Diese Wohnung ist nur wenige Schritte vom St. Simons Island Dorfgebiet, Pier, Spielplatz, Schwimmbad und Strände. Dieses 2 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder komplett möblierte Stadthaus hat eine enorme Menge an Platz. Es ist makellos und einfach, sich für ein langes Wochenende oder mehrere Monate hintereinander zurechtzufinden. Wohnbereich und Hauptschlafzimmer mit Fernseher und DVD-Player ausgestattet. Die Küche ist komplett möbliert, hat ein sehr helles, luftiges Inselgefühl und bietet Platz für Mahlzeiten, die zu Hause zubereitet werden, sogar für ein leckeres Krebsgeschwür!Es gibt eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner. Dieses Gerät bietet WiFi.

Great getaway!

Our family of four adults and dog enjoyed our stay. Convenient to walk to the village for shopping and food. Quick drive or bike ride to the beach. Very well stocked kitchen for a short or long stay. Owner very responsive. Great vacation spot!

This is a winner!

Wonderful location! Literally across the driveway from the pool. Easy walking distance from the Village. Even easier walk to the public Pickleball Courts! The accommodations were wonderful! We will most definitely stay here again!

Nice, clean townhouse, a walk from the village. Responsive owner. One caveat: Townhouse is manageable for someone with mild disability, but my mom is wheelchair-bound and the downstairs bathroom is too small for that.

This property didn’t smell or look clean. The sheets weren’t clean and there was rat poop on them. The shower curtain also had mildew on it. This property was not prepared for guests. It would be nice if it were clean.

Lauren stayed in my condo two nights with NO complaints. Actually told me how wonderful it was. I had allowed her to check in four hours early. When she wanted to check out late, I obliged two hour late check out but that did not satisfy her. It was ONLY at that time she found the condo to be unacceptable. Huummm??? Please check out other reviews and you’ll find highest ratings of any on VRBO. But those guests actually respect the ability to allow cleaners in to turn the unit. If guests want to stay into the afternoon/evening they should simply pay for another evening

4th of July Holiday

The location of this property was wonderful. However the owner needs to address several issues with the property. The main one is the air conditioning. It is not sufficient to cool the property in the heat of the summer. Downstairs was great, upstairs where the bedrooms are always warm and never cools down even with 4 fans running day and night.

Thank you for the Review Audra. I had AC Tech come out a second time. The heat wave that came through during the week of the 4th was brutal! And you are correct downstairs has never been an issue. He did help to redirect the airflow so upstairs is now a more uniform temp to downstairs. Thanks again and glad you were able to enjoy our beautiful island over the Fourth of July

Not what expected

This property is in a great location. We had to call to get instructions on how to check in while we were at the property. AC unit is not sufficient to keep the upstairs cool, had to sleep downstairs. There was a couch.. There’s a small fan 10 inch plastic fan trying to blow cool air up to the second floor Electrical outlet hanging out of the bathroom wall Lights were burnt out in the master bathroom Are the residents do not pick up dog mess in the surrounding yards Neighbors have their dog off leash. We had two German shepherds rush at us while our dogs were on leash. In speaking to the owner, not much care was given

John I am so sorry you had an unpleasant stay. You booked for one night. Upon your notifying me of the maintenance issues, my handyman was contacted and he rectified issues the next day. Unfortunately you can’t speak to the timeliness of those repairs or the service call made but the AC Tech because you only booked a reservation for one night. Therefore, the timeliness in which issues were addressed is unfairly represented by your review. I’m sorry you didn’t interpret my reaction to be one of concern. As to the issue of the dogs on property, as one owner in a complex of 400 units…. I can’t control what each owner or guest does with their animals. Again, a very unfair review. Best of luck to you.

Quaint villa close to the beach

This is a very nice villa that is close to the beach and a great value. It also has a nice pool across from the villa that is open until 10 pm at night as well as a fitness center. You can walk it to the beach, which our sons did, but adults may want to drive, especially if you are taking a lot of chairs/umbrella etc...We went to Massengale park to get public beach access. It is very clean, and had everything we needed as far as kitchen, towels, sheets etc. It has two bedrooms..master with a king size bed and a bathroom off of that bedroom for the upstairs bedrooms to share (the sink and toilet/bathtub area are able to be closed off for privacy which is great) and the second room upstairs has a queen size bed. Downstairs is a bathroom with a shower as well for your second bathroom. We had four adults and two young adults there, and we thought it may have a pull out sofa for the boys, but we checked and did not see where it would pull out, so you may want to bring an air mattress if you have a young adult who can sleep on the floor like we did. We look forward to our next trip coming here..St Simons was a beautiful, lazy beach town with a quaint downtown and pier area, and great restaurants! We also rented a boat for half the day from morningstar marinas and made some great memories with our son and his best friends family.

