken und Holzarbeiten im gesamten Gebäude, Travertin-Kalksteinböden, maßgefertigten costaricanischen Möbeln, Granit-Arbeitsplatten, eingebautem Lautsprechersystem in der gesamten Wohnung, um Ihren iPod oder andere Unterhaltung zu genießen, Bosch Küchengeräte , Williams-Sonoma Küchengeschirr. Jedes Detail wurde bei der Raumnutzung und den Terminen berücksichtigt.

Der exklusive Club, nur 40 Meter entfernt, ist der einzige in der Gegend und befindet sich am schönsten und familienfreundlichsten Strand der Gegend. Es verfügt über ein voll ausgestattetes Fitnesscenter, ein Pilates- und Yoga-Studio, ein französisches Restaurant, eine großartige Bar mit spektakulärem Meerblick, einen großen Pool mit spanischen Glasfliesen und einen Infinity-Rand mit Blick auf den warmen Pazifik. Sie können am Pool, am Strand oder in privaten Cabanas entspannen. Stühle, Liegen und Sonnenschirme werden auf Anfrage am Strand aufgestellt. Am Pool stehen Ihnen Duschen zur Verfügung.

Tamarindo ist seit langem ein Surfziel und ein Zentrum des Ökotourismus. Wir haben jetzt eine endlose Anzahl von Outdoor-Aktivitäten in einem Gebiet mit über 60 Restaurants. Sie können alles von der lokalen Küche bis hin zu wirklich feinen Gerichten genießen. Unser Haus ist 7-10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Dorfzentrum entfernt und Sie können bequem mehr als 40 der 60 lokalen Restaurants zu Fuß erreichen. Das Gebäude ist nah genug am Stadtzentrum, um sehr praktisch zu sein, aber weit genug entfernt, um den Lärm und die Überlastung zu vermeiden.

A Great Place to Relax

Our family of 5 (including a 4-yr old) stayed for 4 days. It was a perfect location with the Langosta Beach Club right across the street and the beach only a few steps further. The condo was beautiful and comfortable. The staff were very friendly, especially Rafa, the manager. He made sure we had everything we needed, and he was always quick to respond.

Amazing

We really enjoyed our time at Ibis. We loved being so close to the pool. Also before we got our golf cart the walk in to town was very quick and easy. The staff was fantastic and really leveled up our stay. The condo was spacious and very clean. We loved that each room had its own little balcony and then a larger one of the living room. We were picked up right from the parking area for all of our excursions which was a bonus. Very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely return to this property again.

We love this property!

Luxurious and relaxing

Our family of 5 had a great time at this condo and at the beach club. Our boys went from the oool to the beach and we could relax in a cabana with great service and food. The condo had everything and was very comfortable and high end. We would recommend for familiies with children in a heartbeat. The beach is perfect for kids. Great surfing and the concierge service was extremely helpful and set up great excursions.

We really enjoyed the beach club membership - it was the perfect location on the beach! Condo was nice, only change I would say is better mattresses, and also we had some trouble with the air conditioning. They were very prompt on sending someone out to fix it.

Perfect location and amazing place!

From the moment we were greeted we felt at home! The condo is absolutely stunning and spacious and has everything that you need! A very short walk to town and all of the restaurants. The beach and pool just across the street are gorgeous and inviting! So many great things to say about this location! We had help from our very own concierge for everything we needed. At the time we had to have Covid tests to return to the US and that was arranged to be done right in the condo. Wonderful time and so much fun! We will definitely return!

Beautiful condo on second floor across the street from the beach club and ocean.

1st class location and property. The 2 concierges were always available and any issues or questions were swiftly met. Parking was adequate and the area was safe. Walking distance to anything in Taramindo. We had a small issue with sugar ants in the kitchen. Would recommend a professional exterminator to solve. Beds, Baths and living areas were perfect. Wifi was always available. Great Place.

