Spanish Cove Holiday Apartments are a cluster of seaside holiday apartments located in the pretty town of Kilkee in County Clare. Important Note: There are steps up to all first-floor mezzanine apartments in Kilkee. Please note that the mezzanine bedroom is open and overlooks the living room area, therefore this bedroom would not be suitable for children.

Kilkee is a popular holiday town with a number of great cafes, restaurants and pubs plus a large range of activities for all age groups. Seafood pubs and restaurants dot the coastal route, which is steeped in history.

IMPORTANT NOTES
1. Heating and Electricity:
This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
3. Towels:
Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge. Please contact our Call Centre or the Property Manager to arrange (you will find the Property Manager's contact details at the Arrival Info document sent to you in the final payment confirmation).
Please note that the hotel next to our holiday apartments is currently under construction so occasionally you may experience noise related to construction activity.
No guest under the age of 25 can book a Holiday Home. Guests under the age of 25 must be accompanied by at least one person over 25
Cancellation policy
On all reservations:The non-refundable booking deposit is withheld.
Cancel within 8 weeks of arrival all monies paid are retained

Spot check on cleaning would be a good idea ( sheets were unclean on 1 bed & hairs on blanket ) sand on bedroom floor in the same bedroom

Happy with our experience
Great location. Plenty of room.
Kitchen could be better equipped. I had to buy tea towels. A cafetière & clothes horse would be a good addition. Decor could be updated!

An excellent quality location for fresh sea front location. Untouchable.
Location is key here. Wild Atlantic for my stay as was a stormy week. However I like to sit quietly and listen to the sound of the sea. Fabulous for that, hence my review.
No coffee pot, oven did not seem to work but happy to overlook the lesser things.

Its a dump!
If you like dirty worn out carpet, mop and bucket in the kitchen, vacuum under the dining table, chairs on top of the table, extra fees for towels and heat, corroded front door lock then this is the place for you. Booked for two nights, left after one, this place is terrible!!!!!! Leaky shower, lights burnt out, dirty, filthy Windows.
