We had a really great experience from beginning to end. The villa was well equipped, comfortable, convenient for both sides of the island (but we had a car for the short drive into Skopelos town), spotless and it was cleaned again mid-week. We swam in the pool every day, and had breakfast on the patio looking down the valley to Skopelos town every morning. There are a network of good running and hiking tracks straight out of the villa. We hired a motor boat from Skopelos and went right round the Island, stopping in secluded bays, swimming in the crystal clear water and of course stopping off at the Mama-Mia chapel. There are numerous restaurants for every budget and plenty of shops ranging from specialist butchers, fishmongers, bakers and grocers through to decent supermarkets. Dimitris could not have been more helpful with pre-visit admin and questions, and with his local team answering questions and offering advise even when Dimitris was himself on holiday. Is a six star review possible! Skopelos, VRBO, Kentavros and Dimitris

We spent an amazing week at the villa. It could not have been more perfect. The location is amazing, the island is beautiful and Dimitris was really helpful throughout the whole process. The only bad thing was having to come home!

a relaxing getaway

The villa is set up high in the hills looking down on Skopelos town. It is quiet, and in a remote location but with a car you are quickly in the lively town below. We had a wonderful holiday and do not hesitate to recommend the villa and the more than welcoming and helpful host, Dimitris, to anyone wishing to escape to an idyllic, peaceful setting.

Holidays at Kentavros villa

When we arrived, me and my husband, we were very anxious to see if the villa was as described. It was great to see that not only it was all true but another thing that made for us the difference was the fact that it had a personal touch, making us feel like home. Our stay at the villa was really worth it while we had a great time! The view was spectacular being able to enjoy the scenery of the hills and the sea beyond. It is placed at a very nice spot where you are completely private. We loved the walks around the area which is full of flowers, and trees of all types. The best feeling was that of being close to the nature, and yet so close and so away from it all. Sure we'll come back! D & D

very good

We had a great holiday in Skopelos and a lovely stay at Pegasus cottage. We were particularly impressed with the level of comunication with Dimitris and his team on the island and nothing seemed to be to much trouble. Our cottage was very clean and well looked after and the cleaning service excellent. There were great beaches (loved limnonari) and tavernas very nearby for those lazy days with just a book. Good restuarants (Rodi and Perivoli were our favourites-must book) all in all after the hustle and bustle of the UK this was a great holiday break. Issue with the wasps but am assured it was an excepional year for the blighters. Would I go back, one year definatly. Mike & Alison

Antwort von VrboOwner am 24. März 2020

Thank you both for your great comments!! The truth is that wasps come and go and this is the reason we put traps to minimize the worry. I hope to welcome you back soon!! Best of wishes to both of you, Dimitris

Slice of paradise!

We chose to spend our honeymoon at Villa Kentavros and it was the best decision we made (other than getting married!)! :-) it was so beautiful and romantic! We loved that it was quiet and peaceful. All you could hear were the goats on the hills and the insect songs. We enjoyed the pool every day, and backgammon on the beautiful terrace with a view. Dimitris was extremely helpful and welcoming. He helped us rent a car, rent a boat and enjoy the island to its fullest. We especially recommend Taverna Fotini, which is a 5 minute walk down the road. Mrs. Fotini is a great cook and a very sweet lady! We will really miss this special place and hope to be back soon! Thank you for everything, Dimitris!

Tolles Haus, hervorragender Vermieter

Fantastic holidays in a fantastic villa

My wife and me were already often to Greece and its islands during the last 25 years. But this time we found a real treasure. The very green Island of skopelos with a beautiful small Villa named „kentavros“. There - situated on the hills above skopelos-Town - you will find this perfect mediterranian-style house with an overwhelming view over the forest onto the Town and its Port to the sea. The size is right for 2-4 Persons and you find anything you need from a clean 4x7 Pool to a smaller kitchen with refrigerator, oven and other needful things - all in good shape. There is a large, open living room with several Sofas, a Sat-TV and W-LAN. As we are Germans we missed a German TV Programm, but that was no real problem, because we felt at Home there. If you need a calm and perfect residence for your Greek holidays with a nice small town nearby (only 10 minutes by car away - you surely need a car!!!) with lots of very good restaurants and nice shops and with an island with many beautiful beaches only few miles away - don‘t look any further!!! And the best of all: the very polite and gentle owner Mr. Dimitris Bessilas and his collaborators, Mr. Kosma and his family. If you got any problem, they´re only a phone call away and you can consider it done as soon as possible. From our arrival at the port with the ferryboat to our departure - everything was so well organized, that you felt welcome as a close friend. Everything was treated serious and fair, from the first SMS-contact before our holidays to the last moments when we returned the keys (with a deep sigh). For that we have to thank Mr. Bessilas and his helping hands again so much. We are sure to come back to skopelos, the villa „kentavros“ and it’s gentle people in the nearer future. ... by the way - all fotos you see in the advertisement represent truly the reality. You get what you see!!! We can only deeply recommend this object and its owner for your holiday. It were fantastic holidays in a fantastic villa. Traumhaft schön

We felt as if we had traveled in another time. We experienced wonderfully being relaxing, but also stimulating ten days in May in Kentavros. The villa has a great location with a marvellous view across Scopelos town and the see and is fully privatly. The house is equipped inside with affectionate and tasteful details, every 3rd day there was a cleaning service and new towels were provided. So we missed nothing. We enjoyed early morning cooling down in der pool and having breakfast on the sunny terrace with the breathtaking panorama. We smelled the herbs, blossoms and the warm earth and listened to the quiet bells of he mountain goats. Many monasteries invite to a visit, but also nice beaches as well as also the well-known Mamma mia rock. In the evening Skopelos with its numerours taverns offers many possibilities for he evening. Most particularly we thank Dimitris, who answered our many questions patiently and immediatly. We felt so good whole the time and can highly recommend the villa. Perfect location

We enjoyed every second in this beautiful and well equiped house up the hill of Skopelos town. Everything was even better than the impressions the pictures gave. The privacy, the beautiful view across the sea, the pool in the morning, which especially Our twp teenage kids enjoyed. Our favourite beach was Milia, which we could easily reach by car in about 15 minutes. We really liked to go out for dinner to one of the several taverns and restaurants by the sea and in Skopelos town. Our favourites had been Pavlos in Agnontas and Pervioli in Skopelos. Dimitris organized everything perfectly. His very nice Team provided towels and fresh bed linnen almost every third day and even cleaned the house. Thanks again to all of you. We can highly recommend the Villa for a stay in Skopelos. We enjoyed every single day of the two weeks and hope to come back soon.

Antwort von VrboOwner am 24. März 2020