Very relaxing

The condo doesn't actually overlook the pool, because it's on the back side of the building, so we had a little trouble locating it. However, the peaceful quiet, beauty of the back yard & privacy was well worth it! We were near the 2nd pool at the back of the condominium complex, which was great for the kids. The main pool was beautiful, but smaller & more shallow than we expected. The condo was cozy. We didn't use the dining room, instead opted for the kitchen island & patio. We also found toys & beach supplies under the stairs, which was a bonus surprise. The linens were clean, the kitchen had almost everything we needed. (We couldn't find a cutting board.) But, finding coffee in the cabinet on the first morning saved my life! 😅 There were some stains on the carpet, but I understand being a pet friendly condo, this can happen. However, renters should clean up after their pets as soon as something happens! Our chug wore diapers at night & was crated when we were not there, to avoid mishaps. We went to Massengale Park the first day. It was disappointing because of the tar from oil spills, maybe? The next day we went to East Beach & it was much nicer! There are showers, bathrooms & free parking at both parks. Shopping in the village, we met some really great locals at Waterfront Gifts & Nature's Gifts. We also got some great deals at St. Simon's Beachwear. Winn Dixie is close by, if you need groceries. And, Target was only about a 20 minute drive. Overall, we had a good experience. The landlord was very helpful & prompt when we had questions. As a busy mom of 3 girls, I was able to relax for the first time in a long time.

12 Minute Walk to the Pier

Private condo location very close to the shops, restaurants and pier. The condo had everything we needed. 2 pools and beautiful duck pond. The property manager was very communicative and extremely helpful!

Not a Good experiance!!!!!

Not a good week for us!!!!!! Was not what we paid for at all. We had no WIFI in condo.. Was very poor reception. We started out in one condo and AC did not work. After moving all our stuff in. We moved to another condo and was very upsetting. We carried our computer and was not able to use it at all. We were ready to come back home. Next time we will go back to our regular place we love!!!!!!!

Beverly I am really sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay. Upon checking with cleaning lady and previous guest, the AC unit has been operating perfectly. As your check In was evening hours, I did ask that you trouble shoot and change batteries in the thermostat. When you advised it was still not working, I graciously moved you to a nicer unit. In addition I scheduled HVAC to come following morning. My service call was for batteries which had been installed backwards. Otherwise you would never have been moved. When you live on an island during Covid things can move a bit slower. The local Comcast office has closed and getting a technician out can take weeks. Even though the dedicated WIFI for the unit was not working there are several hotspots with open WiFi on the grounds which I suggested...Clubhouse, Pool. Etc However I do understand in these uncertain and unprecedented times, we all would like the familiarity and comfort of the known. Just a thought, the place you love so might be experiencing hardships as well. Be safe and hope your next visit to our beautiful island is more enjoyable Loya

Great spot for families

We had a wonderful vacation at this property! It was perfect for my family to relax. Loved the patio, it made a great spot to have some quiet as the kids played inside. We were missing a DVD player but turns out we didn’t even need it. Instead of family movie night, we did game nights! The kitchen was stocked with all the tools we needed to cook. I would recommend this property to other families.

Great Location - could use some updates

The property was a great location and perfect size as described. The complex was great too. Perfect for the pool and walking dogs, but the house in general could use a few updates and a new cleaning crew. We paid a cleaning fee, but the coffee pot, extra set of sheets we wanted to use on the couch and bed mattress pads were all dirty. The latter not realized until we stripped the beds at checkout. I know things get dusty/sandy when you are getting a house near the beach, but these general cleanliness issues were really a disappointment. The house itself could also use a few updates. The carpet on stairs and upper floor was pretty stained and could be deep cleaned/replaced. The front door lock was kind of loose and I was worried that we would get locked in or out if it fell off. The ceiling fan in the second bedroom is so loose it's not only an annoyance, but also probably a hazzard (saw a previous comment on this from 2 years ago and assumed it would have been fixed by now - I was wrong). While these were all just small things they added up enough that i thought they should be mentioned.
