Mein Haus liegt nur 800 Meter vom Strand und dem Fitzgerald Marine Reserve entfernt. Entspannen Sie auf dem Oberdeck mit Blick auf den Ozean und beobachten Sie die Wale und atemberaubende Sonnenuntergänge bei einem Glas Wein. Ein zweites Deck im Erdgeschoss verfügt über einen Whirlpool, eine Feuerstelle und einen Grill.
Vor Ort finden Sie Segeln, Kajakfahren, Reiten, sowie viele Wanderwege. Das Hotel liegt nur ein paar Kilometer von dem Mavericks Surfing Contest entfernt. Half Moon Bay ist 7 Meilen im Süden und San Francisco ist etwa 20 Minuten Fahrt.

Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet für Ihren Komfort mit Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine und Trockner, Kamin und 60-Zoll-TV mit Kabel und kostenlosem WLAN. Die Küche und die Badezimmer wurden kürzlich mit Granitarbeitsplatten und Holzböden renoviert.

Master-Schlafzimmer hat ein Kingsize-Bett und Vollbad, 2. Schlafzimmer hat Doppelbett und 3. Schlafzimmer hat Etagenbetten gebaut. Ein zweites Vollbad befindet sich neben dem Flur und wird mit Schlafzimmer 2 und 3 geteilt.

An der Straße parken 2 Autos.

Ich wohne in einer Wohnung über dem Haus. Es hat einen separaten Eingang ohne Zugang vom Haupthaus.

My group of four ladies had a fantastic weekend stay! Clean, orderly lodging. I got the top bunk, very comfy. Weather was on the cool side, we all took full advantage of the hot tub. Charming property, beautiful yard with plants. Loved the ocean view from the top deck. Quick drive to downtown half moon bay. Even faster drive for breakfast at The Pilot Light!

Kathy and Jennifer were very responsive to all my communications and solved any issues that came up. The living spaces and outdoor space were comfortable and spacious. The hot tub was easy to use and very peaceful. There is good food nearby as well as an abundance natural beauty. It’s an easy drive to San Francisco the airport and the beautiful coastal communities.

Family Xmas rendezvous

Clean and well kept. Comfy beds. For our needs, a great way to have both common space as well as separate space. Was cold and rainy weekend…so good furnace and hot tub were appreciated.

Lovely home near the beaches

We loved this property! It was nicer than the pictures showed. The living room had lots of comfy couches and the wifi was great. If you have an adult on the bunk bed, our lady found the bottom bunk a bit soft but that's a personal thing. Loved the back yard and hot tub - very nicely done up out there!

Amazing views

Cute beach style house, unfortunately it was raining our main day there so we couldn’t check out too much of the beach and woods area but it cleared up enough for us to checkout the tide pools which were spectacular. Master bed was a little uncomfortable but no bed is as comfy as home. Owners gave great instructions and the hot tub was warm so didn’t have to wait to heat it up. Perfect house for a family getaway or just friends to hang like us!

Good, convenient, and comfortable stay.

We had a lovely weekend at this property. It was conveniently located with great amenities and comfortable rooms. However, one aspect that had a marginal impact on our stay was the presence of the owners (or possibly other tenants) staying in a separate area upstairs, which we were not expecting. This might be fully disclosed in the listing and we simply missed it. While the upstairs occupants were completely respectful and minded their own business, we could still hear them through their windows, which made us a bit self-conscious about using the outdoor amenities. As a result, we ended up spending more time indoors than we had planned. Despite this, the place itself is fantastic, and we would highly recommend it.

Celebrate birthday

The property was very nice, but I had a few issues with the property and the owner. There were rats at night in the back yard next to the hot tub, and the driveway was very steep. I also learned that the owner is living on the second floor of the same building. I booked this property for 6 people, but we ended up having 3 extra guests. The owner then let me know I was required to pay an extra $300 for them to stay or my reservation would be canceled. Also they could not stay more than one night and had to leave by 11am the following day. We had an entire extra day that our guests are not aloud to stay, so we ended up all leaving a day early at 11am with no refund.

Unfortunately, this is a retaliatory review because Dat brought 4 extra guests than the maximum occupancy and then had more guests on the property without permission the next day. They were sneaking guests and luggage on the property through the side gates. We also do not allow parties which is clearly listed in the VRBO rules. They left confetti all over the house which caused excessive cleaning. We can not recommend Dat to VRBO hosts.

amazing stay and location

We spent almost a week with family visiting from abroad. We had a great time. We enjoyed the kitchen space a lot as it was greatly equipped with all the tools to prepare a full Christmas menu. The sofa and the armchairs were so so confortable. The hot tub and the view were a real treat. The house was clean, however cleaning can be improved in spaces like kitchen cabinets, under the beds or in the corners harder to reach. Overall a great experience. Definitely recommended.

Peaceful Getaway

Our family of 5 was very comfortable at this property. Check in/out was easy. Property looks exactly as shown in the pictures. The neighborhood is very peaceful, great for a relaxing vacation. Best part are the amazing views of the ocean and a quick drive to the beach. Thank you!!

Nice quiet place in Moss Beach

Excellent house in a quite neighborhood. The property was very clean and exactly as described on the website. The beach is about a 20 min walk but there are other options 5 to 10 min drive away in Halfmoon Bay.

Amazing!

This house is amazing! Between the two outdoor sitting areas, the fire pit, the hot tub, and how comfortable the inside is, you never have to leave the house. But if you choose to, there’s a lot of fun activities within a short distance.

Fantastic stay, great views, lovely house and a superb host

This stay was a quasi-"stay-cation" while our (wife and self) home was undergoing a remodel. It could not have been a better arrangement. The spacious house (three bedrooms) is easily accessible from BART and San Francisco (<10 miles to BART), has great views, has interesting places (state park, restaurants, a small store) within walking distance, and is a quiet and comfortable place. The patio, fire pit, etc. are great extras. There is a dedicated driveway for parking, and a small deck atop the house from which to view the ocean and whatever birds might be around or residence. The host, Kathy, is responsive, helpful and an all-around wonderful woman. For those not from the Bay Area, there is ample shopping in Pacifica and Half Moon Bay, a wide variety of restaurants in the area, and a stellar number of county parks and preserves to wander. Suffice it to say that we and several guests wandered a redwood preserve and saw whales and flights of pelicans at a state beach, all within three hours. Sad to say, the tine there was all too short, but it is a great memory. We were spoiled. We cannot recommend the property and owner highly enough.

After finishing school, I moved to Oklahoma where I raised two beautiful daughters, worked as a RN and had a great life. 43 years later, I decided to move back to my home state. My daughter introduced me to Moss Beach, and I immediately fell in love! I enjoy traveling and staying in vacation rental houses around the world. I feel very fortunate to be able to open up my home for others to experience the coastal area.

I fell in love at first sight with Moss Beach and the coastside. I bought the house and never looked at another. The ocean views and deck had me sold from the get go, and I love it just as much now as I did on the first day I saw it.
