The house consists of two separate apartments with fully equipped kitchens, and there is also some shared space in the basement. This way, it is ideal for two families, especially if they want to spend some time together. There is enough space around the house to play with a ball, etc., and the pool is wonderful. It is kept in perfect condition by the owner; you can relax in the water or just outside. The whole property is surrounded by olive groves, and the other houses are at least 100 meters away from it. The house is traditional, allowing you to experience local architecture from the inside. The one thing that could be improved is the heat resilience; there are no window shutters, and some parts of the walls are not thick enough to prevent the heat from coming in. Probably, this is only problematic during heat waves, as normally you can cool down the house by opening the windows at night.

Charming house and area, in the middle of the vineyards. The pool is the main asset of this property, it is really a great one! We were two families with small children and could « live » separately during the nights (2 apartments) while living together in the day. Very convenient not to disturb each other. Only improvement that we raised to the owner is the lack of a fridge on ground level but he is planning to arrange that shortly. Massimo is really a nice owner, here to help/assist when needed and he speaks very well French. Watch out for the mosquitos! In the yards with the pool nearby, we got quite a few bites!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour du 17/08 au 31/08 à La Gropina (4 adultes et 4 enfants). La maison est bien équipée, les espaces extérieurs bien entretenus et la piscine très agréable (11,5mx5,5m) Le site bénéficie d'un calme absolu tout en étant à quelques minutes du village de Loro Ciuffenna. Un grand merci à Massimo pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité à aider et répondre à nos attentes.

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour du 17/08 au 31/08 à La Gropina (4 adultes et 4 enfants). La maison est bien équipée, les espaces extérieurs bien entretenus et la piscine très agréable (11,5mx5,5m) Le site bénéficie d'un calme absolu tout en étant à quelques minutes du village de Loro Ciuffenna. Un grand merci à Massimo pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité à aider et répondre à nos attentes. The Villa and its grounds are excellent! The pool is amazing and so is Massimo who is always available if something is in Need. He truly takes care of the pool so that it is always impeccable!
