Eingebettet in einen Regenwald, mit Blick auf die hämmernde Brandung und mit absoluter Privatsphäre, ist Ocean Farm wie nichts, was Sie je zuvor gesehen haben. Das Haus wurde von renommierten Sydney Architekten, Espie Dodds entworfen und vor kurzem von den Besitzern aktualisiert. Das Haus besteht aus:

* Master-Schlafzimmer, ensuite, Kingsize-Bett. Das Hauptschlafzimmer ist halb freistehend vom Rest des Hauses und bietet zusätzliche Privatsphäre und Abgeschiedenheit.

* Master Guest, Ensuite, Kingsize Bett. Schieben Sie die nordwärts gerichteten Türen zurück und Sie sehen den Regenwald, öffnen Sie die östlichen Türen und sehen den Pazifischen Ozean.

* Gästezimmer, Kingsize-Bett. Mit eingebauten und Ansichten über den Pazifik.

* Gästezimmer, 2 Einzelbetten. Mit eingebauten und Ansichten über den Pazifik.

* Riesiger separater Rumpus / Media Room - mit Blu Ray / DVD-Player, Kinoprojektor, Foosbal und Tischtennis. Dies ist, wo wir 3 Ausziehsofas - Queen-Size haben. Ziemlich komfortabel .. aber nicht so schön wie die anderen Luxusbetten.

* Open-Plan-Wohnzimmer Esszimmer Wohnzimmer. Ruhig und dennoch intim und wird dich mit einem Gefühl der Entspannung füllen.

* Wireless Internet im ganzen Haus

* Full secuirty und zurück zu den Basisalarmen

* Interne Atrium / Grillplatz und Gasgrill

* Großer, voll ausgestatteter Kamin

* Der Manager (der auch ein Teilzeitpolizist ist - wirklich), lebt auf der Farm. Er hilft Ihnen bei Fragen und Instandhaltung.

Draußen...

Das Haus befindet sich in der Mitte eines 350 Hektar großen Rindfleisch Hobby Bauernhof. Sie können durch das Schnupfen einer 500kg freundlichen Kuh in der Nacht geweckt werden, aber entspannen Sie sich, alles, was er will, ist das Gras. Man kann keine Nachbarn aus dem Haus sehen oder hören, aber man kann 1 5 km zum nördlichen Ende des Gerringongs Werri Beach laufen.

Während des Tages können Sie spazieren gehen, fischen, lesen, schwimmen oder einfach nur im Bett bleiben. Sobald Sie in die Farm fahren, wollen Sie nicht gehen. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, Ihre Wochenendvorräte mitzubringen, falls Sie Papier oder einen professionell zubereiteten Kaffee benötigen. Gerringong ist 5 Autominuten entfernt.

Wir werden alle Informationen zur Verfügung stellen, die Sie benötigen, sobald Sie ankommen und wir haben einen Vollzeit-Manager auf dem Bauernhof, um alle Fragen zu beantworten.



Ein paar Details...

* Der Bauernhof ist 1. 5 Stunden südlich von Sydney Flughafen

* Es wird regelmäßig von den Besitzern als Wochenendtrip benutzt

* Es hat 3 neugierige Emus, die Residenz aufgenommen haben und freundlich sind

* Die Besitzer finden es genauso angenehm, im Winter zu kommen (weniger Hitze und mehr Feuer) wie im Sommer (mit Schwimmen und Surfen und Angeln, um sie amüsiert zu halten)

* Wir können nicht für Gruppen von mehr als 8 Personen über Nacht - Ocean Farm ist ein Familienhaus und die Risiken von mehr als 8 Personen sind einfach zu groß.

* Kleine Kinder: Das Haus ist architektonisch schön, aber nicht groß für kleine Kinder, die fallen könnten. Der Balkon hat keine Balustraden, deshalb fordern wir alle, die kleine Kinder haben, über die Konsequenzen eines Sturzes nachzudenken und alle Verantwortung für diese Kinder zu übernehmen

Thankyou for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We loved it; there is so much attention to detail in the rooms and the layout, the sun shone, the kids spent the entire day in the pool and I loved sitting in the bay window gazing at the view and watching the emus. It was a privilege to be able to stay there.Craig the farm manager was very warm and welcoming too, leaving us in total privacy with his mobile number in case we needed it. We would love to return next year.

