We were 5 couples, so it was nice to have 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms and they were prompt in answering all our questions and we were able to leave our food in the refrigerator before the check in time of 4 pm. The pool table and hot tub and the country like setting was great (we even saw a black bear). But unfortunately the decks were dirty, the living space was very small for 10 people, the house needs to be updated.

Just okay

The neighbor was drilling a well the entire first day of our stay, and the noise was so ridiculous, that it was still aggravating inside the house. The front porch was unswept and dirty, as was the picnic table. Of the five deck chairs, only three had cushions. The hot tub lining looked discolored, making it look like algae. The upstairs remained uncomfortably hot our entire stay, despite setting the AC as low as possible. That, in turn, made the downstairs almost too cold. The kitchen and dining area were very cramped for a rental listed as accommodating eleven people. The mattress on one of the queen beds was worn and uncomfortable. We had an okay vacation; the house just didn’t meet our expectations.

Enjoyable weekend away!

Very enjoyable experience. The house had everything we needed. Lots of space, couches, beds w/linens, grill, kitchen stocked with cooking gear, a big kitchen table to gather around, a nice hot tub, pool table, wash/drier. plenty of parking could have fit 10 cars easy, quiet area in the wooded neighborhood. Only very minor downside was the amount of leaves on the decks were a little slippery when wet and the grill wasn't the greatest so cooking took a little longer. Those were very minor and expected for a cold and wet fall weekend. Would stay again and recommend to anyone.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pocono Vacation Rentals is your only choice for vacation rentals in the Pocono Mountains. Here is why: We initially rented a property in Lake Harmony on AirBNB not through Pocono Vacation Rentals. This proved to be a total disaster. The property infested with mice, the mattresses were at least 40 years old, we were told to bring our own propane, the property had no dishwasher and was completely mismanaged. (The property had a 4 5 star reviews, must have been written by the owner himself). Long story short, Pocono Vacation Rentals and team set us up with a clean, neat and well managed property. THEY DID THIS ALL IN ABOUT 2hrs! Further, this company was so diligent that when on Christmas Eve the fire alarm was beeping in the kids room. Team Members from the company arrived around 7pm and took care of the issues. Even though, we said we could live with it, given that its Christmas Eve. I can't not say enough good things about their work ethic and desire to please the customer. We have an amazing rental experience!

I really enjoy the area that it is in, and is a great time for a decent-sized group. The only drawback, which is not specific to this house, but to the community there as a whole, is that guests may have no fires of any kind. They are upfront about it, but it is just disappointing. Would recommend this to anyone, nice and quiet, large place in a great location!

Grizzly Property was beyond our expectations!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 11 of us rented Grizzly for the weekend and the property is really great. The rooms are clean and spacious, the kitchen has everything you need for cooking, and the pool table and hot tub are in perfect conditions for the enjoyment. I would only recommend that the property owners put a wifi router in the house and also a sound system which could be connected to a phone. But overall the property was really great and we really enjoyed our stay. Also it was great working with Pocono Mountain Rentals as the reservation and exit process was very easy and smooth! Great job!

Very clean, but does not sleep 13 as indicated

Overall, the Grizzly Lodge was a very nice stay. The house was clean and the hot tub stayed warm throughout the weekend. Unfortunately, the propane tank for the grill was empty upon arrival and we did not discover this until the following night when we needed to use it. The real disappointing factor was that although the bedrooms and beds were listed properly, the website claimed that the house slept 13 when in fact there were only 10 available sleeping spaces. There were several couches, thankfully, but guests were not pleased over the fact that they did not have a quiet bedroom to use. Also, this rental company keeps your deposit. I have never encountered a leasing agent who does such a thing. Although the total withheld is no big deal, it still makes no sense and is deceptive to the renter.
