Eingebettet in den Wald, bietet dieses luxuriöse Kabine die perfekte Wochenende für 6 Personen. Es befindet sich in Tahoe Donner auf einer angesehenen Straße, die ruhig und eben ist.  Die Kabine wurde geschmackvoll mit Stein aktualisiert und Teppichböden.  Im Erdgeschoss ist ein großer Raum mit einer voll ausgestatteten Küche und einem Gas-Kamin, zwei gemütliche Schlafzimmer und ein Badezimmer.  Die Küche ist aus Granit und eine vollständige Palette von hochwertigen Kochutensilien. Es gibt einen großen Flachbild-Fernseher, Apple TV und High-Speed ​​Wi-Fi. Im Obergeschoss befindet sich ein großes Schlafzimmer mit Bad.  

Unser Whirlpool ist sicher, dass Sie nach einem Tag auf dem Berg zu entspannen. Die Garage für zwei Autos mit überdachten Gang hält Sie und Ihr Auto auf nassen und verschneiten Tage geschützt.

Great family vacation! Hot tub was great. Kitchen was great. Lots of useful kitchen amenities such as pots pans, coffee maker, toaster, etc. 30 minutes to sugar bowl and Northstar.

Relaxing Tahoe Donner

Had an enjoyable stay here with my family and dog in the winter. Good location, quick shot to downtown Truckee and local ski slopes, as well as nice neighborhood with snow lined trees and low traffic streets - great for dog walking. House is well suited for the snow, not many steps, covered walkway from car. Inside has plenty of amenities, warm fireplace, and a master suite separated from the other bedrooms. Hot tub was nice too. Host was responsive and price was good.

I wanted to stay here for 4 nights with my family for Christmas here. Unfortunately we decided that was not going to work after having a bunch of issues. First off was the internet didn’t work and the jacuzzi. Last straw was there was mice poop, mice urine marks and nice hair all over the comforter fro the bed upstairs. We notified the host right away we are not staying here and left the next day. Host contacted me back raising his voice at me and was very rude in cutting me off and not allowing me to talk. Would recommend do not stay here. House is very dingy and dirty even though he said it was cleaned it sure didn’t seem like it. Also host downplayed everything and said a mice must of snuck in from the storm. I don’t care about that excuse at that point there’s no way I’m sleeping in that bed. To top it off behind the headboard was a ton of spider webs along with webs throughout the home. This home is not cleaned well. I couldn’t believe how rude the host was too me as I had him on speaker phone and my whole family heard how he talked to me and they all were amazed at how rude he was. Now trying to get a refund and he is stringing it out and saying I have no proof when I do have proof. What a joke

Great location and a lovely house

My family and I stayed in this house for 6 days after Christmas and over New Year. We were very comfortable and warm - hot showers, great fire in the lounge and general heating. The kitchen was well stocked and the garage was empty for us to park our car (very helpful as a lot of snow came down!) We would love to return 😊

Nice cabin in TD

Everything we needed for a good home base while skiing. Comfy beds, nice linens, clean bathrooms, well-stocked kitchen. Interesting art on the walls, books and games, cozy fireplace, hot tub for star gazing from after a day out on the mountain. Simple, clean, and driveway was cleared early each morning by a snow blowing company. Thanks Lars!

Lost in Nature

The forest as your backyard, what more could you want? Lars' place was so quiet, peaceful, and had everything we could ask for. There's lots of room inside, has a very cozy feel, and the BBQ is amazing (best I've ever used), which helped since we grilled every night we were there. We stayed in the summer and it was an easy drive to Lake Tahoe, or any of the places to see, would love to stay again.

Lovely stay!

