A lovely place to stay
The house is in an excellent location, close to the main routes to St. Malo, Dinard, Dinan and Mont St. Michel it’s a great base for exploring this beautiful area. On the edge of a business area (you don’t notice it as it’s still a really quiet location) there’s a Super U a short walk away and a really nice Patisserie just across the road. The house itself is large and delightfully furnished, comfortable and of course has the excellent pool and outside areas.
There are a couple of niggles though, we couldn’t find a kettle and when we asked the owner about it we were told that they use the microwave, not ideal for making a cup of tea let alone a cafetière of coffee. The hairdryer didn’t work (cold air only) which was a nuisance for the girls. We didn’t get a good nights sleep as the main bed mattress was much too firm and the bed itself creaked and groaned extremely loudly every time you moved.
All very small problems but given the amount we paid for the house it means that I can’t give it the 5 stars it deserves. That said it is a lovely house and we all enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.
