Definitely a quiet place to relax. The number of beds in various rooms was a plus for those with large groups. Communication was good with the host, but a little confusing at check-in but resolved quickly. We will consider this property again.

Served its purpose

First and foremost, we (2 adults, 3 kids) are grateful we were able to find a home during the holidays to visit family . The home is an older home, which is expected in this area, and offered warmth during a very cold weekend. However, the house was not the cleanest. The two bathrooms in the home had hair and debris in the showers/tub and the toilets around the toilet seats were pretty gross. There were many other areas that were not like the pictures. I did read in the reviews about a sulfur smell and there is one due to the well. It’s not too bad but it is present. All in all, it served its purpose, we just needed a place to sleep and it was just ok. The owners were very responsive when texting. Perhaps the cleaning service isn’t doing their job?

The home is older and could use work. The check-in email said there would be a box with the key so we wandered around looking for it- didn’t exist. Discovered front door was unlocked. Greeted by an extremely pungent egg/ sulphur smell. Note on counter said home is on well,but living with that smell was unpleasant. The home was dusty. Dead bugs and cobwebs on windowsill. Son found dead ants in his bed. Water damage and peeling on bathroom ceiling. Felt like you were in grandma’s house who is no longer able to keep up with maintenance and cleaning. My asthmatic son was having to use his nebulizer daily. Patio was disorganized. Chairs and tables clumped together like that hadn’t been prepared for our arrival. Also, no dining table which makes eating meals a challenge for a family. Kids were counting down the days until we would leave. We did our best to spend as little time in the home as possible. Location was good.

Hi Anonymous, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: - We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were disappointed to hear your feedback and want to take a moment to address your concerns. - We sincerely apologize for any confusion during check-in. You are correct, we have followed up with Evolve to ensure the mention of a box with a key is removed from the check-in instructions so future guests don't share the same experience. - The water is on well water with a softening system, and sometimes if the water is not run an odor can occur. Moving forward, we will have the water ran and checked prior to each guest's arrival. - We use a cleaning service to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest's stay and have since followed up with our cleaning service to ensure they pay closer attention to detail. Sheets are changed in between guest stays and the home is treated on a regular basis by a professional pest control company. We will further investigate your concern. - Moisture can occur when the shower is running and this has caused paint to peel, we will follow up with our maintenance team to address and remedy the issue. - Due to the rain we had experienced prior to your arrival, the patio furniture had been stacked to avoid any water damage, but we're sorry if this caused a negative impact on your stay. - We use professional photography for the home, so the features you see on the listing are accurately advertised, which includes a photo of the dining table. Additionally, other tables are available in the home should guests need them. We wish you had reached out during your stay, we would have promptly responded and been more than happy to help, as we typically have a table stored in the garage. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Had Everything We Needed!

We really enjoyed our time here, we had everything we needed as far as towels and dishes, easy access to wifi, clean and enough space for my family. The host was very attentive and responsive. We use Airbnb’s a few times a year and I can truly say, This is exactly how an Airbnb should be ran. Thank you.

Worked well for our visit to the area

We need more room than a hotel can provide. This house was well stocked with everything we needed. More than any other house we have rented. I could pack less. Working with Kim was easy and just made it easy to visit our daughter for the weekend.

Fun and plenty of space

The yard was very well cared for and large for kids to play and run around. The fire pit made the cool autumn night a enjoyable gathering for laughs and conversation. Plenty of beds and furniture to relax and visit on. Plenty of indoor floor space for kids play. Everything we needed to cook large family dinners. I would rent again.

Kim is great!!! She has a beautiful home...Very comfy and cozy...Lots of space for myself and my husband and our 4 adult children. Had a cook out in the backyard on the patio plenty of seating with large grill.

Perfect House

This house was great! Quiet neighborhood, My kids and I really enjoyed the space. My daughter took the separate bedroom all to herself! She loved that! Lol! Only had one little problem with the internet that was taken care of in less than 5 minutes. I take a trip to Ohio 3/4 times a year and the kids have already requested that I get the same place! So next time I hope it’s available.

Comfortable clean and Hospitable.

Overall a good experience at this well maintained, clean home the Hospitality and communication from the property manager made for a good experience. We had a group of 4 adults working on a project and arriving/ departing at different times so having a place where we could relax and have a little space made it comfortable and a good value. If there was one flat side it is the futon beds in the garage apartment. Not comfortable to sleep on for an adult. Might be better audited for up to early teens.

Wonderful Stay!

This was the perfect place to stay while visiting family in the area. The home was lovely with plenty of space for our little group, which included a toddler and a baby. The host was incredibly thoughtful, responsive and welcoming—even providing breakfast supplies so we were able to enjoy a great start to the day after our travels. Highly recommend and thanks again for the wonderful hospitality!
