Dieses Gerät befindet sich im Worldmark Timeshare-Resort und wird von Wyndham verwaltet, der Nummer 3 der Hotelgruppen in den USA (nach Hilton und Marriott). Wyndham geht weit über die Branchenstandards hinaus, um uns, den Eigentümern von Worldmark, eine Freude zu bereiten, sodass wir ihren Verwaltungsvertrag jedes Jahr verlängern. Dieses Resort in Kihei verfügt über 200 Einheiten, die erst vor einigen Monaten renoviert wurden. Das Reinigungs- und Wartungsteam hält sie in perfektem Zustand. Ich hatte das Glück, viele Worldmark-Urlaubspunkte zu sammeln, habe aber keine Zeit, sie alle zu nutzen. Als meine Gäste haben Sie alle Rechte und Privilegien der Stammbesitzer. Wenn etwas kaputt geht oder Ihnen die Küchen- und Badezimmerausstattung ausgeht, rufen Sie einfach die Rezeption an und sie kümmern sich umgehend um alles. Das Resort liegt direkt gegenüber von einem tollen Strand, Kamaole 1, sehr ruhig und kinderfreundlich. Das Resort bietet auch einen schönen Außenpool, einen Whirlpool, ein Kinderbecken, Grillmöglichkeiten sowie Fitness- und Erholungszentren. Rauchverbot in der Einheit, keine Haustiere erlaubt, muss 21 oder älter sein, um zu buchen. Beim Check-in bittet das Resort um eine Gutschrift oder eine Einbehaltung einer Debitkarte, die vollständig erstattet wird. Die Resortmitarbeiter bieten Ihnen möglicherweise eine 90-minütige Präsentation zum Timesharing an. Ganz wie du willst, sag einfach Nein, wenn du nicht willst.
Die Einheiten werden am Morgen des Check-ins zugewiesen und Sie erhalten die beste verfügbare Einheit am Tag Ihrer Ankunft. Die hier gezeigten Bilder stammen vom Resort und stellen eine typische Einheit dar. Great location

The facility is awesome. My only complaint is when you book with VRBO the unit you get is farthest away from the Main Street and the pool. This is a timeshare facility and the timeshare owners get preference over rental people. Other than that I would stay here again

Family friendly property

The condo was very clean and much more spacious than other places we have stayed in Kihei. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Soap, shampoo & conditioner were provided as well as a small supply of laundry detergent.Wi-Fi was ok. It was fairly slow, and devices would get kicked off daily between uses and need to be logged back into.No smart TVs. They had DirectTV service.With this being a family friendly property, it was not quiet. Upstairs neighbors walked like they were stomping, and occasionally, teenagers or babies could be heard yelling / crying from lanais.The pool area is nice and large. The average depth is 3 feet, so families can spread out.The location is right in the heart of Kihei, and it’s a really easy walk to the ABC store and Kam I beach park.Condos aren’t equipped with beach gear, so plan on renting the gear you want to take with you to the beach.

If your looking for a place to sleep this is it

The overall property is beautiful, however the Condo we rented was in serious need of an upgrade. The appliances were terrible the fridge froze our vegetables which as you know are very costly also the dishwasher did not work causing us to hand wash our dishes. The condo itself was poorly stocked, I guess we were expecting a little more considering we had stayed at other VRBOs and this was by far the worst. The furniture is extremely uncomfortable as are the beds. Our view was of a drainage pipe which cannot be helped. Overall not a pleasant experience for the cost.

Jerk of an owner - avoid this property

The owner gave us one day notice to leave the property because he had made a ‘mistake’ and double booked the condo. We had booked the property six months in advance - he couldn’t have discovered this mistake earlier?!?! I don’t really believe it was an honest mistake. I feel he knew it was double booked and had his fingers crossed it would all work out. If we hadn’t been extremely lucky to find a condo with a last minute cancellation and was available at a discount, we literally would have had to change our flight and go home halfway through our vacation. In peak vacation season, any condo available at the last minute was completely unaffordable. The amount of stress he caused and the annoyance of packing up and moving ruined a full day for us. Tim, the owner, offered one night at his other unit, but then we would have had to move twice. Don’t stay here

I am really sorry about this. As I said before, resort switched to a new computer system and many reservations were inadvertently cancelled. I only discovered it a day prior to check in when I tried to register your name. I asked you to provide the name six months in advance, not sure why you waited until last minute. I was able to secure four nights for you and resort offered you another unit after that, but you decided to book another place, which I paid for.

