Dieses schöne, modernisierte Cottage bietet Blick auf den Indian River und liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Clinton, dem Yachthafen von Cedar Island und mehreren Restaurants entfernt. Wir sind eine 30-minütige Fahrt von Yale, eine 45-minütige Fahrt von den Casinos entfernt und zwei schöne, bekannte Spas (Water's Edge und Saybrook Point) sind eine kurze 15-20-minütige Autofahrt entfernt. Dies ist der perfekte Ort für ein romantisches Wochenende, ein Mädchenwochenende oder einen College-Besuch. Unsere Wohnung befindet sich in einem kleinen, freundlichen, mama und pop Yachthafen in einer schönen Wohngegend. Kommen Sie und genießen Sie!

Der Wohnbereich dieses Apartments ist 600 m² groß und umfasst eine private Terrasse mit Blick auf den Indian River, die zum Essen und Entspannen einlädt. Der Raum wurde aktualisiert (2019) und ist hell und sauber. Sie finden eine voll ausgestattete Küche, ein Badezimmer mit Badewanne und ein großes, komfortables Wohnzimmer. Es gibt ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Queen-Size-Bett. Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden gestellt. Ihnen steht ein Parkplatz zur Verfügung. WiFi ist verfügbar. Maximal zwei (2) Hausgäste.

In der Nachbarschaft gibt es Bürgersteige, auf denen Sie bequem und sicher zu Fuß viele Restaurants, den Yachthafen der Stadt oder einfach nur einen Abendspaziergang unternehmen können. Der Hammonasset State Park ist eine 10-minütige Fahrt entfernt. Ermäßigter Preis für die Nutzung von 2 Kajaks oder Paddleboards vom Memorial Day bis zum Labor Day.

Wir wohnen auf dem Grundstück in einem separaten Einfamilienhaus, so dass wir Ihnen Vorschläge für Aktivitäten unterbreiten, Fragen beantworten oder auf alle Bedürfnisse eingehen können, die während Ihres Aufenthalts auftreten können.

Vom Memorial Day bis zum Labour Day betreiben wir einen geschäftigen Kajak- und Paddleboardverleih. Besonders am Wochenende ist viel los. Während der Nebensaison ist dies ein friedlicher, erholsamer Rückzugsort für ein Wochenende.

Es gibt ein Minimum von 2 Nächten. In den Monaten Juli und August gilt ein Mindestaufenthalt von 3 Nächten. Kontaktieren Sie uns für Details zu monatlichen oder längerfristigen Aufenthalten.

Lovely cottage get away

We loved every thing about our mini vacation the cottage was beautifully decorated Absolutely Cozy, the bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked if we needed to cook. We loved sitting on the deck in the morning watching the sun rise. We took a leisurely walk around the charming neighborhood there are many restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Our hosts were friendly and very responsive. We hope to make it back there in the fall. Overall it was a great experience.

Beautiful spot, lovely hosts!

Ann and Chris were great hosts; they made sure we had everything we needed! The house was easy to find, clean and the perfect fit for my husband, 4 month old and me. It was within minutes of restaurants and was close to the Hammonasset state park. The back porch overlooking the water was beautiful and so relaxing in the morning. We would absolutely stay here again!

Comfort With Coastal Vibe

Nicely appointed inside with a sunny outdoor deck overlooking the marina and beyond. We took a walk among the quiet surrounding streets. We wished we had additional free time to kayak and explore the river that property’s marina operates. Chris and Ann are great hosts and were very accessible. Highly recommend.

Vacation-finally!

Staying at Chris & Ann’s is cottage was such a pleasant experience. The minute we opened the door, I noticed how clean it was. Almost everything seemed new or barely used with lots of nice small touches-a snack basket, bathroom supplies, fully stocked kitchen with basic cooking supplies. It was very quiet with a peaceful view of the bay from the balcony. We enjoyed kayaking twice. We hope to go back again!

Incredible Location, Home, and Team

We were staying here during our wedding weekend and it was the perfect escape for me and my husband. The property is so cool and right on the water. They also own a water sports company and we got 2 free rentals and discounted rates on extras. My husband and his groomsmen ended up kayaking that morning and they had a blast. We met the entire squad who runs the operation and they were so sweet! We will definitely stay here again.

Weekend away

We chose this property as a quick weekend get-away. It has a great view of a river inlet where the owners also run a Kayak business. It is within a very quick drive to Hammonasset Beach. The unit itself was immaculately maintained and well decorated. It felt warm and inviting. Every detail was taken care of by the hosts. It was such a welcome change to have linens, towels, soaps, etc all provided. We had a chance to meet the hosts who were very nice and happy to answer any questions. I would highly recommend this property.

quintessential beach cottage

Perfect location for anyone wanting to be close to the water. We enjoyed the view over the marina and the river, had only short walks to get fresh seafood, and just minutes to go to town. Chris and Ann were welcoming and accommodating. The cottage is nicely appointed, modern and fresh colors, coastal atmosphere. we found everything we needed in the fully equipped galley kitchen. A highlight of our trip was to take the kayaks out that Chris offers to guests. We certainly look forward to come back.

Quiet coastal retreat

This is a very spacious, spotlessly clean rental with beautiful coastal/water/marsh view (no rental below you so it's quiet). The entire property is charming and VERY well maintained. Location is great; close to Route 1, but in a walkable neighborhood and a nice waterfront restaurant/bar (Aqua). The furniture is like new and comfy. There were plenty of extra towels, blankets, etc. provided in the closet as well as bathroom toiletries. A welcome basket of Keurig pods and snacks were much appreciated! The hosts were very gracious and friendly. This cozy rental is a hidden gem!

Cute and Clean

We stayed here just a couple of nights for a quick getaway and were very happy we did! The cottage sits on a marina property overlooking the Indian River and marshland. There's an east-facing deck for nice sunrise views. The cottage itself is exceptionally clean, bright and nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The property is a stone's throw from Hammonassett Beach State Park and convenient to Gillette Castle, restaurants, wineries and breweries; all within a few minutes to about a 45 minute drive. If you enjoy kayaking, as we do, there is a kayak sales and rental store right on the property and we took advantage of the included 2-hour rental one of the days we stayed. The store staff is friendly and informative and the kayaks are in great shape and also very clean. We met Chris while we were there and found him to be friendly and personable and he reached out the first day to see how we settled in. Great communication from start to finish. We highly recommend the Cottage at the Marina and will stay here again next time we need a place in the area!