Spring break trip with two teens

Ibis Condo was perfect for our family of four. Having amenities of a house was very beneficial for our week long stay. Access to the beach club across the street was super convenient! Especially on the windy days when the sand was blowing we could chill by the pool and have some delicious cocktails. They had everything we needed there towels, even cold towels at the hottest time of the day, excellent service and superb cocktails! Everyone across the board was extremely helpful. We had no issues at all on our travel. The only thing I’d say that may need a bit of attention would be the washing machine in the condo. It is a front loader and I think had been kept closed for a LONG time, it was musty and moldy, it definitely needs a good deep cleaning and for a note to be left for the guests to keep it open so it dries out. Other than that, we would love to return. It was a Gorgeous place overall.

Great location in Tamarindo

We thoroughly enjoyed an early April week at IBIS #8. Booking was seamless, and Rafa organized our shuttles to and from the airport. The Langosta Beach Club across the street was fantastic, a great base camp for our family of four all week. We rented surf boards most days and found the waves just south of the club less crowded than the north end near Witch's Rock. The condo itself was clean and well appointed. We spent many morning hours on the shaded porch. One note: between the cars on the street, neighborhood howler monkeys, and the early rising sun, we were up early every morning with the locals! Not really an issue for us, but there is some street noise and neighbor noise. Also recommend renting one of the street legal golf carts from Pura Vida. We used it many times every day to ride into town to surf or for dinner. Tamarindo is a great town -- more touristy than Nosara or other towns north, but we had a blast and look forward to returning!

Great destination and rental option!

The condo worked out very well for our family - plenty of room for my husband and I and our 2 teenage daughters. Staff helpful and accommodating. They could set up transfers to/from airport, activities, recommendations for dinner, etc. Our driver stopped at a grocery store on the way from the airport and we stocked up for the week. Tamarindo is a great destination. Lots of restaurants, very casual and friendly, great surf, gorgeous sunsets. Condo is about a 5-10 min walk to the town. We usually walked the beach vs the road. You have access to Longosta Beach Club that is across the street. It is a nice club with pool and cabanas, restaurant and bar, but it is very popular for weddings so at least 4-5 of the days we were there, they were either setting up or tearing down for a wedding, so limited pool and bar access. Another caution is that it is on a gravel road, so we never sat on our patio, it was too dusty. Saying that though, we liked being out of the town and a little more secluded than the option of a condo right in town, further away from the beach.

Great Condo! Great Location and staff!

We stayed at this unit over the Christmas holidays. We loved everything about it. The unit itself was beautiful and very well equipped. The location is perfect! Directly across from Langosta Beach Club, which we enjoyed truly enjoyed. Also easy walking distance in to town, either by the road or via the beach. The location is also perfect for any excursions you may want to do. Bob and Veronica were great. We had a little trouble with our safe not opening, and they loaned us some cash (which we needed for an excursion) until we could get this issue with the safe resolved. They were also helpful in recommending dining options. Sebastian was very helpful in booking airport transfers and other excursions. Not that we ever felt the least bit uncomfortable, but there is no need to worry about security as there is always a security officer at the gate. We were lucky...when we were there Bob and Veronica hosted a Christmas eve party for the staff and guests, complete with traditional Costa Rican food, games and even fireworks. It was a great night. We absolutely loved this place and Costa Rica and would highly recommend it.

Our best C.R. vacation and stay!

Arriving at Ibis 8 we were met with a warm and friendly staff eager to help us. Bob with the assistance from Stephanos and Juanro, took care of transportation, recommendations and information that we needed. The condo was beautiful and the beds were comfortable. We especially enjoyed making our morning coffee in the modern spacious kitchen and taking it on the balcony to hear unusual birds and howler monkeys. We appreciated that it was equipped with a washer and dryer as well. A short distance across the street was the LaGosta Beach Club which is available to those staying at the condo. We reserved a cabana where we were by the pool and overlooking the beach. Delicious food and drinks were available for purchase if desired. (Try the Sea Bass - yum) Drink and food service was also available if you wanted to sit on the beach. The condo is conveniently located to shops and restaurants so we chose to walk to the various places we wanted to go. Day or night we were met by the security guard opening the gate for us and greeting us with "Buenoes Dias" or "Pura Veda" Time to leave - We had Juanro arrange for a shuttle to the airport. We were sad to leave this tropical oasis, can't wait for the next visit!

