This property is fantastic and the photos/listing don’t do it justice! It’s a little slice of heaven in wine country. On a small picturesque vineyard, the backdrop is already set for a perfect stay in wine country. The landscaping in the back yard is gorgeous. The house is very clean and comfortable, and had ample space for our group. It’s located a stone’s throw away from many great wineries in Healdsburg, making tastings super convenient. The host was kind and gracious and sent all the information needed ahead of time, making the check-in process seamless and the stay go smoothly. We would definitely book here again when back in Sonoma!

I had a group of 10 people staying at Zoella Vineyard for my birthday and the place was so perfect for us. The house was massive and had tons of amenities and games. We got to stay at this property and use it as a great post wedding brunch for a few of our family members. It was one of the best decisions we made about the wedding because we got to reconnect with so many of our friends post wedding day! Amazing wine country stay!

We had a group of couples (with a few children) stay at this property, and it was fabulous. Very well stocked with all sorts of amenities and games, beautiful grounds, and right in the middle of the Alexander Valley wine region - with world class wineries next door. Great summer weekend at a lovely place

This place was lovely and enjoyable for all three generations in our family! The host was exceptionally responsive and quickly answered all questions and took care of an issue we had. Beautiful house and perfect location

We rented the house to celebrate my husbands birthday and family joined us. The house has a wonderful layout for adults and children. The house was very well stocked and the owner, Marisa was incredibly responsive to all of my random questions. The house is about 20 minutes from town which was perfect. We will stay again!

Everything we needed. Good for families. Master bedroom offers privacy from the rest of the bedrooms. Make sure you have a sober driver if you intend eating in town. The location is in the middle of wineries but it’s a drive to and from town. The trade off is plenty of room, a nice pool, and plenty of privacy

Fabulous Girls Weekend location

We loved our stay at Zoella! Plenty of room in the bedrooms, living areas, kitchen and outdoor relaxing zones… ten of us stayed comfortably. Lots of kitchen space for preparing food, setting it out, eating etc. The outdoor areas are spacious and very private. We especially enjoyed the hot tub which was relatively quick at heating up. Everything was very clean. We had a great time in the game room getting some fun competitions in. The location requires driving to stores and restaurants but the location is quiet and very close to great wine tasting and in the middle of beautiful vineyards.

Fabulous property and place to vacation!

We had an excellent experience with this property. The only glitch was that when we arrived, we couldn't get into the house. The owner sent over an assistant who also didn't have access to get in, so had to find a window to climb in an unlock the door. Apparently the housekeepers had locked the door so it couldn't be opened from the outside. The owner was gracious enough to have given us an early check in, so other than the stress of the experience it didn't ruin our day. I would stay here again. I believe this problem was a one-off glitch.

Thanksgiving week in Healdsburg

The home is very nice and the grounds are beautiful! We spent Thanksgiving’s there so we cooked many meals. I would not call the kitchen a chef kitchen because the appliances are of very poor quality. The coffee maker didn’t work. The kitchen had some supplies but lacked some basic stuff like aluminum foil, saran wrap. There were huge spiders everywhere, they really need to have a pest control service. A complimentary wine tasting was offered then cancelled the day of and then rescheduled at a winery that I don’t think anyone would like to go to. It was a very disappointing experience. There is no access to the creek behind the property as stated on the home’s instruction book. There is no place to walk from the home. Bring all your food because there is no grocery store close by and getting to town takes 20 minutes and it’s not the easiest road to drive. The house was very pricey for the quality of the stay! I would not stay there again.

Hi Ricardo, I’m surprised to hear you had a less than stellar experience. I appreciate the feedback and will be implementing the improvements you mentioned. It is a rural property so I understand if there were some spiders at the exterior of the home. As you know, I did purchase extra kitchen items for your stay as you were staying over Thanksgiving week and I went back and forth with your wife in the weeks leading up to your stay and actually purchased each item she requested and made it very clear I would be happy to provide any other household/kitchen items because as I told her, if it was an item you felt was necessary to adequately cook a large meal, then I was certain future guests would be appreciative to have the kitchen stocked with those items as well. Again, I was very clear through the whole process that I would provide any additional items needed but now seeing your review this is all news to me. I apologize you didn’t enjoy your complimentary Wine Tasting that I arranged for you over the holiday week, I’ve had nothing but positive feedback about Viszlay until now, as it’s a picturesque setting with delicious wines and the owners themselves made themselves available to accommodate you. Again, I am shocked you have negative feedback, but would love to host you again and would love communication in real time in the future so I can fix any and all items you have issue with at the time, so you can enjoy every aspect of your stay.

