Bay Escape

Great location. Loved the back area. It was nice sitting out there and watching dolphins come by. I would suggest the owners put in a bathroom exhaust and update the place with new bedding and pillows.

Great location but fee/fine threats everywhere

Pros: great location to beach and bay in back yard Fairly clean place Friendly property manager JR Nice pool, though it is shared with another home and is a bit awkward Cons: signs everywhere threatening fees/fines. From the first email communication from Evolve, I was threatened with fees/fines. If trash is not taken out, fee. If towels are not in the bathroom floor, fee. ETC ETC. SIGNS IN EVERY SINGLE ROOM, ON THE POOL DECK, EVERYWHERE. Sign posted beside the thermostat that stated AC could not be ran under 75 degrees or it would damage the unit and YOU WOULD BE FINED (SURPRISE). If this is the case, the AC IS FAULTY AND HAS A LEAK AND NEEDS REPAIRED. I 100% believe this is a cheap tactic for Evolve (property owner) to keep energy costs low at the comfort expense of their guests! Great location but I would not stay again out of fear of being fined! I cannot exaggerate the number of signs posted around this home instructing you on how to do basic things like: use the toilet, use the washer, use the pool, etc. And if anything goes wrong you will be fined! Initial email from Evolve states that "Additional fees will be imposed if the home is found in an unsatisfactory condition, so please return it to the condition in which you found it". They could charge a fee for anything they see fit. I will likely get a fee for leaving a 3 star review. Sad, as this is a nice place and nice location.

Hi Jeremy, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we’ve missed the mark. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - The instructions we use for amenities are to support our guests with any troubleshooting they need, to not disrupt their stay by needing to request frequent assistance. - The labels we use for policies--like quiet hours, pool use, etc--are a city ordinance and are in place to make sure our guests and neighbors alike can enjoy themselves. Terrifying Start

This trip included myself and 3 additional female friends. We checked in early, per our property manager. On arrival, we settled in, unloaded our belongings, and got dressed to get into the pool. One of my friends went inside to get a drink, and found someone banging on the front door. She opened it to two men claiming to be the owner and son, who made their way inside the home, and said they didn’t understand why we were there and wanted to know why we were there early. They stated the reason they went to the house was to place a lock. She came outside, got me, since I had made the reservation, and brought me inside with her, as she was very uncomfortable with the owner. I went inside with her, asked him why he was on the property, when we had opted for early check-in per the property manger, and also how we didn’t want him there at this time. He stated “it’s my house and I have the right to come in whenever I want” which made both of us extremely uncomfortable, considering it was 4 women staying there alone. He then said, “I’ll just stay in the house, you won’t even know I’m here” but later made his way outside by the pool and on the dock. I then asked him why he was there and he said he had to place a lock on one of the doors, and that a handy-man would be coming to do so, and that they would be gone by 4:00pm. My friend and I closed our belonging in the back bedrooms, closed the doors, and went outside. I contacted the property manager, who then said she would call the owner. After several minutes, she called me back and said “I had to apologize to the owner. He didn’t know you were going to be there early.” To which I replied we were all very uncomfortable with how he acted and the whole situation, and she said “well sorry, the owner was really upset” and just made it seem like it was our fault for being there when the miscommunication was solely on the owner and property manager. She was dismissive of my concerns and said “well he just has to make a repair, it’s not a big deal”. At which point I hung up the phone, since she didn’t seem all that concerned with the dangerous situation we felt we were in, in a strange place, with random men just showing up, and making demands about how he’s allowed to be there, no matter what. After that, we were all a little on edge through the whole trip, to the point that we moved furniture in front of the doors at night before bed. Aside from that, the home itself was good. Hi Marissa, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we’re so sorry that you felt your safety was called into question. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: We take full responsibility for the miscommunication between the owners and property manager, which led to your party being allowed a complimentary early check-in before our repairman arrived with us to replace a door hinge. While we disagree with your account of our verbal interaction, we did reference the rental agreement that gives owners access to the property with the guest's permission if there is a maintenance or safety issue. After our property manager confirmed our identities with you, our repairman spent 30 mins fixing the door. During that time, one of the owners went to the other unit on the property to inspect the dock but was not in your presence or near the pool. We left the property by 2 PM, two hours ahead of our standard 4 PM check-in time - we're glad to hear you were able to enjoy the home.

Great location and view on patio and pool make the property worth the stay

Overall a great rental. The pool and back patio make this rental worth the money. The house itself lacks a little being older but for a vacation rental and not being there much it worked for us. The third bedroom was not very comfortable for sleeping due to temperature but worked out. There are also very strict rules that come with this house like trash removal times and thermostat adjustment settings, etc. The location was amazing and an easy walk to the beach and close to lots of restaurants etc. Me, my husband and two kids stayed here and it was fine for us. We would stay again.

This super cute property located on a quiet street close to a park was a perfect fit for our family of 4 (there is a 2nd property on site which would be perfect for extra family or friends), from the moment we walked in I was sold! The Unit was clean, well appointed, fully stocked with everything we needed! The outdoor living space has a perfect pool with a lovely little dock leading to the intercoastal! The Property Manager JR was very responsive. We can't wait to return! Excellent!

Bay Escape

This name lives up to it as absolutely a “Bay Escape“. This vacation home has everything you need with attention to every detail. The beds are so comfortable and kitchen is stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The backyard pool is refreshing on a hot Florida day, and provides the perfect setting for relaxing and viewing the beautiful bay. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Night extended !!!

I can honestly say everything was amazing . The beach was very close to the house , lots of shopping centers. The pool was shared with the other house on the property and due to the social distancing we were kinda scared at first , but there was no problem we kinda took terms to be in the pool while others went to the beach. Very friendly neighborhood I mean just in general, and Jr helped us in every way. We loved it here that had to extend our stay lol ,,definitely coming back aGain some day .

Relaxing Getaway in Paradise

The house was spacious and immaculate. The view from the kitchen and the patio is so beautiful. The house was fully stocked with amenities, felt like home. If you wanted to cook you would have everything needed. Great restaurants close by. The master bed and 2nd bed were very comfortable. We would recommend it without hesitation and hope to be able to go back soon!
