The house was perfect for our family of nine people (7 adults & 2 children)to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday. She loved having an elevator. The house is beautifully decorated with lots of space for gathering. We loved watching the sunset from the deck. We also loved the secluded location, but if you are planning on eating in Galveston be aware that it is a bit of a drive. We did not utilize the beach club, but went to the public beach instead.

This house is even better than the photographs. Perfect for our large group of 8 adults and 5 kids for a Thanksgiving get away. Wonderful!!

Heaven on Bay was such a beautiful property! Clean, comfortable and would recommend! We had 9 children and 7 adults and never felt overcrowded. We rented golf carts to get us to and from the beach.

We had the most incredible stay at this beach house! Traveling with nine kids is no small task, but this home had absolutely everything we could have possibly needed and more. From the spacious, well-thought-out layout to the fully stocked amenities, it made our trip both relaxing and fun.The location was perfect—steps from the beach and with full access to the resort, which kept the kids entertained for hours with games and activities. Everyone had space to spread out, yet we could all come together in the beautiful common areas to enjoy meals and time as a family.The house itself was spotless, comfortable, and designed with families in mind. Every detail was thought of, which made it feel like a true home away from home.Our stay was phenomenal, and we made memories that will last a lifetime. We can’t wait to come back!

Relaxing weekend and quality time with family and friends

This house was perfect get away for the weekend. We had a wonderful time with friends and family. This house has everything you can just imagine and mostly our kids enjoyed the hot tub and the ping pong table. We bbq and later did s’mores. We also got the access to the pool and beach club that was very much worth it. I would definitely want to come back again 😀

Amazing property!

Our family of 13 (grandparents, parents and grandchildren) had the most amazing time here! House is more beautiful than the pictures! Mai is the best host and is always there to offer suggestions and help if needed! You really can’t ask for a better house. One side is on the bay and the beach and pool club is a short ride away. Recommend highly!

Got the Fam' Together for Labor Day

Our extended family got together to celebrate one of our brothers' 50th birthday and Labor Day. The house is amazing—beautiful location, beautiful house, beautifully taken care of and equipped. The beach club is great and they definitely have the best-cared-for beach in Galveston. And Mai was super helpful, responsive, and thorough in making sure we had a great stay. Book it now—you won't regret it.

Thankful Thanksgiving!

The 14 occupants spanned 3 generations from three different states. There was enough space for everyone, and the perfect setting to enjoy fellowship all week long. We took advantage of the crabbing, the games, the firepit, we used it ALL. We were disappointed that the hottub only worked one night, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

So happy that you ‘thoroughly enjoyed our time there.’ I was also disappointed that the heater of the tub was broken during your stay, and even worse it happened on Thanksgiving Day after you checked in on Sunday earlier of the week. We, Tom and I, both together immediately called our serviceman 3 times but unfortunately, we could only leave him a message. He did come back later to fix it the following week. Rhodes Family Vacation

This was the most beautiful house have stayed in and we have stayed in a lot of homes in Galveston. The best part of our vacation other than our family was the owner. Mai is the most attentive owner we have ever had the pleasure of working with and just because of her we would rent that property again. She was amazingly helpful in every way and checked in on us just to see if we were having a great time or if we needed anything. This was by far a 10 Star vacation and 10 Star ownership. Thank you Mai for everything.

3rd Stay Here with Large Group of Friends!

Honestly this sums it up perfectly. This is our 3rd stay at Heaven on the Bay with the same family groups! We honestly love everything about the property! Open spaces for all to hang and visit. Bunk and play room to keep the kids occupied! Each bedroom is large enough for each of us and the extra twin bed room is now great for the 13 year old of the group. The property is a quick ride to the beach club and beach and only 30 minutes into downtown Galveston. We are already talking about next summer to make sure we book again!

Best vacation EVER!

This home is the nicest and cleanest vacation home we have ever stayed in. Mai was so amazing at communication from the moment we booked the home until we checked out. You cannot beat this location. Bay on one side and the amazing beach club and beach on the other. The home is GORGEOUS and has everything you could need! They literally thought of everything from beach gear to crabbing supplies. The kids rooms were PERFECT for a large group. All of the master bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, nicely decorated and clean. I cannot recommend this home more highly! We will definitely be back again!

Perfect home for a big family/group

Gorgeous house and enough room for everyone. House layout is perfect to escape in case rest in needed. All amenities are top notch. Mai and Tom are beyond helpful and informative, not a single glitch in the entire process. We will definitely be staying here again. We had 3 toddlers so the room with the great bunk beds was perfect. House is on the far west side of the island to keep in mind, and no elevator. Quite a few steps leading to the front door but once you arrive and see the view of bay all is forgotten. Heaven on the Bay is the place to stay!

Truly Heaven on the Bay

We stayed here for a ladies retreat weekend. It was PERFECT. The layout is ideal for any group and has ample areas for together time as well as areas to spread out. The decor is impeccable. You will feel like you stepped into a design magazine. Mai and Tom are the best hosts and I have utilized many rental properties. Their customer service is off the chart. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. If you're looking for a beautiful home, away from the crowds, with all the special fixings this is your home! Did I mention shuffleboard, foosball and air hockey too?!?!

Elegant Beach Home with Great Views

We were the first families to stay at this property and found it to be extremely elegant, spacious, well-equipped, clean and warm. The bay views are incredible and the house sits in a quiet area (of an already quiet Point West). Everything has been considered in the furnishing of this home - the kitchen is particularly well equipped for cooking large meals and general hospitality. The hot tub, propane BBQ, beach chairs and wagon are a particularly nice touch. The kids loved the upstairs bedrooms and the game and Netflix equipped TVs in every room. The adults didn't see them, at some points, for several, wonderful hours :). Three moderately sized families can easily stay at this property and have ample space/privacy. Really a fantastic getaway.