Pretty good location but quite a walk to the beach. A couple of food trucks park out front.

No “eat-in” restaurants nearby (you definitely need a car if you’re staying at this “resort.” Not really my kind of resort. Washer/dryer will barely hold two beach towels, if you want clean towels you have to take your dirty ones to the “housekeeping building” and exchange them. No restaurant on site - the nearest ones are a few blocks away. Units are very small. If you’re only going to be here to sleep, it’s not bad. We were generally gone all day but still not a place I’d return to. I refer somewhere that I can run down and grab something to eat, or a cup of coffee. This has nothing on-site except a swimming pool that we never used. When I saw it upon checking in, it was wall to wall people. My idea of a resort is multiple pools, a bar, at least one restaurant, etc. The master bedroom did have a king bed with a private bath but the shower was maybe 3’x3’ - extremly small. I’m not certain that a larger resin could even shower in it. The second bedroom had twin beds with a queen size Murphy bed in the living/dining room. The second bath was small but at least had a tub/shower combination. The kitchen is very, very small but does have a dishwasher and full size fridge. Two bar stools and a round glass-top dining room table are your seating options for eating, but the “living room” is super small as well. One small sofa a two very uncomfortable chairs. So if you’re spending much time “hanging out” I wouldn’t recommend it. There are tons of true resorts on the beach side of the road - that’s where we will stay on our next trip.

Hello Kim, thank you for sharing your thoughts. Sorry that your expectations were not met. I recommend next time you rent Marriott or Four Seasons, although they charge double or triple of our rate for the amenities you like to see in a resort. Here is what one of my guests wrote on the same day you left your review: "Classic time share property, everything was exactly as expected. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The layout was ideal for our family of five as everyone had plenty of space and comfortable beds to sleep on. Generally speaking the property staff was friendly and helpful. The best part of the property was how close it was to the beach and nearby restaurants and shops."

Tim responded promptly and courteously. The location of the property was perfect next to a quiet family beach and sand volleyball courts. The complex is convenient near shops, the ocean is one street away and on the other side it overlooks the mountain. My teenagers and I enjoyed our stay and will use this location again, if we head back to Maui in the near future.

Beautiful Worldmark

We loved everything about our stay. The location was beautiful right across from the beach and volleyball courts. Pickleball courts was only 6 min drive away. The Maui bread store was a few min walk away. We truly enjoyed Paradise. Our home stay away from home was cozy and relaxing. We had all the essentials of a home at the top of our fingers. We could could make a home cook meal at anytime then we can go out and eat when we needed. It was just a great vacation. At the end of the day our family can relax by the pool and soak in the hot tub getting ready for the bed. Thank you Workdmark!

Great Location - Older Unit

This is a fantastic location with a perfect beach literally across the street. Walking distance to shopping and ABC Store. I have stayed at other WorldMarks though and this particular one has not been updated and refreshed. It is need of one. The restrooms and showers were old and need of some upgrading. This does not have central air like other Worldmark locations and unfortunately the unit in the master bedroom did not work. We placed calls and directly contacted maintenance as well as the VRBO contact. Someone came to look and said it needed to be replaced. They confirmed a time for replacement but nothing was ever completed. After attempts for repair went unanswered we just dealt with it. The owner attempted to assist with the situation as well but was unable to procure the maintenance and attention required. Overall it was a good stay and again, great location. We had a nice time in Maui.

Awesome staff - resort fell short

Staff seem like they transferred from the Ritz - however the resort fell short. No housekeeping, fetching our own supplies and towels from the housekeeping building, bugs in the room, trash in the bushes, broken bbq grills, the list really does go on. This was just our experience, so can't speak on behalf of others. Definitely will not ever stay here again or world mark anything

Sorry about the problems your rightfully described. Resort can't hire enough maintenance people due to shortage of qualified workers on the island right now. They are also getting ready for a major renovation of all units and grounds in the next couple of months, and delayed some of the ongoing maintenance unfortunately.

