Loggerhead Cay 562 ist eine sehr schöne Eigentumswohnung im zweiten Stock. Unsere Wohnung mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche, einen geräumigen Wohnbereich mit Queensize-Schlafsofa und eine abgeschirmte Veranda mit Innenhof, Pool und seitlichem Blick auf den Golf von Mexiko. Die Hauptschlafzimmer-Suite verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett mit eigenem Bad, während das Gästezimmer über zwei Einzelbetten und ein komplettes Badezimmer direkt vor dem Zimmer verfügt. Unsere Wohnung bietet kostenloses Highspeed-WLAN, Kabel-TV und sehr einfachen Zugang zu den weltberühmten Sanibel Island Muschelstränden, dem Gemeinschaftspool (einer der größten auf der Insel und beheizt in den Wintermonaten) sowie den anderen Annehmlichkeiten der Gemeinschaft wie Tennisplätze, Shuffleboard und Grill. Loggerhead Cay ist eine der beliebtesten Mietstationen auf Sanibel Island mit seiner sehr günstigen Lage am East Gulf Drive. Vermeiden Sie den Verkehr während der Hauptsaison, indem Sie die Insel bequem über den Sanibel Causeway verlassen. Die Radwege führen vor dem Komplex über den East Gulf Drive und Dantes Coal Fired Pizza liegt nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Sanibel Inn entfernt. Wir begrüßen auch einen kleinen Hund unter 25 Pfund mit zusätzlichen, nicht erstattungsfähigen Haustiergebühr.

Condo was spotless and has recently had modern furniture updates which was a nice bonus. We did not have any questions as the arrival info was very thorough. There was constant communication throughout our stay regarding some pool issues the complex was experiencing and other needed updates and reminders. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great location

This was our first time in Sanibel and we are looking to make it an annual trip. Just steps from the beach and a short drive to restaurants and shopping make Loggerhead Cay condos a perfect location. We did have an issue with the dryer in our unit and wish it had been taken care of during our stay but we were able to make it work.

Beautiful beach

The condo was very clean and the furnishings were lovely. The pool was very well maintained. A few issues with the elevator but that was quickly taken care of. Wasy walk to the beach and places to rinse off. We were blessed with beautiful weather. Thank you for sharing with us.

With a few improvements could be ideal

Location is perfect, had everything we needed. It would receive 5 stars from us with a few improvements the tile in the kitchen is in need of repair at times I felt the floor move and several tiles were damaged. Carpet was dirty and the place needed a thorough cleaning and better lighting.

Everything you need for a great stay, but could be a little nicer.

We've come to Sanibel for the past 5 years, and Sanibel always makes for a great vacation (especially if you can get around by bicycle). This Condo was good, and has all of the basic things you need for a good stay in Sanibel. Plenty of space, TVs, good wifi, nice pool, easy beach access, beach chairs and umbrellas, parking for your car and bikes. Check-in and check-out process was smooth, but note the 10am check-out, which I think is awfully early compared to other similar condos (where check-out is typically 11am or 12p). So overall, we had a really good vacation. There are, however, a variety of issues to note: 1. The beds are quite firm, which we found uncomfortable. The fitted sheet also constantly kept coming off of the king sized bed. I finally had to buy clips to hold this in place so that I could get a good night's sleep. I would strongly encourage the owners to get a pillow-top for this mattress, it would be a relatively inexpensive fix that would make the bed much more comfortable. 2. The kitchen is not well stocked at all. There weren't any containers for storing leftovers, not enough utensils or silverware, and the dishwasher was not in good working order (I actually had to put zip-ties into the the end of the dishwashers top rack to keep it from falling out). It definitely seems like this unit is corporately owned, as no owner would put up with these little issues. 3. Unit had been cleaned well, but still doesn't look very clean, due to cracked molding, sloppy paint job, etc. The drain was slow which resulted in some unpleasant odors on a few occasions. I almost fixed this too, but I was afraid of what might be in that drain. 4. The unit wasn't very well sound-proofed. It's right by the pool and the neighbors weren't especially quiet. If you are really sensitive to noise, or really want to hear the surf, this may not be for you. It wasn't loud enough to really bother us, so I think most people will be OK.

"Another Day in Paradise"

We enjoyed the unit very much. It was clean and well cared for. The furnishings were very comfortable for evening activities. The unit overlooks the pool and gardens, and the view was pleasant and inviting, with many flowering trees and bushes. The beds were very comfortable. The internet connection was seemless.

Sanibel great! Loggerhead Cay 562 meh!

Sanibel was magical as always ... Loggerhead Cay 562, not so much. We have stayed at Loggerhead probably a dozen times, this was by far the worst condo we have stayed in. It is in need of some serious updating, the finish is peeling off the master bedroom tub, bathrooms have drawers that don't open, cracked and loose tiles in the kitchen ... etc, etc.

I’ve gone over everything and am working with the owner to rectify everything to make sure things are as perfect as possible moving forward. Again, our apologies. We all work very hard to make sure things are perfect, however, when they aren’t, we’ll work even harder to get there.

Great place for people, ok for dogs

The unit was as advertised - a comfortable place to stay and work from home in a great location. Although the unit was technically dog friendly, dogs aren’t allowed in the community spaces on the property so I either had to walk my pup on the beach (and wash her) or walk her in the parking lot. Would recommend this place but wish I’d known it was more “dog tolerated” than “dog friendly.”

Comfortable, clean condo

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was very clean as pictured. We had several issues, which the property manager responded to within minutes (a/c froze, dishwasher clogged). The water pressure was sporadic during our stay; was told it could be a city or building issue; however, it was manageable with our small family. The king bed sits low without a box spring, which might make it difficult for some climbing in/out. (Above reasons are why I gave it 4 vs 5 stars.) It's an easy walk to the beach, many shells to find, and look for the bunnies in the courtyard! Overall, we had a wonderful stay.
