This is our 3rd stay at the Sapphire and it was great once again! Check-in and check-out was super easy! We had a few minor maintenance issues during our stay and SPI Rentals sent someone quickly and took care of everything.

First I want to love on all the staff , The SPI rental staff was super knowledgeable , extremely helpful , and kind. They helped me all The way thru the rental process and it made it so smooth . They were just so amazing and easy to talk to . The rental space was clean and beautifully located , the staff at Sapphire was also Amazing ! My family enjoyed our stay and made new memories .

Perfect Beach Vacation

Our family loved our stay at Sapphire! The condo was very well equipped and had great views of the beach. The amenities are awesome. We enjoyed the gym and my wife and daughter loved the spa. Beach access was easy and the huge pool always had space available. The location was perfect for us. We wouldn't hesitate to visit again!

Would stay here again.

We had an issue with a window shade in one of the bedrooms, management company took care of issue in a very timely manner. Internet was good; take fire stick as there are no smart TVs in this condo. The ad also posted 2 king beds and 2 queen beds. There was 1 king and 3 queens in condo. View was great place is very clean. Would stay here again.

Great service

This was our 10th year with SPI Rentals and your customer service continues to be exceptional. We did have trouble with the trac lighting. There are only 4 fixtures that work anymore and that is not enough light at night for our activities. I do hope this can be fixed before next year. Thank you, Kent and Sylvia Person

Great facilities, well kept and clean. Unit was very nice, balcony views were great. Only suggestion is to upgrade the beds. Master bed frame was not sitting level due to carpet under foot board and middle vertical supports had collapsed causing mattress to sink in middle. Vertical Supports appear to be too long for height of horizontal slats. Guest beds were just very firm. All in all, really enjoyed our stay and would recommend both the facility and the unit. Our first, but not last, Padre Island visit. Thanks!

Nice condo, loud music

The condo itself was very nice with nice views, however, we stayed during Spring Break and the Holiday Inn next door hosted parties for college kids 3 nights in a row that blared music so loud nobody could sleep until it stopped at 2am every night. Also the pools were completely drained and inaccessible during our entire stay which was not mentioned by anybody at any time. Very disappointing.

False Advertising

They said a restaurant and bar was available next door but that was not true. They were closed for renovation and did not tell use when they took our money. It was a holiday week so we paid higher than necessary to get access so we did not have to drive. It was false advertising and they would not compensate us. Wasted extra money to get this location. Be careful with what they promise.

We understand that having a restaurant nearby was a deciding factor for you to book the property and that it was disappointing to you that the restaurant was closed. However, we do not make any promises that a local restaurant, or any other local business, will be open during one’s stay. We include information about local business and attractions in the majority of our listings' descriptions so that our guests know what our wonderful island has to offer. We can not guarantee that they will be open and available at all times for our guests. Many of the island's businesses are seasonal in nature and may use the offseason to renovate, or make repairs to the establishments. We highly recommend that our guests contact those establishments directly to ensure they will be open during the time of your stay. The island’s restaurants and attractions do not dictate the cost of the rental property, and therefore are not listed in the amenities list on the property information. As such, we did not agree that a refund was justified. As a courtesy, we did offer you a 20% discount off a future stay at the Sapphire, which you declined. It is unfortunate that you were not able to enjoy your stay because of this, but we hope that you have a better experience on the island in the future. Regards,

okay, not great

First, the good: location, pool, beach access are wonderful! Second, the not good: furniture is old, broken, and dirty. This is not a comfortable condo to hang out in. While the beds were comfortable, the bedding and bath linens were not great. We were given 2 towels per bathroom (worn and cheap) and the king size pillows had standard size pillow cases. We had to buy additional trash bags as well. The kitchen is not well-furnished so we ended up eating out every night. We had a great stay, but would not reserve this room again.