I don't really know how to describe just how phenomenal Ocean Farm is. Our group have been to some pretty spectacular places in the past 10 years but this takes the cake, and eats it too.As you drive through the gate and over the hill towards the property, you just know that life stops and Ocean Farm begins. The pool, the deck, the BBQ atrium, the rumpus room, the TV, the emus...just awesome. Awesome.And a massive thanks to Craig - very helpful and left us to our own devices but was always at hand if we needed.We will be back many times.

Us girls have been going away together every year for the past 11 years and this is the first house that we all agreed we will return to in the future. The houses we have stayed in in the past have all been very luxurious (only the best will do!) but Ocean Farm was something else and Craig was very helpful too. So we will be back and will make sure it is in the warmer months so we can enjoy the stunning pool. Emus were well fed and whales came past every day, magnificent! We enjoyed a family celebration with 4 generations at this magnificent location.

Ocean farm has probably the most spectacular views we have ever encountered in a home stay. Totally cut off from the rest of the world, yet close enough to towns and cities for supplies.Drew is a thoughtful host - the chilled champagne for purchase is a great touch ! We felt privileged and at the same time comfortable in this unique setting. We will treasure the thoughts of our time together here and look forward to returning.

5 stars is simply not enough!!

I knew this place would be amazing, but honestly, when we arrived it exceeded all expectations. Simply beautiful. Plenty of room for 12 people, fantastic facilities... the view... no words or photos do it justice. Cannot recommend highly enough for family getaways. 5 minutes from Gerringong shops, just over an hour from Sydney, tucked away from the highway - couldn't ask for a better location. Favourite part was waking up to resident horses coming up to the house to say Hi (and eat a carrot or two). Divine, would come back in a heartbeat.

The perfect family getaway

I don’t think we’ve ever stayed anywhere with such a spectacular view. It was a family getaway with grandparents, us and kids. 10 people and everyone was comfortable. The living area is gorgeous but your eye is constantly drawn to the view. The kids (ages 9-12) happily wandered the fields and we all left feeling revived and relaxed. Just fabulous!

Wonderful property

We loved our stay at Ocean Farm, the property is really well laid out and works brilliantly for 4 couples. The views are varied and magnificent and the there is the right mix of luxury in a homely welcoming atmosphere. Privacy, solitude and quietness are a particular delight here resulting in a most relaxing stay.

Great Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean Farm for a relaxing celebratory week with friends and family. The house is beautifully positioned amid acres of farmland overlooking the ocean. The property is for the most part well appointed but could really benefit from a few updates and some simple maintenance. The fly-screen doors and the video/TV system need some attention. The pool is delightful but we missed a spa pool which would have been a great accompaniment to the infinity pool. The kitchen is well equipped and very workable with a coffee machine and a full range of cooking implements, cutlery and crockery. Thanks to caretakers Craig and Alison who promptly looked after any request with a smile. We would recommend this property for a truly relaxing break.

Hi Michelle, Many thanks for your review of Ocean Farm. I am so glad you thoroughly enjoyed your stay. I am sad that you gave us our first 4 star review though! I agree that the fly screens can be a pain to operate no matter how much maintenance and love they are given - but I will be sure to re-examine them this week. The TV setup- I assume that you are referring to the fact we don't have some of the free-to-air stations. Sadly we are in a valley that struggles with reception and we just can't get good coverage. The upside is that out internet is now a little faster and usually OK to watch TV shows...and foxtel still works well. I will contact you directly if that's OK, to see how we can improve other things (short of installing a spa!) Thanks again for coming to stay.

Heaven on earth

We absolutely loved our stay at Ocean Farm. The tranquil setting was just what we needed to sit back and relax and have some real R&R. I was married in the area and while we had a load of family from out of town (which caused us to delay our honeymoon) this retreat was cozy yet luxurious! Everything you need and want. The pool is amazing!! And the manager, Craig, was so lovely, helpful and curtious. My family and I would highly recommend this property and we hope to stay again!!