Great place to stay!

The location was perfect: walked to restaurants at night and ABC store for coffee every morning. The unit was a good size, just wished the second bedroom had a queen instead of singles. Everything else was perfect and the host went out of his way to answer questions immediately.

Clean, convenient, and unpretentious

We loved that this condo was literally across the street from Kam I, which is a great beach for our nearly-adult kids and their 88 year old grandma both. We rented beach chairs and boogie boards for the week from the little shop by the ABC market, and took the proprietor's advice not to rent an umbrella (wind will make it hard to use). There are plenty of dining options, and a decently equipped kitchen for dining in (the Foodland grocery store is walkable, or a short drive, and has really good, cheap seafood, especially poke). This is not a "fancy" place like some of the resorts in Wailua, but we liked that it felt more like a "regular folks" place, with lots of families, some diversity of clientele, etc. The pool and hot tub are nice, the grill area very useable. There were five of us and we were comfortably accommodated in a two bedroom unit with a murphy bed. If you stay here, and you like snorkeling/diving, DO NOT MISS the boat trip to Molokini. We went early in the morning (7 am), and had the lagoon almost to ourselves for the first hour. I have snorkeled and dived on the Great Barrier Reef, in the Caribbean, and elsewhere in Hawaii, and this was in my top five ever experiences. Kihei is a great base of operations for Maui exploration, and the Worldmark is reasonably priced, ideally located, and comfortable. I highly recommend!

Nice property in the perfect Kihei location!

Firstly, I had great communication with Tim prior to and after checking in. He was even able to accommodate a change in our reservation by adding in an extra day at the start of our trip. He was always quick to respond and overall a great host. The room was fine for our family of four. We had ample space to spread out or have time away from each other when needed. The beds were comfortable, and it is nice to be able to control the air temp in each room. The kitchen is well enough stocked to prepare meals, and everything is in pretty good condition. It would’ve been nice to have some throw pillows for the couch or chairs in the main sitting area. The balcony is large enough to fit all four of us, but your only view is the building next door, but we knew there wouldn’t be an ocean view, so this was fine for us. Be prepared for a very small stall-style shower in the main bedroom. I actually found it easier to shut off the water to soap up or shave, Plus, if you have multiple people getting ready at the same time, you will need to find ways to conserve the hot water (very short supply) and none of us took long showers. The second bathroom has a large tub/shower, so it wouldn’t have been an issue to just use that one. Proximity to the housekeeping building is great - it was very easy to walk across the parking lot to grab clean towels, sheets, extra toiletries, etc. Also, it is just a short walk to the pool area. The location is absolutely perfect! A short walk across the property to the beach, tons of shops and restaurants, and beach rental places if you need chairs, umbrellas, wake boards, etc. Lastly, I think the floors weren’t very clean since everyone’s feet were always dirty after walking around in the unit. I’m sure it is a near impossible task to keep the carpets clean with all the dirt and beach sand! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would return another time!

The all time best

Tim was a great VRBO host. I messed up my dates and he was able to take a call and help me work out a plan on short notice. The property was clean, well advertised with everything I needed in a great location. This is the place you want to stay - in walking distance of a ton of restaurants and shopping areas, either going north or south. We were able to walk to dinner nearly every night without using the rental car, and had some of the best dining choices on the island. Great, would recommend, A+++

Huge complex small busy pool.

We enjoyed our stay overall. We had lots of room for 4 adults and 2 kids. Suite was comfortable and decently clean. There is good parking and walking distance to the beach * if you aren't taking much with you. If you are planning a day at the beach with kids and end up in a back condo you'll want to drive. The complex is quite large and the pool is small and very busy. The views are less than ideal for most the buildings so we ended up going down to the beach for sunsets. Would definitely stay in Kihei again but would probably look for smaller condo complex with easier access to beach and better pool!

a nice replacement

Our reservation was canceled 0ne week before the starting date. Not funny! That's when Vrbo kicked in and provided us with 5 replacement choices and stayed with us all the way and reserved the replacement property we had chosen and even paid for the price difference of the new place, which was spotlessly clean and close to the beach and many nice restaurants and little stores. Just perfect! Thank you Vrbo and we will book with you next time again, that's for sure.