Above and Beyond

The condo was completely stunning with all top end appliances and very clean. The decor was absolutely beautiful and very spacious. Great bedrooms and coffee every morning on the spacious patio, catching a glimpse of the Costa Rican culture and beautiful wildlife around you, made for a perfect start to your day. If you are looking for a great place to get away ,this is the place. There was a warm welcome as soon as we arrived , making the long day of travel worth it, I instantly felt at home. One week was just simply not long enough for our beautiful stay here. Costa Rica has so much to offer, and being here in Tamarindo, you can do as little or as much as you want to do. This condos location made you feel like you were in the heart of it all. Close to town and some great restaurants. Just across the street was the Langosta Beach Club they really want your stay to be the best of the best.The service was amazing and they all were so friendly , making sure you taken care of. Along with the beach they also have a very clean pool that over looks the ocean, so you can have the best of both worlds. There food is amazing! If you are looking for a friendly, relaxing and welcoming place to vacation, look no further. Ibis 8 is the place to be. We look forward to our next vacation here!

Best Resort accoss the street from the Beach in Playa Langosta

The condo was beautiful and check in very easy. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. You are a 4 minute walk thru the Langosta Beach Club to a great beach. The beach is very good for easy surfing, body boarding and body surfing. While your staying there, you are get access to the Langosta Beach club. This means you can use their pool, cabanas and charge meals and drinks to an account. It is a very nice feature you will appreciate on hot days. The food and drinks are great, but a little expensive based the area. However it's very convenient and worth it. The main town, Tamarindo is a 10 minute walk we made numerous times. The town is quaint and aimed at visiting tourists. It's very casual with some areas being nice and others a little basic. But, hey, it's a beach town in Costa Rica and a fun adventure. There is always someone there at the condo's to answer questions and help you. Everyone is friendly and willing to help. The condo is on the 2nd floor and overlooks the little road to town. The unit is a corner unit and the balcony is roomy with very nice furniture overlooking the road and the small gravel parking lot. Being on the 2nd floor worked out fine, since the elevator didn't work, but no big deal. For the price, location and quality of the condo, this was a great deal. We would definitely go back.

Family getaway to Tamarindo

We stayed at Ibis #8 for 2 weeks, from Jan 4-18th. As other reviewers have pointed out, the unit itself is very well appointed with high-end appliances, sturdy furniture and all of the modern conveniences one would expect from an upscale condo. The condo itself does not have any amenities onsite (pool, gym, etc.) - these are located directly across the street at the Langosta Beach Club. Ibis guests have full access; the club is also features one of the nicer restaurants in the area. This is the quieter, more scenic section of Tamarindo beach, which may appeal to those seeking a slower pace. Sebastian (the concierge) was very friendly and approachable. He always greeted us with a warm smile and was great with our kids. Bob handled a few issues that came up and he took care of them promptly. The security/groundskeepers/housekeepers were all very friendly and helpful. One of them kindly fixed a broken strap on our luggage, which we really appreciated. The crew at the Langosta Beach Club were also very fun and energetic. Some might find the location a bit remote (you will need to drive or walk 5-7 mins to get to Tamarindo, down a busy dirt road with no sidewalks) but we liked the fact that it was quiet and relatively secluded. We were a bit disappointed with the dust and road noise that came from the adjacent Langosta Road. Apparently a paving project is imminent, so the dust issue may be addressed soon. Nevertheless, if you are a light sleeper, I would suggest looking for a unit facing the rear of the building, which faces the Tamarindo Preserve. The unit boasts comfy beds, a pull-out sofa sleeper, nice plumbing fixtures, tasteful decorating, modern appliances and three separate decks. The WiFi is not particularly strong - barely enough for Netflix, fine for e-mail and social networking. There is no VoIP line in the unit, so you will need to rely on mobile or Skype for making calls. Overall, this unit served us well and we were not disappointed. We would recommend it to others, seeking a quieter location in an small & modern building.
