Very spacious and private

Stayed here for 2 nights, and the location and space was ideal. The owner of the property gave us an extensive tour and made us feel at home from the get go. Will definitely look into staying again in the future!

Lovely for families

Worked excellently for our large family with plenty of bed space and a lovely large garden. Hosts were very hospitable and very good communicators. Beautiful neighborhood just off the main road and very near to supermarkets and train station. Would gladly stay again.

Nice location, arrived and found out no coffee machine in the house, and bathroom door was not working properly, we had very good communication with the host, had a new coffee machine arrived and the door was fixed in a day or two.

Great location as we were working at Herts county showground (10 mins away) the shower was the best I've been in (radio, multiple jets from all angles), hot tub, sauna loads of space for the 10 of us who stayed, great big table for the team to sit round and the local pub and Chinese were fantastic. Overall a great place to stay for a team of marquee erectors and i would imagine a great place to stay for anyone in a large group. 10/10

Perfect for our family gathering!

Really great space both downstairs and upstairs with lots of bedroom space for 15 of us and masses of space and a large dining table and lots of seating downstairs. Really enjoyed our stay.

Large Eclectic Fun Property

This is my third time staying at this Luton property, my friends use it as it’s ideally situated and easy to get. We will most like stay again in the near future. I really enjoy seeing how the property gets slowly improved over time. Very happy and would definitely go back.

We had the best time

We stayed for 2 nights to visit the Harry Potter studio Tour. The house had great space room for us all to spend time together. The Hot Tub was a was the highlight of our stay. Would deffinately stay again in the future.

Wedding weekend

My entire immediate family stayed at the house the night before my Luton wedding. We all had fun living and laughing like the Waltons ahead of my big day. There are countless rooms, showers and a good size family bathroom. I would definitely recommend staying at the house that truly has a 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' feel!

Family Get Together

Our stay at the property was fabulous after not seeing us altogether for two years. The property is large and as there were 12 of us, we did not feel on top of each other. It was, I would say, quirky and as long as you don’t worry about perfection , it was great. The owner was very prompt with any requests. The addition of the hot tub was much appreciated. Location was great, opposite a public golf course and the Luton Discovery Centre

Great Host, big house and lovely stay!

Wow what an amazing stay we had! The host was exceptional. Greeted on arrival with lovely vibes and smiles a long with complimentary ice In the freezer for summers day drinks, good amount of toilet rolls, bin bags and very very well cleaned throughout the whole property. The garden was exceptional and we really made The most of this on our stay, despite some rain we enjoyed a small garden party and the garden and downstairs reception area is perfect for this. We celebrated a 30th birthday with close friends coming together and it was perfect. The property so was much larger then expected and had all the necessities - plus lovely big strong showers, amazing fridges, cooker and all other amenities! The bedrooms were also great for large groups. Such a laid back and lovely feel to the property and made even nicer by a lovely host. Thank you for a great stay! We knew after the first 15 mins of being at the property this venue would be getting 5*’s

Nice big house with plenty of room and large garden. The house could do with updating, but it was fine for us for the weekend. We weren't told that the gates lock at night, but called the owner who opened them for us.

Not worth it!

AVOID. Firstly, I was asked to send a “cleaning deposit” (payable on the day of my booking, outside of VRBO) after I made an inquiry about how many cars could fit on the drive… I had four drivers coming. They then decided that I was having a large party and that there would be mess and canisters. They hadn’t told me how to get into the initial gate. I tried calling the host but they didn’t respond. I was later told that the woman was rude to my guests trying to get in, when she finally answered the intercom. Once we had settled in, I got a phone call from a woman screaming at me to “get my friend off the counter, it’s not a chair” as one of my friends was sitting on the counter. Her tone was extremely rude and this made me feel as though we were being watched, which made me feel uncomfortable and on edge. They called me at 1am pressuring me for the cleaning deposit, which I felt I had to pay for fear of ruining the day. Once again, VRBO states that payments should not be made outside of their platform. The upstairs master shower leaked into the living room. When looking at the ceiling around the leak, there is a clear history of water damage. I believe that they have had problems with a leak before and have either painted or replastered over the ceiling without addressing the leak. I put a few towels down as the water was minimal and the cleaners were coming shortly after I left. On my way home, I got a phone call from a host for a minor issue. She then called back to say that the hallway was flooded. I found this a bit hard to believe as the leak was minimal and if this was the case, they would have mentioned the flooding first. I asked for video evidence, which I have still not received. I was travelling when I got numerous calls, texts and voicemails from different numbers and withheld numbers. This continued to the point of harassment. I was getting calls from people I’d never spoken to and got a call from someone claiming to be Andre but had a totally different voice from the ‘Andre’ I had spoken to previously. They said that everything was fine, I should have put pots down instead of towels, I had no complaints from neighbours and I’d get a 5* review and they’d be happy to have me again. This mirrors the other negative review. They have now charged me for damage to their laminate flooring due to an “unknown solution” . This is a scam, which I will be reporting to Action Fraud. There is something very strange with these hosts!

Ok Unfortunately there will be guests that will take advantage of our goodwill and I am sorry to say this is one of them.After finding a leak coming from the ceiling they sought to use towels instead of pans which caused alot more water damage to flooring. The guest left without mentioning the leak from the ceiling. The host rang when they found the leak and further calls were made by the owner who had problems getting through to the guest which he then realised was because the guest chose not to respond. The lack of communication from the guest allowed a leak to cause alot more damage which was reported to VRBO. The plumber then gave a report that there were no leaks. His report clearly states there appeared to have been a water fight.

Honestly if I could give 6 stars I would! This property was amazing for the occasion, the house is spacious with so much outdoor space. Above all our expectations. As well as this the host was amazing, made sure all requests were done and made sure the whole time we were all comfortable and okay! I will definitely be returning here.

HORRIBLE

I was questioned about my age more than once even after disclosing how old I was Host was extremely unprofessional! I was in the bathroom when she had called me so I didn’t answer, she then told someone to tell me I should've carried my phone with me. The way she spoke to me via text and over the phone was completely out of line ,at the end of the call she said I should have my phone to my hip at all times!! 5 minutes after that call she called again to question why the garden light was on and I kindly explained I was smoking as per the rules you can only smoke after 10 but she was still extremely rude! No matter what happened you should not speak to anyone who is paying for a service like they are your child and you are telling them off and like you are doing them a favour! She needs to adjust her attitude and get crisis management and customer service training! She ruined my stay there! I regretted staying in that house! The owner kept mentioning giving me a 5 star rating which I was not happy about! I will not recommend anyone to stay there! I WANT A WRITTEN APOLOGY FROM HER!!!

A group of 7 us stayed at this property overnight and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The garden is very large and since it was summer we were all able to sit outside and chill. The rooms were very comfortable with fans in some of them. There was WiFi and we didn't lack for anything

Friendly, helpful and welcoming.

A fantastic, warm and welcoming reception right from the start which is a huge plus when renting for a night or a week... There were a couple of niggles experienced but nothing that we could not work around given it was only a 1 night stay so these were not referenced back to Jeanette, the owner, who is charming. A lovely garden, ample room in the property for us to enjoy the birthday celebrations we had planned and thoroughly enjoyed.

Thanks for your feedback John. We have since made a video to show how the jacuzzi style bath/shower taps work. Also location of the kitchen lights. How to light the fireplace. Look forward to seeing you and your lovely family again.