Private rural Oasis by the Sea

Ocean Farm- a private rural Oasis right beside the sea at Gerringong on the beautiful NSW South Coast. What an amazing place to have spent 3 nights with our families during our Wedding weekend (ceremony/ reception held down the road at lovely Bush Bank Weddings). Check out the movie/ video to get an appreciation on the views and property. Although we did not get to spend much time at the property it was great to take a walk late one afternoon through the paddocks and get some nice photos. Large loft/ playroom was a hit with the kids. Bathrooms are a little dated and pool was cool but refreshing (early March) due to no solar panels and heating costs but not complaining by any means. A great location that feels a million miles away from civilization, but is only over the hill from it. The views are to die for and the house is very well appointed. The daily visit from the emu for a slice of bread was fun & quirky! The owner was happy to go out of his way to ensure everything was in order for his guests. This beautiful property will take your breath away. The view is outstanding and the huge bay window with comfy cushions and full glass windows and wrap around verandah was just bliss. The rooms are all queen with own bathrooms and the kitchen just divine to cook in. The hide away games room with huge projector screen is great for the South coast rainy days that can occur. The owner and site manager were just lovely and helped with everything. Great house for a big couples catch up or a girly weekend away.

We went to Ocean Farm as four couples all with young babies (10-17 weeks). It was the perfect retreat for us as new families.The property was amazing. The bedrooms all large with great beds and all with a good view. The living spaces were both spacious with plenty of room for everyone. We did not feel like we were on top of each other.Possibly the best element of the property was its remoteness from other properties. It felt like we were all alone and had complete privacy, which was great.Drew, the owner, was also super helpful throughout the whole process.I would recommend this property to everyone.Oh, and the pool was a nice touch!

Six adults and a 5yr old enjoyed 4 nights of bliss. Irrespective of the bad weather we braved the pool many times, cooked up a storm three times daily and built a roaring fire each evening to roast marshmellows and simply admire. We didn't leave for two whole days and even then ventured for 2hrs into Kiama one day and another 2hrs into Berry the next.....only to grab more provisions. Woolworths delivered our homeshop order (placed online prior) within hours of our arrival so we were stocked. Cows visited like clockwork each sunrise. I fought with the coffee machine twice - it won and withdrawal set in but other than that.......an excellent experience.

We had a fabulous weekend at this beautiful home. We are a group of 3 couples and the house was perfect. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we could need. The bedrooms were beautifully presented and it was clean and tidy. The pool and deck make for a very lazy afternoon looking at the ocean. I would fully recommend this home.

Ocean Farm is spectacular! Absolute luxury and seclusion. The pool is beyond amazing, and many hours were spent enjoying the views to the ocean from within the pool. Huge bedrooms and bathrooms (all with amazing views), a kitchen stocked with all of the essentials, a house full of all home comforts, all in a beautiful and peaceful setting. We were lucky enough to spend 5 nights at Ocean Farm, and did not leave the property once! If you want to treat yourself to something out of this world, book a stay at Ocean Farm, you won't regret it. We will be back!

This house exceeded all expectations. The inifinity pool is amazing, (we saw whales!!), the entertainment room is fantastic, and the emus were so cute! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals, and the property was a short drive from Berry. The only warning I'd give would be in regards to the gravel driveway that leads into the property - arrange for a 4WD! Other than that - absolutely PERFECT.

Thank you for allowing us to relax in such breathtaking surroundings. The house and location are simply stunning and luxurious, the property truly exceeded our expectations. It felt like a 5star resort but even better. The best holiday house in Australia! We used the fire place everyday due to the rain and bad weather which we had absolutely no complaints aboutthe entire weekend was very relaxing. While on the property we saw sea eagles flying around and whales swimming past...truly amazing!

All I can say is you won't want to come home. Spectacular view, luxurious, comfortable and so unique. There is nothing you will want for as it is all there. Fantastic, highly recommend and will go back again.

Accommodating guests in absolute comfort, this space includes a cosy fireplace, dramatic infinity pool, spectacular views of the hills and ocean and much more. Enjoy complete privacy at the property, shared only with the cows and horses. A short drive will take you to the charming towns of Kiama or Berry, where you can enjoy wonderful cafes, shops and markets. Take to the walking tracks, go to the ocean for a surf, or relax by the pool. There is plenty of fresh air to help you feel refreshed, and our guests always say they never want to leave.
