Strandblick - Kingsdown Holiday Park

Das Beach View ist ein malerisches Chalet im Holzhausstil in einem Ferienpark im beliebten Dorf Kingsdown. Sechs Personen bequem schlafen, gibt es ein Doppelzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett und ein Zweibettzimmer im Obergeschoss, zusammen mit einem WC und Waschbecken.
Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich ein drittes Schlafzimmer mit Etagenbetten, ein Badezimmer, eine Küche und ein Wohn- / Esszimmer mit offenem Schnitt. Das Chalet ist komplett mit TV ausgestattet; DVD; DVB-T Power-Dusche; Ofen; Kochfeld; Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler und ist komplett mit allen Utensilien und anderen Gegenständen ausgestattet, die Sie für Ihren Aufenthalt benötigen könnten. Bettwäsche und Handtücher können ebenfalls ausgeliehen werden.
Auf der Rückseite gibt es eine schöne Terrasse mit Grill und Esstisch, wo Sie essen können, während Sie die atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Küste genießen.
Vorne genießt das Chalet einen bezaubernden Blick auf den Ferienpark und nebenan befindet sich ein gepflegter Kinderspielplatz. Vor Ort ist auch eine Bar / Lounge; Unterhaltungszentrum für Kinder; Tischtennis und Tennisplätze.
Leider sind keine Haustiere im Park erlaubt.

The host was friendly answered any queries l made before.My family of four with teenagers enjoyed the holiday home.It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was great that we had extras touches like biscuits and tea bags etc.Also games, books and dvds.

The location amd facilities onsite are brilliant. The accommodation is small but worked well for us all. We had a small issue while there, but it was sorted out really quickly. The only negative was the cleanliness of the hut, especially the bathrooms.

Wonderful stay

The property was amazing, very comfortable and clean. Location was brilliant with the view of the beach. We had a terrific time. The pool was brilliant and the activities on site were great, we had a great game of crazy golf. Have recommened the property to friends and family

Superb location, brilliant stay

We had a fantastic stay with 4 adults and our baby. The location of the site and chalet are super. The view from the rear terrace is great all day long. Would recommend the chalet for families and friends.

Lovely chalet. Everything we needed and more. Beautiful outside seating area with view of the sea. The holiday park is well-run and has a nice atmosphere with guests respecting each other. The swimming pool is excellent and the other activities also fun. It's really well situated for many points of interest. Definitely great for English Heritage membership. Dover Castle is impressive with so much to do. Good places to eat out too.Our host was friendly and easy to communicate with and gave us very helpful information about all the facilities. Definitely would recommend.

It was great I would book it all over again.

Renting this property was quite easy I really enjoyed my stay there especially with that beautiful sea view from bedroom and window and the rear Varanda and even better communicating with the owner she was really warming and helpful .

Very nice stay

The house was exactly what we expected. Tiny but not too small. All the kitchen applies were available, so you can cook an outstanding meal. The property was an overall great experience.

Seaside gem

Our stay at Kingsdown was magical. These chalets are a wee hidden gem close to Deal. Number 19 is clean, tidy and decorated in a modern "scandi" way. Reanne was a fantastic host. I couldn't fault our stay and would highly recommend visiting.

Happy customers

We had a fab time , the chalet was great. Super impressed with the kitchen everything you could need was there. It was great to sit out on the decking and be able to see my daughter playing and listen to the sea . The facilities on the park were good. Felt very safe here and the staff were very friendly. Hope to return soon.

Convenient property and clean. Covid safety a priority

The property is convenient to Deal with a pleasant walk along the coastal path. 3 pubs in close proximity in the village. The view outback with decking looks over the channel. The kitchen is well equipped.

Absolutely stunning

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The sea views were amazing and the fact that the beach was in walking distance was even better. The on site facilities were good to have access to, though we preferred to explore our surroundings instead. Supermarkets were within 2 to 3 miles from the accommodation which was handy. The people on the grounds and in the local area were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be revisting.

Lovely little property

Not ideal for tall people like my 6ft3 partner but it’s quaint and cosy. Bed not very comfortable either but it was only a place to sleep in we spent a lot of our time out exploring. Overall a nice stay.

Great location

This property was in a lovely location close to good beaches and lovely places to eat. I was however, somewhat disappointed by the cleanliness and overall maintenance of the property. The sofa was badly stained and extremely uncomfortable. The curtains were falling apart, the decking at the back was broken in places, the bathroom floor was dirty and the mattress protectors were stained. There was even a mouse in the property.

I’m very disappointed to hear that the standard of the chalet was not good enough. I will raise issues of cleanliness with our cleaning team. As for the mouse, the chalets are set within fields so at this time of year it is extremely hard to block even the tiniest hole that a mouse could get through. Obviously we do take steps to stop them from accessing the chalet and we will review the situation. We are aware that areas of the chalet need refurbishment and time and money has been set aside this year to do these things as soon as we possibly can. If you would like to return to the chalet in the future we would be happy to offer you a discount as a gesture of good will.

Great little place but unfortunately the cleaning company let it down

Over all we had a nice time at the property the facility’s were good. We did play table tennis and visit the pool also we used the on site shop. The cabin was well equipped with everything you could need but unfortunately the cleaning was not up to scratch. Spare bedding was yellow we found body hair in the sink and what appeared to be pubes in the largest bed. When we first got there the kids ran in to open all the doors to explore, they happened to open a closet next to the stairs and it was full of mouse droppings and extremely dirty so had I of had a baby or a small child I would have been extremely worried. I did email the owner and ask if she was aware of the lack of cleanliness and she didn’t bother replying. I will probably go back but not to that cabin just because I didn’t even get a reply to my email.

I'm afraid I have received no email from you or a message on VRBO about the cleanliness at the chalet as I would certainly have replied to you immediately. This is the first time I have been made aware there was a problem. You also had my mobile number and two mobile numbers for the cleaning company so they could have come straight out and rectified any issues at the chalet for you straightaway. I do point out in my welcome email to all guests that if there are problems with cleanliness please contact either myself or the cleaners straightaway during your stay so action can be taken. There is little we can do to make the situation better once the guest has checked out. Again, please accept my apologies for the cleanliness at the chalet. I just wish you had called me when you arrived.

Das Haus ist super, gut geeignet für 5-6 Personen, gut ausgestattet,direkt Meerblick, Einziger Nachteil ist, dass der Spielplatz direkt neben dem Haus ist, wodurch es nicht so leise ist. Aber dadurch für Familien super geeignet.
