Vielleicht möchten Sie an jedem Wochentag die Kauai Sunshine Markets in einer anderen Stadt besuchen, um frische, regionale Produkte für Ihre von der Insel inspirierten Kreationen zu erhalten. Nach einem 5-minütigen Spaziergang in die historische Stadt Hanalei gelangen Sie zu mehreren nahe gelegenen Restaurants, in denen Sie Sushi, Pizza, hawaiianisches Mittagessen und Live-Unterhaltung auf Hawaii genießen können.

Location and stay was great. The dishwasher, the fan in the kitchen and some ant issues need to be addressed, but otherwise a perfect spot close to the beach and town.

Half way between the beach and town

The cottage was a great place for my family to stay for a week in Hanalei. Once we parked at the house, we didn't use our house again; we walked to the beach and walked to town. It's a great central location that's quiet.

We rented items from Babylicious (Kauai baby rental company) for kid and baby related items. The steep stairs right outside the front door made us nervous and we had to keep the front door closed at all times so our baby wouldn't fall down those stairs. There is not AC, although with fans blasting and windows open we were comfortable. We enjoyed staying on a quiet street where we felt like we were locals. Easy walk to the beach and the main area in the town for dining and shopping.

Awesome Hanalei Stay

We loved this rental! The kitchen is very well equipped, the bed is very comfortable, the living room is great to hang out in. The place was clean and had all the beach toys we needed. The location is perfect! It's almost exactly half way between 'town' and the beach. It's an easy to both. Hanalei is a great town! The beach is amazing and we loved the creative food trucks. Make sure to visit Holey Grail Donuts! We found the staff at Kauai vacations very responsive, friendly and helpful.

The house is perfectly located within a three minute slow walk to town or a five minute slow walk to the beach. If we didn’t have to attend an event in Princeville, we would have never moved our car.Being just the two of us, the house had plenty of space. We love the outdoor deck in the back and sat there many mornings. The house feels very roomy, and I love the huge shower in the master bathroom.It’s an extremely relaxing environment, and I enjoyed hearing all the different birds wake up with the morning sun.Alicia is so very kind, even when I had a rather silly question for her.We cannot wait to return and hopefully that time will come very soon.

Get a working Dishwasher

Dishwasher doesn’t work. Outdoor shower is not private and the neighbors are always out working in their yard. Not the best experience to be on display for your neighbors. Safety issue for young children in the yard. Cockroaches found a number times in the kitchen. Floors felts dirty. Shower curtain falls when you want to shower inside. First bedroom is very hot. SUPPLY MORE FANS.

Authentic homestay in Hanalei

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely home in the heart of Hanalei. The interior is decorated with an authentic Hawaiian vibe. They layout is very nice, large kitchen and cozy living room with A frame ceiling. The outer porches attached to each of the rooms are very nice. The only drawback is this house is in a quite local culdesac and the sound from the house echoes outside. We were having a lovely family dinner on a Saturday night with our family (8 of us around the kitchen table) and a neighbor came up to our door very upset about the noise and was very rude. It was not late in the evening so definitely made us a little paranoid about our noise level for the remaining of our stay. I get the sense the neighbors do not like this house being a VRBO rental.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have booked through KVR for the last 30 years, this year we needed a smaller house. The location was exquisite, quiet and close to the beach. The beds were comfortable and the large fans will be useful in the summer. This location was the least supplied of all the other times we have rented, few older towels for shower, sparse mismatch decor and kitchen outdated and not enough cookware to make cooking at home an option which is a reason that we rent a home. Only one set of dishes required cleaning after every meal. Scratched teflon cooking pan feels unhealthy and no baking sheet made things challenging. It was very quiet at night and the neighbors are nice. The smaller bedroom did not have a closet to store or hang anything. The noisy construction in the early morning was disappointing. Kauai is heavenly and we spend most of our times outside and we have stayed at some fantastic places that felt like home. KVR makes the process easy and we will continue to work with them.

Great location

Great location. Mattress is very uncomfortable though. But everything else is great. Roosters willl wake you up too early but that is Kauai for ya. Perfect right between beach and town. Would stay here again.

Perfect place for a private honeymoon

The location is perfect, nestled just far enough away from the town and main road that it’s quiet, but everything (including the beach) is a couple minute walk away. The vegetation surrounding the house gives privacy from the neighbors. The pictures do not do fully capture how spacious the interior is, and the Hosts at the rental agency provide virtually everything you’ll need there! It gave us the perfect home for our honeymoon, and we cannot recommend it enough!
