Great hosts, locations and amenities

Old world charm and gracious hosts attentive to details. The location within Saint-Remy is perfect. We were lucky to have been there for a trifecta of events: the fantastic weekly Wednesday Market, the annual April 30th Festival of lights and the May Day Flower Festival. All within 24 hours making the stay truly memorable. Saint-Remy is a joy and a great location for exploring Provence. Thank you Gilles and Patricia.

We had a wonderful stay at Gilles apartment. Completely stocked and furnished, it had everything we needed for our 10 night stay. The onsite parking was a big plus and the central location made it easy to travel around to various Provence locations. Local restaurants were amazing and we became particularly fond of Pauls Boulanger, which was a short walk from the apartment. We even became localized and took the bus roundtrip to Avignon. Very easy and convenient….

Provence perfection

While many listings fall short, this home exceeded all expectations for our week in Provence. St. Remy was the perfect location for our daily travels to nearby towns. We had first rate grocery and wine shops within 10 min walk. We met neighbors that welcomed us into their homes and evenings. The home itself could not have been more Provencal, warm and inviting, active during the day and quiet at night. The kitchen met all our needs, the bath/laundry refreshing, and bedroom overlooking the backstreet. Our hosts provided everything we could need, welcoming and allowing us privacy. We would return and stay for a month, if our travels permit. This home and locale made our South of France adventure something we will always treasure.

Wonderful vacation house

From the moment we booked the property we were impressed with the prompt and thorough communication from Gilles and Patricia. Upon arrival, Gilles met us, got us set up with parking and provided an in-depth introduction to the area and workings of this wonderful 400 year old home. Tons of old French charm with just the right amount of modern upgrades. It’s so easy to be comfortable in this house. The location is perfect. Saint Remy is an excellent base location from which to explore Provence. Gilles and Patricia are the perfect hosts; close by and willing to help with any needs but never intrusive. We look forward to coming back again!

Provençal charm and convenient location.

We loved our stay here for several reasons: the apartment (which actually felt more like a house) was charming, spacious, thoughtfully decorated, and very clean; while the location could not have been better, on a quiet street in the heart of St. Remy, with easy walking access to virtually everything. The free parking was also a convenient plus.

Charming stone house in ideal St. Remy location!!!!

My husband, daughter, and I spent a week in Patricia and Gilles' property! It had great beds, a great bathroom and shower, a well-equipped kitchen, a perfectly convenient location inside the historic city center........and best of all, it had a nearby dedicated parking spot.

Perfect location to explore Provence

Perfect place and wonderful hosts

You could not ask for a better location than this property. If you plan to enjoy Saint Remy and it surroundings this home is where to stay. It is in the center of town but off of the main streets so you can be close without all the noise or traffic. There is a parking space provided which is a huge bonus. Absolutely perfect location and the hosts are such nice people. Book this house for longer than you're thinking.....you won't want to leave.

Great location in St. Remy

A perfect spot to explore St. Remy - within the "ring road" so you can walk everywhere. Landlords Gilles and Patricia are delightful and very helpful and will do all they can to make your stay enjoyable. Kitchen is fully equipped and wifi is great. Bathroom has been redone with great shower and washer/dryer. Lovely for 2 adults or family with 2 young children. We would definitely recommend this property.

Great Old Town location

We had a great 5 night stay in Gilles and Patricia's charming and well appointed two level apartment in historic stone building. Location is perfect (easy stroll to all parts of the old town, with private parking nearby), air-conditioned apartment is comfortable and quiet, and St Remy is a good base for exploring Provence. The wifi was patchy, but with so much to see this was only a minor issue.

Perfect lodging in St Remy!

My wife, my son, and I stayed in this beautiful little home in picture-perfect St Remy. The place has lot's of history; Gilles told me that it was 200 years old. But it is very clean, and has all the modern conveniences needed to feel at home and comfortable. We were able to check out the the market on Wednesday morning, and it was fantastic. Staying in St Remy was pretty much the highlight of our trip to France this year. I can't wait to return!

The perfect place for our St. Rémy stay

My sister and I stayed in this lovely property for our week long visit to St. Rémy and the surrounding area. We had some travel delays, and Gilles was very accommodating with the unfortunate change of plans. The house had everything we needed for a comfort table stay, and much more! The location is great! The boulangerie is just a couple of minutes away on foot. It is very close to shops and restaurants. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and comfort. I definitely recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed.

Perfect Stay in St Remy

The owners, Gilles and Patricia were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is fully equipped and had modern comfort with a touch of ancient character and charm. The location for enjoying St Remy was perfect. Having a secure parking place at the end of our daily explorations of Provence was also nice. So easy to walk to whatever we need or wanted to see in the town center, especially the Wednesday Market! Many thanks again to Gilles and Patricia for making our first trip to Provence so special. Hosts & location couldn’t be better.

Our hosts were lovely and very helpful during our stay; they helped with countless tourist questions and also provided us with a wonderful personal experience. The location couldn’t have been better, situated within the walls of the beautiful old town of Saint Remy. Everything about our September stay was wonderful; being able to walk out to all tourist spots, restaurants and the twice weekly markets was heaven. Saint Remy is well placed for accessing all of the hillside towns you would hope to visit whilst enjoying a month in Provence and our hosts provided secure parking for our rental car, not an insignificant plus given parking restrictions. Thank you Patricia and Gilles for making our stay so memorable.

A wonderful home in the heart of Saint Rémy de Provence!!

We had any absolutely lovely time in the very charming home of Gilles and Patricia. The home is perfectly located and provides everything that one could want for a lovely stay in this gorgeous ville, and it is also ideally located to visit virtually any place in Provence. If you at here, you will want to come back, as we do, again and again. And don't miss the astonishingly large and fascinating archeological site just out of town, called Glanum. A true home away from home

The house has so much charm every day people stop out front to take pictures! In addition it’s a wonderful place to experience Saint Rèmy. The location is fantastic, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is large (specially for a location in the center of this beautiful village), there’s a washer and dryer and the kitchen has everything you need to settle in and cook some of the wonderful fish, vegetables and cheeses you’ll find at Saint Rèmy’s famous Wednesday market. And in addition to all of this, there are Giles and Patricia, who were so attentive, helpful and simply extremely nice and welcoming. It was a wonderful stay.

We had a fabulous 9 days and nights at this two-story house, which is situated in the pedestrian quarter in St. Rémy de Provence, one of the most beautiful village with easy access and a dedicated parking space nearby.. This was our second stay/, Gilles and Patricia are wonderful people and always ready to help when we needed guidance, and when I needed to see a doctor they quickly arranged for me to see their own excellent physician the same afternoon. We recommend choosing this charming maison for all these reasons and we can't wait to stay there again on our next trip to Provence!
