A relaxing break
We had a great time at Pear Tree Cottage as it was just perfect for our needs and the weather was really mild (mid Nov).
The cottage itself was clean and comfortable but the main reason we picked it was because we took the dog and the tiled floors, fenced sitting area outside and huge private garden meant that we didn't have to worry about him too much. With regard to it's position, it is just across the road from the white horse pub which serves meals (excellent choice) and allows dogs in the bar.
Obviously the walks around North Norfolk are absolutely suberb (Holkam, Wells etc) but Pear Tree is just 10 mins walk from huge expanses of empty beaches. Our new favourite was walking to the car park at the end of 'Beach Road' as stated 10 mins, and then walking down the beach to Old Hunstanton where there is a lovely little cafe (The Old Boathouse Cafe) which depending on where you walk, how many other dogs yours plays with can take 1 to 2 hours then after refreshment return. Tranquility on earth!!!!!
