Wir glauben, dass, sobald Sie sich entschlossen haben, unsere wunderschöne Insel als Ihr Urlaubsziel zu besuchen, diejenigen, die eine luxuriöse, saubere, mit Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattete Ferienwohnung suchen, "The Perfect Shell" wählen werden, um nach Hause zu kommen!

Sobald Sie sich eingelebt haben, können Sie versuchen, diese "perfekte Muschel" an unseren wunderschönen Stränden zu finden, wo North Captiva Island eine unglaubliche Fülle und Vielfalt an Muscheln für Menschen anbietet, die von unseren Muscheln aus der ganzen Welt angezogen werden.

Unser wunderschönes Poolhaus mit 2 Schlafzimmern, offenem, gefliestem, einstöckigem Grundriss, großem Flachbildfernseher im gesamten Gebäude, hervorragenden Betten, großer, abgeschirmter Veranda, riesiger überdachter Terrasse, schönem Garten und unserem NEUEN, übergroßen, mit Salzwasser beheizten Lagunenstil Pool mit vielen Sitzplätzen, ist sicher, Sie zu verführen! PLUS Die Innen- und Außenausstattung unserer Häuser ist entweder ganz neu oder ganz neu gekauft!

Wir befinden uns auf einem hohen und sehr trockenen Grundstück in der Nachbarschaft der Dünen und bieten einen großen Garten und einen großen Poolbereich, in dem zahlreiche Aktivitäten möglich sind. Wir sind ungefähr eine 30-Sekunden-Golfwagenfahrt oder ein Spaziergang direkt die Straße hinunter, kurz vor einem der breitesten und größten Sandstrände der Insel!

Wir bevorzugen es, samstags bis samstags zu buchen - mindestens 7 Nächte - es sei denn, wir haben Last-Minute-Verfügbarkeit. Wir freuen uns über Ihre Anfragen zu Terminen und eventuellen Fragen, damit Sie die perfekte Wahl für Ihren Urlaub treffen können! Great stay at The Perfect Shell

The Perfect Shell is a great house-perfect for our needs. It was very clean and well stocked and very comfortable. It feels bright and open and updated. The pool was a lifesaver with our kids when we had quite a bit of rain. The property owners are super responsive and helpful and the check in/out and grocery process was much easier than our previous visit (to a different house under different management). It’s really well located-close to the beach and the nature preserve trail-a very short walk and even shorter golf cart ride. Next time we come back to North Captiva we plan to book this house again!

Family vacation

We fell in love with this island! Absolutely hands down stunning. Never been here before. Our first time and the house was amazing. Amy and Ken fit every single need. They made sure we had absolutely everything we need. We felt right at home. If I could give this home more than 5 stars I would. This was our favorite family vacation we have ever taken. We will be back! Thank you so much Amy and Ken for going literally above and beyond for us. I would recommend y’all for anyone. This home is way more than worth it. It’s a beautiful dream. Very well kept together, close to the beach, peaceful (which is my favorite) !! Not a lot of people around me. They have a local hang out spot where we met friends which was awesome! Beyond perfect...

All we can say is when the reviews say the Perfect Shell has everything, that is far from an exaggeration. Every possible item necessary to make this a home away from home is here... even on our last day, we located items we did not know were there because there are so many amenities in place here for the perfect stay for either families or couples. And the pool is beyond unbelievable (it was so nice we were actually looking after our stay to see if we could get the same exact design for our future home).. relaxing and quiet to relieve any of life's stressors. Even the location far exceeded our expectations.. tucked away for a private, secluded experience on the island but a mere minute or two drive on the golf cart to the beach for an amazing walk on the sandbar or to marvel in the beauty of the sunset over the Gulf. More than perfect!

We had the most amazing time at The Perfect Shell! Booking was easy and checking in was a breeze. We had a little hiccup and our cooler with our groceries was left on the charter. Lori, the property concierge, came to the rescue with a frozen pizza and some ravioli to hold us over until the boat could deliver the cooler in the morning! The property was in wonderful condition, was very clean and absolutely stunning! My family felt so cozy and welcomed! The appliances and furniture were in good condition, the ac worked perfectly, and there was a huge selection of movies for movie nights! The pool was clean and comfortable, we enjoyed having dinners on the screened porch, the golf cart was well maintained! Oh my gosh and the beds were so comfortable!!! My only complaint is that I can’t stay forever! Amy was wonderful to work with and was available to answer our questions in a timely manner. The Perfect Shell was more than perfect and we can’t wait to return!

Best home EVER!!

There will never be a better VRBO than this one. We have stayed here 4 years in a row and would never think about another home on this island. It’s perfect and it raises the bar so high that every other VRBO we have tried is always a disappointment in comparison. The owners are local and keep this house PERFECT! They have it stocked with any amenity you could ever think of. Kitchen stocked with every spice, and cooking apparatus you could want. Beautiful serving tools, tablecloths and placemats. The house has an amazing front porch with a screened in dining area we use every meal. The reverse osmosis water system is tastier than any bottled water. They are so thoughtful and considerate and can be reached instantly with any questions. The beach is the most pleasant short walk away but the golf cart makes it easy to skip back and forth and around the island all day. The pool is perfect, the house is perfect, and the island is perfect. You will never stay at a home that is more well taken care of than this one. It is truly paradise and you will never want to go anywhere else in Florida after you have been here. I cannot express in words how wonderful this house is and how much we love it.

50th birthday trip!

This was our second time at this amazing home. We visited last May for our anniversary and returned this time for my birthday. May was definitely better weather wise, but I think it was even unusually hot this past week while we visited. Locals told us November is the prime time to visit the island. The new reverse water osmosis system was great. No bottled water was even necessary. The house is well stocked and the owners are very responsive. If a quiet relaxing trip is what you’re looking for then North Captiva is the place for you!! Look no further.

This was our second stay at The Perfect Shell and we could not be more pleased with our experience! Amy, Ken, and Tortuga are very helpful and accessible during our stay. Great House!

Excellent location. Short walk or golf cart ride to the beach. Our kids loved spending time in the pool. The house is very well stocked, and there are lots of pool/beach toys and accessories!
