Das im Jahr 2000 erbaute Haus verfügt über eine Erdgeschoss- und Kombibauweise aus rustikalem Stein, Holz, Keramik und mit großen Glastüren. Es hat eine überdachte Fläche von 280 m2, T4 (mit 2 Suiten + 2 Bädern) Wohnzimmer mit Holzofen, im Schlafzimmerbereich einen Holzkamin aus Gusseisen und Zentralheizung in allen Bereichen hat Klimaanlage. Klimaanlage in der Master-Suite. Neben dem Gemeinschaftsraum befindet sich eine verglaste Veranda mit Panoramablick.
Es verfügt über sehr große Sitzbereiche im Freien und alle bieten einen außergewöhnlichen Blick auf die Stadt und die Berge.
Der private Poolbereich verfügt über eine große Liegewiese und ist ideal in die Landschaft eingebettet, da Sie einen fantastischen Panoramablick und absolute Privatsphäre genießen können.
Der Zugang erfolgt über die Autobahn A4 (Porto / Marco de Canaveses, 40 km) und die Fahrzeit beträgt etwas mehr als 35 Minuten.
Dies ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt, um die Stadt Porto und einige Städte im Norden wie Amarante, Vila Real, Guimarães, Braga, Viana do Castelo usw. zu erreichen. Alle liegen in einer durchschnittlichen Entfernung von 55 km und sind mit dem Auto erreichbar mehrere autobahnen.

Beautiful stone house on gorgeous, expansive property. Fireplace and wood stove made for very cozy ambiance. Stayed at the house with three friends and we were all comfortable with room to spread out or gather together in the lovely sunroom or family room. I would however suggest that you bring any supplies you may need such as trash bags, paper towels, tp, soap, etc. May also want to bring extra towels. Overall a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend if you are looking for a private retreat with with amazing views!

We had a fantastic holiday here and the villa was more than we could have hoped for. Alvaro gave us a very warm welcome and a tour of the villa despite our late arrival (10.20pm) and was even kind enough to let us know where we would be able to buy groceries along the way.The villa is very spacious, with lots of seating dotted around the place. The large glass doors across the front of the living area and the bedrooms really make it feel even more spacious. The villa and the grounds are completely secluded, so it truly felt completely private. The views across the valley to Marco de Canaveses are fantastic, both from the patio area and the large balconies outside all of the bedrooms. There is air con in the two largest bedrooms and ceiling fans in the other two.The pool and surrounding garden are very pleasant and we spent a large amount of our time either in the pool or lounging beside it, either in the sun or under the very well placed mature trees. Before we arrived we were concerned the pool might be a bit small based on the photos, but it was perfect, with enough room for the 5 of us without it feeling cramped.We had anticipated spending time walking around the grounds, but so much of the property is so steep this wasn't really viable. However it was lovely being surrounded by trees and wildlife.The only disappointment was the bath in the main bedroom, which has been decommissioned at some point and the taps removed.

Nice place with a lot of space for our family with 6 adults and 4 childen. The children loved the pool and the ping pong table and the adults appricated the the amount of bathrooms and the spacious house.

Fantastic Rustic Setting with Views of Surrounding Hills

This house was really unique for us for its rustic look and use of natural materials. The beds were comfortable, and there was so much space to relax including huge patio and cozy living room. It might be a bit out of the way from the main road, but it made it feel like a country escape. We had a great time.

Lovely country home

Country home very nicely designed for multiple couples or families, beautiful pool area along with other available activities. Kitchen and gathering/dining areas very well designed. Local restaurants, grocery and other stores close by. Owner Alvaro was very attentive without intruding on our privacy. We would certainly like to return in the future.

Great location. Large home suitable for families or friends. Well laid out property with views from each room. Very well stocked with everything you might need. Host went out of his way to ensure we found the property when we arrived late at night. Bed linen clean and comfortable, could do with an upgrade.

Rather a small manor than a holiday house

This house is rather a small manor in the countryside than a traditional holiday house - the location a bit difficult to find but when found what a place!! - situated on top of a very hilly terrain with a magnificant view from the terrace over the Tâmega valley towards Marco de Cavaneses on the other side of the river. Excellant equipped with everything you need. Host very kind and communicative about everything.

Tranquil setting, well situated, warm welcome

The house, gardens, pool, views and amenities were spot-on for our two-day sojourn in the Douro. The owner, Álvaro, was very welcoming and extremely responsive (in fact proactive) when there was an issue with the electricity during a massive rolling storm. We took advantage of the pool, outdoor grill and the splendid patio. If you go to Amarante for the day I recommend taking the old road (N210) on the return to Marco de Canaveses alongside the Támega, GPS will suggest many other routes but this one is worth the extra 5 minutes or so.

Portugal hills

The location of this villa is ideal if you want to separate yourselves from crowds and drink in nature and peaceful views. An absolutely perfect setting to gather with friends or family and enjoy leisurely meals while overlooking a beautiful valley. I highly recommend this place and the host. The host is quick to communicate and was a gracious host the five days we were there. Unobtrusive and but helpful. If you get that chance to stay here, do! You won't regret it.

Fantastic!

This home hosted a large group of friends and family for a week. There were five adults and three young children and there was plenty of space and activities to keep us relaxed and happy during the week. The location of the house was also very convenient- about 30-40 minutes from Porto, Guimaraes, or the Duoro River. Álvaro is a wonderful host, providing excellent support and communication throughout our stay. Highly recommend. One of the few VRBOs I truly want to return to.

Great views and plenty of space

Three couples visiting Porto. The house is nicely laid out for 3couples, the views and property are beautiful and we loved the character of the house. We did not know heat wasn’t included and we had to maintain fires in the fireplaces through the night. It is not walkable to shops and restaurants, the beds and bedding are old and worn and we only received one hand towel and one bath towel per person. Also note, you should be prepared to bring everything, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, etc

Super Lage, Natur pur. Check in mit Hr. Alvaro top. Einzig die Sauberkeit etwas verbessern und die Betten austauschen.

Toller Aufenthalt!

Wir waren 14 Tage im Juni 2022. Die Villa ist mit viel Geschmack eigerichtet und an einem wunderschönen und sehr ruhigen Ort gelegen. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und die Einmalige Aussicht auf die umliegenden Landschaft jeden Tag genossen. Der sympathische Eigentümer Alvaro, kümmert sich hingebungsvoll um das Haus und seine Gäste. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, was die Ausstattung angeht. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit. Wir kommen gerne wieder !!!

Great Vacation in Sobretamega

It was already our second stay in this beautiful house. The owner of the house was really lovely, very helpful and always easy to reach. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and we would love to go there a third time for sure! Ja foi a segunda vez que nos estivemos nesta casa. Foi mesmo maravilhoso. O senhor Alvaro é uma pessoa muito amavel e sempre pronto a ajudar.

Great holidays

We stayed there for one week and it was absolutely amazing. The house is located above the river, with enough space around it. You've got an amazing view, there is enough space for a big family. So if you are planning on doing a holiday with friends this house would be a perfect match. The owner is very friendly and is always trying to help.
