Das Gatlinburg Chateau liegt etwas mehr als einen Block von der Hauptstraße von Gatlinburg entfernt. Wir haben kostenloses WLAN. Nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag in der Umgebung laden ein saisonaler Außenpool und ein Whirlpool zum Entspannen ein. Unsere Lage ist bequem zu Fuß zu Ripleys Aquarium of the Smokies. Dieses Gerät ist ein zwei Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett in jedem Schlafzimmer. Es hat auch ein Queen-Size-Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer. Die Küchenzeile besteht aus einem großen Kühlschrank, einer Mikrowelle, einer Kaffeemaschine und einem Herd mit 2 Kochfeldern.

Reviewer Comments: The property was decent, and it appeared some rooms were nice, but unit 408 was like walking into a condo that hadn’t been upgraded since 1980. The furniture was old and smelly, light switches didn’t work, and we didn’t get extra pillows or cases for the pull out bed (which was like lying on springs with no cushion. We left early to stay at another resort. The answering service was very reliable and helpful.

Great Location, needs renovated

When we first got there, the first thing we did was crank the AC down, the AC in living room leaked onto the floor, and the AC in one of the bedrooms didn't work, the other room didn't have an AC. The kitchen was very small but functionable, bring your own kitchen supplies!! The toilets were loose on the ground, only 2 lamps worked in the entire chateau, and only one plug in per outlet worked. View is great, we even saw a bear here, and pool and hot tub were very accommodating. Also, the master bathroom door locked from the inside so we had to use a butter knife to unlock it a few times.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were there just a few nights. The only positive was that It was a good location, being a short distance from downtown Gatlinburg. The unit itself had many issues that should be addressed. The bathroom had water stained ceiling tiles, holes in the wall where towel holders was partially repaired, there was water in the bottom of dishwasher so we did not use it, the air conditioner leaked orange on the patio, the railings were unsafe for my 2 year old granddaughter as her head could fit through railing. Parking was also an issue as we had to park down the hill and walk up a steep incline. There were no sheets available for sleep sofa which badly needed replaced to the point of being unusable. The building itself was clean and acceptable. Pool was not used, but looked nice.

Reviewer Comments: Resort met out needs however it does need updating ( wobbly toilet, leaky air conditioner, sleeper sofa bed broke down, spring broken and in usable for sleeping). Given 6 towels for 5 people staying 3 nights posed a challenge. Furnished kitchen was nice and helped keep food costs down. Nice enclosed pool and hot tub area. We enjoyed the hot tub in spite of the fact that theists were not operational. Staff was pleasant and responsive when we asked for an additional parking pass for a late arrival. Location was walking distance to many thing as well as nears trolly stop to get to things further away. Evenings were quiet and mornings pleasant on the patio or rocking chairs.

Do Not Book #408!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo #408 needs a lot of work! Could not turn on 3 lamps in living area, TV in bedroom never could change channels. Could not slide the shower doors, no towel rod in one bathroom and a hole where the other was but loosely installed above. Wasp nest in artificial plant on balcony, husband got stung. Furniture, bedspreads, pictures very outdated unless you are back in the 80's. Christmas decorations could be removed for the summer too! Staff was nice when called about needing a top sheet and pillows. I have no idea what the other condos are like but this was very disappointing. On a positive the kids enjoyed the pool.

Worst Place I Have Ever Stayed!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I am not a picky person at all but this was literally the worst place I have ever stayed. To begin with, all my emails were sent to the wrong email address. Thankfully, my phone number was on the emails and this person contacted me. I called to inform the managers of the mistake but they still did not correct it. When we finally got to our condo we found out quickly that the air wasn’t working properly. I had to go to Walmart and buy a fan. The temp in our condo stayed in the high 80’s and low 90’s every day. My makeup literally melted in the bag. We called and they did send up maintenance and they could not believe how hot it was in there. There was nothing they could do in a short amount of time so we were given a box fan!! A BOX FAN!! All the furniture was nasty and falling apart in this place! Christmas decorations setting out! Dust EVERYWHERE! The description says it has 2 queen beds and they were full-size. So, me, my husband and my granddaughter all had to squeeze in a full-size bed. On our second day there, the elevator broke. WE WERE ON THE 4th FLOOR! It was still not fixed by the time we left. We actually left our vacation and came home a day early because that place was so miserable!! I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE!!

It could have used a few upgrades here & there but overall, I was pleased. I loved having a balcony too. Everything worked & I would definitely stay here again. I had to call the property manager after hours & he was so nice & helpful. They have multiple properties & I was in the wrong location when I got there. They do send email instructions with your code to get in the room & what code to use when you check out. I just missed the actual address of the condo I was staying in lol

The room was infested with roaches and stink bugs. I killed 6 roaches and 5 stink bugs in our room. There was also a spider web with the spider in one of the bathtubs. The other tub was full of hair. Also, the heater was duct taped together. I asked to be moved to another room but they said nothing was available. I was given a discount but I will never stay there again. I could understand the stink bugs getting in but not the roaches. Our trip was totally ruined.

A fun week in the mountains

Reviewer Comments: Driving up InterState 75 from Florida was extremely slow because of repaving of the north bound lanes in three separate areas- 11 hours driving time turned into over 14 hours. Realizing that we were not going to make the 9:00 pm check-in time we started calling the telephone number provided on my confirmation sheet - all calls going directly to voice mail. Upon arriving in the dark we has a tuff time finding the entrance to the Chateau. Finally we found the late arrival letter posted and finally got someone to answer on the second number posted who instructed us how to open the drop box and secure our key to the unit. The galley kitchen is small but functionable, both bedrooms had broken dresser draws, I spent considerable time getting the shower doors in the master bath to open and close. A separate space to dine was almost non existent. Overall I would say that the furnishings were very dated and the coach in living room needs replacement - at least the pillows!

Reviewer Comments: Normally when I visit Gatlinburg Chateau Rentals my stay is always wonderful but this year was different. I talked with the manager prior to arriving and was told that I could possible get in my condo early if empty. I arrived at seven in the morning and was told by the receptionist someone was in the condo and I understood. But I was told by the receptionist that the room would be vacant at 11am and she advised that she would make sure that I was a priority to make sure the room was cleaned so that I could get in. I left the property to site see and returned back at 1pm and the condo was still not done. I explained to the receptionist that we had just purchased groceries and was there any other room she could get me and my family in. She replied no and stated I could put my groceries in a refrigerator in her office. I became a little frustrated and stated no thank you and got back in my car to wait it out. While waiting I decided to take her up on the offer and just sit in the office until the condo was cleaned but while exiting out of the car she met me with a key and stated I could stay in another room. The room she put us in smelled of smoke and had bugs.I finally got into the r close to 3pm. Every year during our church convention I enjoy myself, to the point I advised friends to reserve rooms at the Chateau. I was very dissatisfied this year! Hopefully if I decide to rent from Chateau rentals next year it will be a better experience.

Reviewer Comments: Our First staying here, and we enjoyed it, we were closed to see the Midnight Parade and the Fireworks Display right beside of where we were staying was amazing show to watch, to bad I didn't see the Bear, but over all was great.

The property is just OK and living room and one small bed room had air conditioner but main bed room was little bit cold in winter due to no unit in the room.