We had a lovely time staying at this charming clean cabin. The host was clear and responsive to our questions and helped us settle into the cabin quickly. Their gas fireplace was cozy, the beds and couches were comfortable, and their private outdoor hot tub was the icing on the cake. Although we didn’t cook, the kitchen had everything you’d need. The location is close to a supermarket, alot of restaurants, and Truckee’s downtown. The host allowed us to a lot of their snow toys/equipment which entertained our children and we had good family bonding time playing with their well stocked assortment of board games. We had a great stay and would highly recommend!

Great house and host

The house was great and so was the owner-Lars. We were surrounded by a wall of snow so we didn't see the grounds outside of the house but the pathway to get in and out of the house was clean and so was the path to the hot tub. We had an issue with the internet connection and once we contacted Lars he quickly tried to fix it. The kitchen was beautiful and included what seemed like a brand new stovetop. I was there with my husband, mom and 3 month old and there was plenty of space for us. I'd stay again if I were to go back up to Truckee.

Comfort stay

I had recently stayed at the Tahoe Donner house with families and a dog for the our last summer getaway. The house of location is close to Truckee downtown, Donner lake and Donner Pass where I usually take kids for swimming and hiking. A outdoor hot tube right in front of the front door and faced out to open back yard was perfect for afternoon relaxation. My 17yr old dog loved the open pathway directly connecting from the it backyard, we walked almost 1miles twice a day, I did not mind going out with my pajamas, it feels like l own the whole open space 😆. There are so much good thing about the house, of course fully equipped kitchen, many many linens &towels available , comfortable beds and board games for kids. I will looking for coming back next summer, maybe this winter.

Not terrible but not fantastic

My husband and I stayed in this cabin for our anniversary, the location was excellent and the home was clean other than a couple huge spiders in the showers. The hot tub was great once we were able to heat it up from eco mode. I was disappointed in the lack of patio furniture and the teeny BBQ, we had to cook our corn and steaks separately, but the kitchen is fabulous!!! Very nice oven and plenty of dishes and amenities. The Best part was the kitchen-the worst was the mattresses. My husband said plywood would have been more comfortable, bring a mattress topper if you want a cozy sleep. The owner was very kind and responded quickly with info or answers.

Would love to rent again!

This house was great. The kitchen flowed very nicely, the bed upstairs was very comfortable, heating was powerful, the fireplace was very easy to use, and the hot tub was probably the cleanest I've ever been in! Fantastic pick for a family with small children as they had step stools and other random things for you to use. The reason for the 4 stars rather than 5 is because the cleanliness of the house wasn't the best. There was moldy mayo and salad dressing in the fridge and quite a lot of spiders. Additionally, the lock on their sliding door is missing altogether. This was concerning to us, from a safety standpoint, but given how safe the neighborhood is, we really didn't have any issues. It was more of a mental thing that we worried about. Would def stay here again, we appreciate you hosting us!

Lovey Tahoe Donner Stay

Great value for money and just as advertised (apart from a change of bed in the downstairs bedroom - from single-over-full bunk beds to a full bed, which was a little tricky for us as we required four separate beds so our three kids wouldn’t have to share, but with extra mattresses available and the help of the owner, we navigated this so it didn’t cause too much trouble). Overall, the rental was spacious and comfortable for my family of five with some modern touches and amenities added to the traditional rustic decor. It was our first time in the Tahoe Donner neighborhood and we loved the proximity to Truckee and Woodward and the accessibility to the private beach and pools with the guest passes available - although the additional per person charges do add up for a larger group! The owner was very responsive to any questions and queries and the only real issue we had was the heat at the time of our stay. The downstairs bedrooms were fine but the upstairs was uncomfortably hot even with two fans going constantly. A couple more fans in the home might be advisable for future hot weather. On the whole, it’s a lovely quiet neighborhood - although there’s not much privacy out the back deck and in the hot tub when the nextdoor neighbors are out on their deck in the evening and at at weekends. We did really enjoy our stay though and recommend this rental.

Good location

Spacious for our small family of 4. Nice kitchen to cook in. Enjoyed the fireplace. Could have used another easy chair, and better lighting. We would return.
