Hoch oben auf dem Cotswold-Steilhang mit himmlischen Aussichten über die Cotswolds, ist dies die englische Landschaft von seiner besten Seite. Wenn Sie sich Snowshill nähern, sollten Sie auf jeden Fall auf die Cotswold Lavender Farm achten, sowie auf die entzückende Teestube und den Laden, der die Lavendelprodukte der Farm verkauft, eine interessante und informative Präsentation über die Produktion von Lavendel und die zahlreichen Produkte aus der Blumen und Lavendelöl. Die Lavendelblüten aus dem Juni und für einige Wochen machen die Pflanzenreihen einen spektakulären Anblick.

This was our second time staying at Apple Cottage and we loved it just as much as the first! It’s absolutely gorgeous both in location and interiors. The host has thought of everything to make guests’ stays perfect. We will be back again!

A month with a view

We loved our stay at Apple Cottage. The staff which supports the cottage were fantastic and so helpful. Interim house cleaning was much appreciated. Sitting on the terrace and looking at the hills, you feel like you are in a story book. So much to see and do from this conveniently located home. The gardens were spectacular. A perfect place for either 2 people or 2 couples. Thanks for a truly memorable stay! We hope to return to Apple Cottage.

Loved it!

We had a wonderful time at Apple Cottage. Can only think of superlatives for this wonderful stay: clean, elegant and tastefully decorated, fully equipped, delicious products in a welcome basket. The terrace with comfortable garden furniture and the beautiful spacious (!) garden with lovely flowers and apple trees, pond and various seating areas offers plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the silence and tranquility. Here you can experience the deafening silence which is hard to find nowadays. We have already booked our next holiday in Snowshill and that says it all.

Slightly disappointed

We booked this very last minute, it was a lovely building, it was tucked away off a at times fairly busy road. it was very clean, however the furniture showed its age, and was not at all comfortable to sit on. Unfortunately in the lounge dinning room when we arrived there was an overpowering smell of smoke from the log fire, which stung our eyess, we tried everything to clear it, sadly we were not and decided to leave one day early. I informed Cotswolds hideaways, but heard nothing from them. Overall its a place you either like or not, we felt that although it was in a wonderful position the level of comfort was lacking.

Our Home away from Home was amazing. We had a wonderful stay, Snowshill is a beautiful location and the home was so comfortable and welcoming. We arrived to a welcome package of all the essentials and more. Lati made us feel at home and was lovely. We planned to return again as we loved it so much

Enchanting Apple Cottage

Amazing property with the most incredible views! The cottage’s garden was completely enchanting with its own pond and wishing well. We could see the lush green hills and grazing sheep from our bed every morning. The property is exactly as described in its listing. It had everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. I can only hope we can return some day.

The Perfect Cottage in the English Countryside

Our stay at Apple Cottage was absolutely perfect! The cottage and surrounding gardens are straight out of a picture book and the location is perfectly appointed for getting to all the nearby Cotswold villages. When we return to England, we will definitely book it again!

Unmatched beauty in a Cotswold gem of a town

Honestly, even the gorgeous pictures did not quite prepare me for how stunningly Apple Cottage is situated in its tiny valley with sheep-studded hillsides stretching up around and birds seemingly everywhere. The back of the property abuts to the owner's beautifully terraced garden yard and pond. We saw many lovely little Cotswold towns during our stay, but none were as beautifully situated as Snowshill -- my son could hike for scenic miles from our door every morning, yet nearby Broadway was an excellent resource for anything we needed. We certainly hope to return.

Cottage is very well suited for 2 couples sharing.

I cannot fault this cottage. The only minor thing was the lack of a good coffee machine :) Beautiful garden too, but the set could do with a bit of paint.

Lovely cottage in idyllic location.

This is a lovely, comfortable cottage in an idyllic location. It's just a short walk a lovely pub; The Snowshill Arms and within short driving distances of traditional & charming Cotswold towns. To add to this National Trust properties and a steam railway are nearby. The cottage itself is extremely comfortable and boasts DVD / Blu Ray players for watching your favourite films whilst sitting in from of the log fire. A very generous welcome basket was provided on arrival which was very much appreciated. Overall a really lovely cottage.

Apple Cottage in the Cotswold's

I can't begin to describe the most wonderful place to stay. I wouldn't change a thing about the cottage. If you look up cozy in the dictionary there would be a picture of Apple Cottage. I'm on my way home to start to save up to come again. Maybe next year we could spend Christmas at the Cottage. When I die if I get to heaven, it will be in Snowshill.

Perfect!

We stayed at Apple cottage over the new year period, and I want to give a big thank you to the owners and the caretaker. The cottage is heavenly! We arrived at dusk and the lights were on, the cottage warm and cosy, and the Christmas lights all lit, a big welcome basket of goodies and milk and fresh orange in the fridge, what a lovely welcome! The cottage itself is very spacious, big bedrooms with huge comfy beds and soft bed linens. I couldn’t wait to get into bed every night! The kitchen is really well equipped, dishwasher tablets, foil and cling film all provided, it’s a lovely space to cook in. The views from the cottage are amazing, even in winter, golden dawns and orange sunsets and pure peace. I can’t tell you how peaceful the cottage is. And a pub in walking distance! Come here if you want to relax, it’s a world away from our usual hectic lives. Oh and it’s immaculately clean, I only wish I knew how to shine a tap like the caretaker of this lovely house!
