Chalet mit zwei Schlafzimmern für Selbstversorger auf einer gut gepflegten Anlage. Das Chalet verfügt über ein Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und ein Zweibettzimmer. Clean chalet with everything required for our short stay. Personally I wouldn't want to stay for more than a few nights as, being 6'4" , I couldn't get comfortable anywhere. But that's just me. It was perfect for the few nights we stayed there however!

This is a great base to explore Widemouth by foot. It's a 10min walk to the beach and you can take 2 different routes - down the road and coast path( our preferred although traffic can be fast) or the path from downhill of the chalets which was a bit less distinct. We had a lovely time, the site was quiet despite being first week of summer hols. The chalet was great and even had a sharp knife which is unusual and very much appreciated.Thank you

Widemouth bay holiday village

The chalet was very clean and tidy. The holiday village was surprisingly quiet but that came to our advantage as we could use the swimming pool, sauna etc to ourselves. Widemouth is beautiful and have is the ideal platform to travel wherever.

Host was great with the communication before our stay. Excellent little accommodation for exploring all the best beaches in North Cornwall. Chalet was basic but cosy and had most things we needed other than no iron and no Wi Fi connection, phone signal was non existent but was actually nice to escape all the tech and shut off for a few days. The pool was great and we went in there every day of our 3 night stay. The pub and bar were a nice addition and had some kids entertainment, music and bingo on the evenings during our stay which our 5 year old enjoyed and there was a little climbing play area for him too. Food was also served in the pub which was OK but maybe a tad overpriced. For supermarkets and stores, a short drive to Bude was needed this was less than 10 mins drive away from the accommodation. We visited Widemouth bay beach which we drove just a few minutes to which was beautiful with a little cafe which served Gluten free baps. On day 2 we visited a beach in Bude called Summerleaze beach which was stunning with soft warm sand and crystal clear waters, we collected some lovely rocks and searched for creatures in the rock pools, really pretty beach and Black Rock beach was right next to it which also looked beautiful. On our drive back to the chalet, we pulled up in a lay by and admired the views from above the cliff edges, stunning. I was sad to leave and hope to visit again soon and would not hesitate to stay at the same property again.

So pleased you enjoyed your time at the chalet and managed to enjoy the facilities at the site and discover the surrounding area. Unfortunately phone signals are temperamental at times, the site owners are investigating the possibility of installing WiFi on the site but due to the position its proving difficult. I will look at providing an iron and board for next season. Widemouth Cafe is one of our favourite cafes too!! Hope to welcome your family again in the future.

Check in was very smooth. Nicki responded promptly to any queries. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen including sharp knives, which is a rarity! Very comfortable beds and lovely linen. Nice quiet site with plenty of life up at the bar

Lovely stay at Widemouth Bay Holiday village

A lovely little chalet, with everything you need for a stay. Clean, great communications. The holiday village itself is much improved since our last visit 13 years ago and our 6 year old granddaughter loved spending hours in the pool! It’s also perfectly placed for exploring wider North Cornwall

Lovely Stay

We had a lovely stay in the chalet. Great location, only a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach. The chalet had everything you may need for a staycation, and the complex was great, our two young girls thoroughly enjoyed the pool! Only a 10minute coastal drive to Bude. Amazing communication from the host and the check in process was very easy. 100% recommend, and we will be back!

Amazing half term break!

We have just returned from a truly lovely holiday to North Cornwall. Nicki was a great host - communicating about the property clearly and promptly. She recommended several brilliant places to eat nearby - La Bocca pizzaria deliver to the holiday village and were delicious, Elements Italian restaurant had great atmosphere and views but best of all was Widemouth Manor hotel, a short stroll down the hill from the chalet. We saved this for our last night and the food (and sunset) was excellent. The chalet itself was perfect for our needs - we were on the beach for most of the week so it was great to have somewhere within walking distance. It was also spotlessly clean when we arrived! All in all, a superb place for a half term break with children. Highly recommend booking!

It is in a good location in regards to Widemouth Bay but it is not easy to get into Bude in the evening as it can be hard to get taxis and this can make eating out difficult also. We found that the best places to eat were Elements and Widemouth Manor Hotel. The views however are fantastic of the sea from the holiday village! As a couple we found that there wasn’t much to do within Bude/Widemouth Bay as it is very quiet and everywhere closed at 10.30pm. This might have been different if the on site facilities were able to be open if it wasn’t for Covid. Other people on the site were friendly and chalet was good value for money! If you want a quiet break where you want to surf etc and not keep too busy then the chalet would be perfect.
