Private location. No one else staying on site so we had the whole property to ourselves. The air con was a blessing during the 40+ degree day as well as proximity to vineyards and cellar doors. Fantastic view and bird life.

So cute!

The cottage was really comfortable (the beds were hard to get out of each morning😴 and the surrounds were magnificent. We had a thoroughly relaxing stay and would love to visit again.

Beautiful spot, will be back

Very comfortable, set in beautiful grounds. Doesn’t come with a few things like milk for your tea and coffee so come prepared. Otherwise very well set up and would stay again.

Too expensive for what it is

Property is nicely located in a calm area. Whilst property is advertised for 4 people (2 rooms) as soon as I expressed another couple would join I was charged close to double the rate despite that the initial 2 could have slept each in a room! Makes no sense and had no idea that it is a per person rate. There is only 1 small bathroom to share for the two bedrooms with no storage place in the bathroom. So over priced for what it is. Don’t recommend it.

We are sorry the property wasn't for you Stephane. This a rare exception for Two Doors. Yes the rate does change depending on how many guests you select, up to a maximum of 4 people. While it is only advertised as having one bathroom, we are happy to recommend larger properties to you, next time you visit us in the Hunter.

Rest & Relaxation

peaceful surroundings, away from main road, quiet; grounds very well maintained; accommodation bright with large windows, minimalistic set-up, tastefully decorated; great views from the deck onto pond and trees; central location for wine tasting and yet away from the masses. Unfortunately there were no flyscreens on back bedroom window, hence couldn't open window at night.

Retreat in beautiful landscaped property

A lovely space with spectacular views over the vineyard and removed from all traffic noise allowing a peaceful retreat.

Beautiful spot

We had a fantastic time at Two Doors. The place is beautiful, and the Lavender Ridge grounds are stunning. All of the amazing wineries around the Hunter are close by, but you still feel as though you're far enough away from the action to really unwind. The Unwind team were great too - when we realised the fridge wasn't working on the first night, they organised to have a new one installed the next morning (and made sure we had some wine chilling for when we got home!) Would recommend!

Relaxing Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage of Two Doors. Would have liked to had stayed longer but was booked out. Beautiful gardens overlooking the dam. Very peaceful area. Would definitely go back again.

Beautiful setting

Two Doors was just the relaxing, peaceful accommodation we needed. The location was perfect, away from the main hustle and bustle of Pokolbin but close enough to visit some of the wineries. All amenities were excellent , however some work needs to be done on the back sliding door, almost snapped a muscle to open and close it!!!!! Would definitely recommend(and have already) and would stay there again..

Wonderful "home" base to have whilst in the Hunter as not too far from some of the best cellar doors as well as being both private and comfortable. Highly recommend and would definitely return if have the chance.

We really enjoyed our stay at Two Doors, it was beautiful & more than we hoped for. It presented even better in real than on the Internet. The property is just magnificent and the house is very stylish in every way. Everything was I good working order except the salt grinder, which I left on the kitchen bench, but we managed. We went ballooning with Wine country ballooning , Darren was our pilot. This was a great experience. We had a superb buffet breakfast post flight at the Mercure. We look forward to return soon. Thank you for the excellent experience.
