An awesome villa...get ready to be spoilt.

We had an awesome experience at Villa Rene. Well located near the beach (a few minutes by foot), lots of local shops and restaurants (you must try Crab Bar, Watercress & Hog Wild). As for the accommodation itself you can be rest assured it has everything you need. First of all air conditioning...you will need that, a pool (now that's special), great areas to laze around, televisions in lounge and bedrooms, chilled water dispenser, a stocked refrigerator and the list goes on.....The best prize of all are your wonderful hosts Wayan & Putu. They will meet your every need whilst staying at the villa. Not only do you get a cooked breakfast each morning they will also cook lunch or dinner for you upon request. If you have any need from laundry, food requirements, child care, house keeping, tour info or even to be chauffeured and toured around Bali they will look after you. The Villa is ideal for one or two families. We would go back in a heartbeat...Thankyou Wayan & Putu for a memorable holiday.

A wonderful holiday for Bali first timers.

The family, adult children and their partners, plus Mum, all loved Bali. Our trip was made extra special because of the villa, and most particularly the villa staff. The villa, the gardens and pool were great, secluded but well located for beaches and shopping. Most particularly we all agreed that Wayan, Putu and Mimi were beyond helpful and charming. Great cooks too!

Great stay at Villa Rene

My family and I (Mum, Dad, two grown up children + spouse + grandson) had a wonderful stay at Villa Rene over the New Year holiday. The villa is really homely and clean at the same time as having a luxurious feel to it - especially the outside area with the pool and bale. Wayan, Putu and Mimi looked after us really well, pretty much not letting us lift a finger! It was so lovely to be brought coffee while lying on a sunbed! They were also really good with our 1 year old boy, helping to look after him, running around after him and generally pampering him! We had friends staying in a nearby villa and had a party at the villa for New Year, not only did Wayan and the ladies prepare a feast for us, they didn't mind that we all jumped in the pool at midnight and carried on partying till 4am - they even brought out extra towels! Felt very sad to leave Villa Rene at the end of our time as it had started to feel like home and we'd had such a lovely, relaxing time. The only downside I would say is that you do need to get taxis everywhere, except perhaps for Belig Beach which is a 15 min walk, but not very nice - although we did like Mozaic beach club. I was nervous about taking our son in taxis without a car seat so we did spend a lot of time just chilling out in the villa - so it's a good thing we loved it!

This was our home away from home

Beautiful clean Villa with very friendly & helpful staff who were husband & wife Wyan & Putu. I liked how the pool was relatively shaded & comfortable with resident turtles & fish in the little pond. The pool fence around the house was a huge plus for me since I have an adventurous 2 yr old. The Villa had air con & fans to keep us cool & the complimentary breakfast was so tasty. They even provided Watermellon for us as that was my sons fave fruit. We ordered dinner one night at the Villa & the food was to die for. All of us enjoyed everything we ordered. I would definately recommend this Villa & even stay here again.