Beware of this property manager - canceled on us the day of

We are three generations of a family who booked this home for a family gathering over Thanksgiving. Booked it well in advance. I realized on the day we were driving up that while I had a confirmation letter, I didn't have directions on how to check in. I called the number and got voicemail. Within an hour I got a cancellation from the property manager - this was two hours before we were scheduled to check in. Her reason - fire damage from the fires that hit Healdsburg in late October. That fire was fully contained on November 6th. This was November 29th. Any damage that might have happened she could have told us about three weeks earlier - instead of canceling the day of. I drove by the house, it was fine. The grounds were fine, the house was fine (there was a car there). Some homes down the street had some damage. The property manager after a few calls claimed it was the pool that was damaged. It was 40 degree and raining that weekend - no one was going to use the pool. I book all of my family vacations through VRBO and have never had such an experience happen. This property manager should not be allowed on the VRBO platform - which prides itself in trust between renters and home owners.

First and foremost, We are so sorry your experience. This is the first and only time we have ever had something like this happen. As you know we experienced one of the most devastating fires in California history in late October. The fire burned through our road and miraculously our home was one of the houses spared. With that said many others were not that lucky. With the housing shortage already bad before the fires many were having trouble finding homes even for temporary use so we made the decision once our home was professionally cleaned from smoke damage to offer it to some fire survivors who needed it last minute. Our neighbor had severe fire damage and asked to stay at the house while their house was repaired. There was so much damage in the region and so many homes were damaged or lost that county wide we were all doing our best to provide help and shelter to those affected. As you know, when we realized we needed to cancel we looked tirelessly to place you at another property, including one of the highest end hotels in the area, Hotel Healdsburg, but you were not agreeable to it. I hope you see the effort put forth on our end, as we set your group up with one of the best employees at our sister property, Christopher Creek Winery, the day of the cancellation, where your group received a VIP wine tasting while we worked to find you a replacement property. We attempted several times that day, and many times since, to reach out to you and make this situation right, but you haven’t answered our calls or email. We would love to make this situation right and leave you with something positive out of all of this. Please let us know how we can remedy this for you.

Weekend at Zoella with dogs

Recently stayed with my parents, sisters, my wife and our two dogs. Property is as pictured. The grounds are beautifully landscaped; roses, hydrangea, walnut trees, in the middle of a well developed vineyard. The backyard is fenced with several gates allowing easy in/out. There was only one gate that had a gap large enough for our 10lb schnauzer to sneak under- the yard was entertaining enough she never tried. The lab preferred the walks snaking through the vineyard. Would not recommended dogs that dig staying here- the yard is fully landscaped. The property feels like it was developed with love and has custom touches throughout. A point not showcased- the house has three bedrooms. The master with the enormous bathroom and two rooms with queen beds that share a bathroom. The main house has a 3 rd bathroom off the kitchen, near the laundry room. (Laundry soap stocked) The second two bedrooms are above the playroom garage. From the kitchen you walk down a long hallway, through the garage and up the stairs. For our group were we are up early with dogs so we were able to get up and walk the dogs, make coffee, etc without waking the rest of the house. The game room was great and the door opening allows for a great indoor/outdoor space if it rained. There are also 3 doors between the game room and kitchen- which I would guess would help limit the noise from traveling. Property management was available and responsive. We would stay here again. On the critical side... The pool furniture had some tears, my guess they will be replaced next summer. There was only one umbrella. It would have been nice to have more shade. The kitchen tools were not great. 4 pairs of scissors but no mixing bowls. The cookie sheets were well loved and used. They did have a kitchen aid mixer and vita mix blender and that can make me forget allot of things.

Lovely!

My friends and I stayed here to celebrate a bachelorette. There were 9 women total and we fit comfortably in the house. The house is gorgeous - surrounded by vineyards, and a beautiful garden. The driveway made it feel extra special. Everything was clean and comfy, including the beds. We loved spending nights in the hot tub and lounging under the pergola. The kitchen was well stocked and made breakfast/snacks a breeze. Only thing to know is that Uber/Lyfts are hard to get so make sure you have a DD or pre-scheduled transportation.

Beautiful property

We stayed for my husband's birthday. We had several couples come with us and we had a wonderful time having out by the pool, cooking together, and drinking lots of wine. My only caution is to watch the step by the hallway that leads to the washer and dryer. One of our friends slipped on it because the lighting there is extremely flat, he couldn't even see that there was a step. We bought some black tape to outline the edge and make it safer for the rest of our stay.
