Property is spacious, clean and has everything you could possibly need including great views from the sun terraces.Bars/restaurants at the port are great and a 20 minute walk away (all uphill on the way back but taxi’s and free parking also available).

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased you found the property clean, but we are disappointed that several comments do not accurately reflect the property or the circumstances of your stay. The shower is a standard-size shower and was working correctly, including the drainage. The property also has a second bathroom with a large bathtub. The lounge television was working, and the bedding is new. We have not previously received complaints about these facilities. We are particularly surprised that none of these concerns were reported to our Agent during your stay. Had you informed us at the time, we would have been happy to investigate and resolve any genuine issues. Instead, these matters were only raised after you had left, when we were no longer able to address them. We would also like to clarify the circumstances of your arrival. Your flight was diverted and you arrived after midnight. Our Agent waited for you for more than two hours, well past the agreed check-in time, so that you could be personally welcomed and given access to the property. A €50 late check-in/waiting charge applied for this additional waiting time. We understand the flight diversion was outside your control, but we believe this context is important. We always welcome genuine constructive feedback and strive to provide a good experience, but we also believe reviews should fairly and accurately reflect the property and service provided.

Summer Break - August 2022

Great apartment, spacious (comfortable for 2 Adults and 2 Teenagers), clean, well equipped and situated in a lovely, secure development. 20 min walk down the hill into the port and a 7 euro taxi back up after 😉🍺 Paul was a great help, excellent communication for check in and onsite and contactable at any time to assist with any questions or issues you may have. Highly recommended.

Amazing

A perfectly located apartment for a peaceful base to explore the surrounding area and beaches. Modern, clean, comfortable, and with the most spectacular breathtaking views over the mountains, fairways and the ocean. So peaceful. 2 large welcoming pools on your doorstep with plenty of sun loungers, set in pristine maintained gardens. Property manager Paul on site to welcome you and on hand if any queries, very friendly and helpful. Owner also highly responsive making the booking process very smooth. Would definitely return. Thank you.

An enjoyable break

This is the best apartment we've ever stayed in. (We're both in our early 60's and travelled far and wide!) A well kitted out kitchen, a bathroom and seperate shower room, two large (bordering on huge!) bedrooms and lounge. So much space. Oh, and two balconies - one at each end of the apartment. So it never mattered where the sun was. Morning, afternoon or evening - you could always find it. One had a view of one of the two pools, the other a view of rolling hills and the sea (and two of the local golf course greens!). Highly recomended.

The best place to stay!

Absolutely beautiful, modern, spacious, and clean! Beautiful views from the two balconies is an added bonus. We can’t wait to go back. Paul was a very helpful, gracious host. As other reviewers have mentioned, the apartment complex is located at the top of a steep hill. It is an enjoyable 15-20 minute walk from the apartment down to the bottom of the hill. However, if you are carrying groceries, or if it’s hot out, a taxi ride (approximately 7 euros) is recommended back up the hill. The largest/best grocery store we found was Mercadona. We found that the Uber system did NOT work well in the Duquessa area. The Uber app would repeatedly cancel pending rides. Instead, the taxi system worked best for us.

An excellent little Gem in Manilva

From booking through to departure by far the best and most comfortable experience we have had in the Manilva area and we visit multiple times per year. Paul met us at the apartment on arrival and gave us clear and concise instructions on how everything operated. The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable with the added advantage of a brand new kitchen. Furniture and soft furnishings were to the highest standard and we had everything that we needed for our five week stay. Communication from the owner before, during and after our stay was first-class. Sadly we had to leave early due to current lockdown. We would have no hesitation in recommending this little Gem to family and friends in the future. Easy walk to the port and well placed parking area in the garage with lift directly to our door. Big thanks to Steve, Paul and Dawn for making our stay so wonderful.

Clean modern apartment in well run block

Spacious, bright and clean apartment. Well recommended. Heating and air con work well, lots of hot water and great water pressure. About 10 mins walk to a small square with 4 bars. Bit too far to walk to the marina (as the walk home is up hill), but a very quick drive down and to lots of nearby supermarkets. Pools are all clean, the life guard larger pool is only open on specific days, but the pool right outside the door of this apartment is always open and heated (only slightly though, so still cold in April!).

I love the idea of having a place in the beautiful Costa del Sol where guests can relax, enjoy the sunshine and escape from the everyday routine. As a host, I want my guests to feel comfortable and at home, whether they are visiting for a golfing holiday, a family break or simply to enjoy the wonderful Mediterranean climate.

I believe that a great holiday is about more than just accommodation; it’s about feeling welcome, having everything you need and making lovely memories. I take pride in offering a comfortable apartment where guests can enjoy their time in southern Spain at their own pace.

My local agent is available to assist guests during their stay, and I am always happy to answer questions before arrival. My aim is to make every stay as smooth, enjoyable and relaxing as possible.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

Duquesa Fairways is a wonderful place to enjoy the relaxed lifestyle of the Costa del Sol. I love the combination of beautiful golf-course surroundings, Mediterranean sea views and the peaceful atmosphere of the residential complex.

The location is ideal for guests who enjoy golf, sunshine, beaches and exploring the local area. Puerto de la Duquesa marina is a short drive away, offering a lovely selection of restaurants, cafés and places to enjoy an evening out. There are also beautiful beaches and plenty of opportunities to discover the surrounding towns and villages.

With its mild winters and sunny summers, this part of southern Spain is appealing throughout the year. Whether you want an active holiday or simply somewhere to unwind, Duquesa Fairways offers a lovely base for enjoying the best of the Costa del Sol.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

What makes my apartment special is its two balconies, each offering a different outlook: one overlooking the golf course and the other overlooking the communal swimming pool. It’s lovely to enjoy a morning coffee outside, relax in the sunshine or unwind after a day exploring the Costa del Sol.

The apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a recently refurbished, fully equipped modern kitchen, making it suitable for couples, families and friends travelling together. The living area includes a large TV, while central air conditioning and heating provide comfort throughout the year.

Guests can also enjoy the residential complex’s communal facilities, including two swimming pools, one heated and open all year, a children’s pool, hot tub, playground and barbecue area, subject to availability and community rules.

The private parking space and lift access directly from the car park to the first floor add extra convenience. Above all, I want guests to enjoy a comfortable, relaxing stay in a beautiful part of southern Spain, whatever the season.
