Great time was had by all.

We were a family ages ranging from 11-71 and there was something for all of us. From sunbathing beside the pool to activities.Loved the kitchen and plenty of crockery and cutlery.Seeing the Kangaroos was amazing!Good family place and not too far from Berry or the beach.It was great.

Family surprise 70 Birthday

Excellent location and house . Perfect for 7 adults and 3 children. Large covered area outside(we had a rainy weekend)Beautiful well equipped functional kitchen.Very comfortable relaxing areas Bathrooms and beds excellent.Would definitely stay again. The house itself is packed with everything that one might need for a great break. Plenty of pots and pans, cutlery and crockery. Outside there is lots to do. There are lots of places to walk to. The pool in season would be wonderful. The view from the house is most pleasant. The tennis court is in good condition with rackets and balls available..After dark there is a fire pit close by the enormous barn, with basketball and ping pong. We can easily recommend Berry Downs as a great holiday treat.

We had a wonderful stay, the view is breathtaking and it’s super close to berry and 7 mile beach, you get the feel of a country farm stay but only moments away from everything Berry has to offer. Will be staying again. Loved it.

This property is gorgeous for a secluded week away but close to Berry and the coast. We had a wonderful time and especially loved the view of the mountains, the lovely pool, the birds and daily visits of kangaroos. Will definitely be back!

Berry Farm The Best Ever!

Our family of 10 have for last 10 years been staying together nearly every year in big homes. We have so enjoyed Berry Farm and will be returning next year. The property is perfect for us all. Plenty of room and choices to enjoy sitting and watching the view and kangaroos, swimming pool, tennis and all the games in the shed. Close to Berry shops, the beach. Can’t recommend it highly enough !!

Amazing country getaway

We loved our stay in Berry and hope to return to this property again. No one wanted to leave. The pool, trampoline, tennis court and basketball hoop were all big hits with the kids. The adults enjoyed the spacious lounge areas and stunning views. It was a wonderful weekend!

Location was spot on, and view was lovely. Exactly what you would expect from Berry. But there were a few things I’d like to mention. Firstly Max was a great host and had no issues answering questions. In saying that the house really has dated a bit since these photos were taken. The outdoor entertaining area was very weathered, the lounge chairs cushions were old and dirty the frames of the door had cobwebs all over them. The fire pit had ash in it and no fire wood again that beautiful area shown in the pictures all pristine and filled with wood was dirty with cobwebs and no wood. Once inside yes the house itself was lovely alittle strangely set out and not really the best for a large group to be together. The freezer section of the fridge was filled with food and we couldn’t use it due to the amount that was in there. There was a coffee machine on offer yet no pods, and no Tea or coffee sachets. Which would have been handy. In the main TV room there was no TV so if we wanted to watch a movie it would be in the small kids lounge area, not really ideal for 12 people. Pool area like stated before was old and not well kept. Tennis courts, the net was old, tharea wasn’t cleaned or looked after. There were left over ball tubes everywhere. Just not what we were hoping for when you pay 2000 a night. It was alittle disappointing seeing as it was a special milestone for the grandparents and we thought we would spend that little bit more.

Beautiful property (but not suitable for mobility accessibility)

Our extended family had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house. There are so many things for all ages to do such as the pool, tennis, basketball, piano, games etc. Bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms are all great and well equipped.Our only issue was that we thought the house was one level which is important for us as we have a family member in a wheelchair. While the house has no stair cases per se, just wanted to note that each room does involve a step up/step down including accessing the bedrooms, bathrooms, lounge room, kitchen etc. Unfortunately our family member was unable to move from room to room or use the bathroom without being lifted each time. The house is terrific, but just noting accessibility details here for the benefit of anyone in future with mobility/accessibility needs.

Too many levels

The listing said a few stairs involved on the property. My husband has a knee injury that requires a full-leg brace and crutches. I contacted owner specifically about my husband’s condition. I was told 4 steps to get into house. Yes, there were 4 stairs to reach house from the deck - no railings. Inside to go from room to room there were additional 1-3 stairs, again no railings. We could not use the master bedroom as it was down 2 sets of 2-3 stairs and a long hallway. In addition, the dark wood floor made it difficult for any of our family members to distinguish where the steps began and ended. The listing needs to be more specific about the challenges the house could present to folks with mobility issues. Except for the stair issue, house was great. Lots of things for my grandchildren to do. Kitchen was amazing.

Stunning property

Absolutely gorgeous property, Caroline was wonderful with engorging we needed before the stay with a lot of information. The house is just stunning, the kids played all day outside and everything is tasteful and well decorated. The kitchen is great and big as we enjoy cooking made everything so much easier. Would definitely like to visit this property again.

Beautiful property, suitable for family groups. Highly recommended

This is a great home. We loved getting up to the sight of kangaroos, rabbits and birds. The kids - even the teen agers - loved the pool, the wonderful shed where they played cricket, basketball, darts, skates, and the tennis court. There are great outdoors activities nearby - Illawarra Tree Top, Jambaroo, beautiful beaches, kangaroo Valley and lovely town. The owners were wonderful and easy to communicate with.... Great family holiday, highly recommend this property.

Lovely house in gorgeous setting

Stunning location, we were all so excited and happy as we drove onto the property before we had even entered the house. House has a lovely big kitchen and lots of fabulous communal areas from where you can enjoy the view. Kids and adults loved the tennis court and the pool and the kids had a ball running around enjoying the kayak and trampoline, both of which are perfectly positioned to watch but not hear the kids will you have a drink on the deck. Can't wait to return.

So fabulous for a family getaway

The house was lovely, very well equipped and so functional. We had 2 1/2 days of rain over 3 days but we managed to still enjoy the house and surrounds so much. The host was helpful, great to communicate with and I can't recommend Berry Downs highly enough. My family have asked me to book it again. It would be great in either summer or winter. So perfect for a family birthday celebration.

Wonderful country property

We spent a lovely week long winter break at Berrydowns. We holidayed with 4 adults and 7 kids between the ages of 7 and 12 years - there was plenty to do at the property (the canoe on the dam was a bonus). The property is in a great location close to Berry township (30 minute country walk into town) and 10 minute drive to Seven Mile beach. The owner was lovely, very helpful. We will definitely go back - next time in the summer so that we can use the fantastic pool!

Perfect place for a family or two

Great location, 7 minutes out of Berry and 10 minutes from Seven Mile Beach. Lovely home with all the amenities. Great pool, tennis court - we didn’t get to use it because of the torrential rain - and basketball/table tennis in the shed. Quiet and picturesque place. Definitely recommend
