Clean, central and well appointed

Spent two nights in this lovely cottage, found it clean, centrally located and well appointed with lots of extras - everything you need. The price of crayfish in Stanley was a bonus!

Five star all the way for this property ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This cozy little spa cottage has got literally EVERYTHING. Well set out and equipped this little gem is amazing. Thankyou Ellie we just had the best time checking out the cafes, landscape and surrounding beauty, we felt tucked in. Will be back

Ellie’s cottage spa was absolutely fantastic. Ellie is an extremely great host. Thank you Ellie for making mine and my partners 3rd anniversary amazing. Great and spacious bathroom. Really appreciated lots of small considerate touches all through the property, buiscuits, tea and coffee, fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge and plenty more . Fantastic location and beautiful property

We had a seamless and perfect experience from start to finish, our host made sure everything was easy and took a lot of extra care with little touches around the place to make us feel welcome. I can (and do) highly recommend Ellie's to anyone looking to stay in Stanley, and highly recommend Stanley to anyone looking for a get away in the beautiful north west.

This is a little piece of heaven right down to the attention to details It’s a must do location.

On arrival the cottage was beautifully heated & the aroma of fresh flowers & lavender was so beautiful. The personal touches with fresh bread, milk & Juice the list really is endless of what Ellie has provided. This is definitely a lovers delight & we feel so relaxed & refreshed after our amazing stay.

Lovely little touches

Lovely little touches made the difference - Sheridan sheets, welcoming bowl of chocolates, generous breakfast provisions. We enjoyed staying on the Main Street and being in walking distance to cafes and shops.

Very tranquil, relaxing setting in Stanley the cottage is right in the heart of Stanley walking distance to everything, the cottage has everything provided and attention to details was excellent, we truly felt at home and could wind down at rest in between adventuring out around Stanley

Ellie’s spa cottage Stanley

Great location and cottage was well appointed. We especially enjoyed the port and chocolates. The bathroom accessories were excellent and the dvds were welcomed. Perhaps a broader selection of genres would have more appeal. Only negative comment would be about the condition of the spa which needed maintenance. Breakfast ingredients were very well appointed and overall a very pleasant stay and one which we would highly recommend to others.

It was fantastic we will gladly go back to Ellie’s

We loved how the bed was so comfortable that we slept great. It was clean /fresh and like home. We loved having our own car park space. Loved having the extras DVD’s, chocolate’s, fruit’s and many others. This place was near everything bakers, hotel, chemist, supermarket, art /craft shops plus right near to go up the Nut so we did it a couple of times (good and bad weather). We are a so glad that we stayed at Ellie’s it made our 35th wedding anniversary a great time to remember!.

Ellie really looked after us with breakfast, fresh fruit, freshly baked bread etc. Very handy to everything.Very comfortable. just needed instructions on how to use the DVD player.

Lovely property

We had a great two nights at Ellies spa cottage. The spa was very relaxing all the candles and bath oils etc were provided. Breakfast items,teas coffee plunger and biscuits for our stay. Port and chocolates a really nice touch. Bed and bedding top quality. Weather was beautiful and our dining experience at Xanders as good as anywhere. Would highly recommend this property. clean and neat

The spa cottage was clean and neat and there was an abundance of fluffy towels in the bathroom. The only thing that could have made the stay complete would be the advertised "ample breakfast provisions" to live up to that promise--they were skimpy and we had to buy more milk, yogurt and fruit. Just a small thing.

Wedding anniversary weekend

We stayed at Ellie's spa cabin for two nights for a special wedding anniversary and loved it. The spa bath complete with bath salts, aromatherapy bath lotion and candles were lovely and even though the nights were chilly it was nice and cuddly, the attention to detail with chocolates and port was welcoming. I would recommend Ellie's spa cabin to any couples who want a romantic weekend away!

If you want a romantic weekend this is the place for you. Ellies spa cottage is simply outstanding. We have stayed in a lot of accommodation around Australia but this is by far the best as far as value for money and well equipped. Ellie has ensured that pretty much anything you could want is there. The attention to detail is something that you will not get anywhere else. I can't end this review without mentioning the fantastic locals at Stanley. We had a ball and thank you to them all. Go the Stanley Demons.
