The open floor plan allows for privacy in the bedrooms at each end of the house and encourages people to gather in the center of the house or outside on the lanais (decks). So glad you enjoyed your stay on The Garden Island in our house. When we are at the house, we also love the two lanais and live outside on them most of the time. The trade winds on the lanais are so refreshing.

We keep a nice supply of beach toys for all ages of children from sand-playing toys for younger children to other toys for older children to ride the waves at the beach. Hanalei Bay is rated the No. 2 beach in all of Hawaii by the Hawaii magazine in 2024. We keep the kitchen pantry fully stocked for any cooking needs that you might want. We try to provide up-to-date appliances and cooking utensils so that you and friends and family can easily prepare meals at the house. When we are there, we dine outside listening to the sound of the surf and watch the palm trees sway in the breeze.. We also like to walk into Hanalei Town and treat ourselves to an ice cream cone at Pink’s or a Shave Ice. We hope to see you back here in 2025. Mahalo, The Owners

Thank you for submitting a review. The three bedrooms plus a living room and dining room and two lanais (called porches on the mainland) provide personal space as well as family space. You can check out the beach from the front lanai and be in the water in 5 minutes. We stock the kitchen to meet our needs when we are there and are pleased that you found everything you needed, as well. Mahalo, The Owners

The house can easily sleep 6 people and the lanai (patio) furniture has 6 chairs around a large outdoor table. Eating a meal outside and watching the ocean at Hanalei Bay is a unique experience. We, too, find that the days go by too fast between walking to and from Hanalei Bay and walking into Hanalei town for a quick snack or dinner. We hope that you found time to walk over to Hanalei Pier and look for turtles swimming under the pier. Hanalei Bay, which was just rated in March 2024 the 10th best beach in the United States by Lonely Planet, is the perfect location for a family vacation that will give you family memories for many years. Our family also stays in Hanalei Makai Hale when we are on Kauai so it is nice to know that you found all of the kitchen utensils, pantry supplies, beach equipment, etc very helpful.
