Everything was fine and host let us check in early. We each arrived at different times due to flight delays and host was able to accommodate us. Great location and quiet. Be aware that there are a lot of stairs to get to the apt. We love Venice!

Positives: The apartment was just a 6 minute stroll from the Rialto bridge so was superbly locatedThe beds were comfortable Views of normal Venice life were interesting to watchBathrooms downstairs were modern and cleanAir conditioning in all rooms was good and much neededNot so positiveWhen we booked last year the bedrooms were configured as 3 double bedded rooms and one twin bedded room which was perfect for 5 ladies, however when we got there, all rooms had double beds, we were not informed of thisThe shower on the upper floor was very dirty with black mould around the shower head, so was not usableThe floor on the lounge was very dangerous with badly cracked concrete, you had to ensure you wore shoes insideThe dishwasher had a note on saying do not useThe freezer needed defrosting therefore the door did not close fullyThe wardrobe doors in one the rooms would not stay closedGenerally shabby and not reflective of the pictures, which were clearly taken many years before

This was the perfect place in Venice for our family holiday. Communication with the management team was easy regarding check in time. The apartment was clean and spacious. Plenty of room for our family of 6. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay

My friends and I stayed at the property for a few days before leaving on a cruise. The property was perfect for all of us. We all had enough space to enjoy ourselves and the neighborhood was fantastic! Great stay for a first time or repeat visitor.

Fantastic views of canals. The heavy wood and metal doors and gates are very secure. Interesting collection of antique furniture. Newly renovated modern bathrooms with decent water pressure. Basic kitchen with medium-sized refrigerator and coffee makings ready to go. Great cooling cross-draft when all windows open. Heavy shutters keep out light and heat. Air conditioning throughout house. Advertised as washer and dryer, but only a washer. No drying lines. Third floor location, no elevator but wide stairs. Lacking sufficient pillows and soap.

Large apartment. Great location. Easy checkin. We took a private water taxi there from airport-highly recommend. Clean but could definitely use some updating—especially living room chairs and couch. Great for short stay.

Great location convenient to realto Bridge with just a 7 min walk. Family accommodations worked well utilizing all areas for family of seven. Staff worked well to either resolve or help with any issue.

Live like a local...

This is a great apartment. Plenty of room. Off the beaten path so you can avoid some of the crowds. Five flights of stairs are not fun after walking around all day, but we were very pleased with our stay.

Great location.

Very nice apartment and within walking distance to San Marco Square, restaurants, and sites such as Rialto Bridge. Very typical of an Italian apartment. We had to go up 60 steps to get to unit, but we knew that when we booked. Good exercise!!

Great location. Close to everything.

The apartment was nicely kept and the stairs to the third floor apartment were good exercise for all the stairs going up and over the bridges. Arianna was great. She met us and guided us to the apartment which is a must for any first time visitors to Venice. She also organized the water taxi for us back to the airport at a location two minutes walk from the apartment.

An oldie but a goodie

A comfortable older residence in Cannaregio among locals. Bathrooms are small but shower works fine with good water pressure. Air conditioning spot on. Easy to communicate with Nino who gave us the keys & did the house orientation. There was plenty of room for the five in our party.

Very ok but a few lose ends

I’ve booked with VRBO many times and this was not quite the same high standard. It feels a little shabby and unloved. Having only one wine glass between five, few serving bowls and poorer pre visit communication just took the shine off the trip. The location is good. The space is as described. It’s close to everything. It’s nearly excellent.

Great location!

We were met at the water taxi and brought to the apartment and we appreciated this because it would have been hard to find. It is close to everything including a grocery store. Very comfortable with beautiful water views. The living area is big and comfortable for hanging out. We did request more towels but never received them. We also notified Adrianna that the upstairs sink was leaking and nobody came to fix it even though she said they would be there. Other than that, this is a great place with a great location.

Good Location, Safe, HUGE!

The Good: Good, central location HUGE apartment, lots of space, many sleeping options The 3 bathrooms are nice, and it’s great to have multiple bathroom options with a group! Lots of good natural light Beautiful views of canal Given 3 sets of keys Very secure with 3 levels of keys needed The Bad (not a big deal, but some people may care): As advertised, no elevator Dark, dank entry level off of alley, but that’s to be expected in Venice The A/C was a little sluggish in the top floor bedroom and the bedroom off the kitchen, but it was a really hot out and it was manageable Some of the furniture is a bit worn Be prepared for very specific trash collection requirements in Venice (not the fault of the property owner)

Nice and comfortable stay

It was a nice house . Initially thought would never find it as have to take so many turns to go the house . But it was not hard later on. House had plenty of room for everyone . Host asked for 50% of money I needed to pay in cash , which was hard as getting money converted from $ to euro had to pay lot of commission would have preferred paying via credit card. Had to wait for almost 1 hrs before host picked up from the Vapratto station though had been sending emails of estimated time of arrival . Other than that everything else was ok.

hello we charge the 30% deposit to book the apartment, then balance due can be paid cash or with credit card at check in. City tax should be paid cash. We ask our guest to call/text a mobile number 30 minutes before arriving at the meeting point. If you had to wait it is because you did not call/text in advance, sorry for that.
