I Love This Place!

This property is exactly what i was looking for and what i envisioned. Lots of charm, character, and comfort. Host Laura was very thorough providing all the information necessary for a great stay. I have more trips scheduled and will book this property again.

The property was quite lovley had everything's you will need The only Thing I can say it was very cold in there, yes there is a fire place. if you Want I dont like the smell of fire in my clothes. the place is great and close to all convenience. Thank for a lovley stay

a lovely quirky bijou cottage

Deceptively spacious cottage, we loved the furnishings very country life. Almost French in style, we loved it! It was right in the town so near every where and garden sweet and quiet. one problem, the keys to the property are a night mare, unable to unlock front door so ended up using back doors for most of our stay. Even they are stiff and took several attempts to open or lock. In bedroom looking out of garden , only a very small window to open , quite a problem with the hot nights we experienced last week. Also could not turn oven on and on our final morning we discovered a switch in kitchen cupboard that turned on cooker /washing machine! However we did have the micro wave .

Wonderful, cosy stay in picturesque cottage

We had a delightful stay at this picturesque cottage. I couldn’t imagine a better location for wandering around all the fantastic eats and attractions of Arundel. We really enjoyed the charms of the house, like the beautiful beams and the unique log fire in the kitchen. Whilst we were there during storm Ciara, swiftly followed by storm Dennis, we felt warm, cosy and wouldn’t hesitate in returning. Everything worked as it should, everything was clearly explained and the bathroom and kitchen have all the mod cons, with an upmarket feel. There is plenty to do both in Arundel and the surrounding area, and we would highly recommend choosing to stay here. Jennifer & family

Nice cottage in centre of Arundel

Very nice cottage bang in the centre of the town close to all amenities. Rooms not as big and bright as the pictures would have you believe. Still, you can't beat the location. Watch out for front and back door, the locks are a bit iffy!

Fabulous place in the heart of Arundel.

This really was home from home. Spotlessly clean with everything you need to make your stay extremely comfortable. The master bed was huge and the bedding luxurious. Laura went out of her way to look after us and, having family close by, we will definitely be back. This really is a gem. Thanks Laura.

Hone from home - don’t look any further!

This is a beautiful, tranquil, quintessential Sussex cottage where you and your family will live, cook, rest and play as if you were in your own home. This is a lovely cottage and very cosy, you wouldn’t mind being rained in if it came to it. We relaxed in the garden and used the secret passageway to get to the local for a cheeky pint. The house is well insulated for winter, we used the lovely warm lounge room when we arrived early on a very wet and cold morning and warmed up straight away. A lovely short walk to bakeries, restaurants and Arundel’s main attractions and our 2 year old managed a walk to the river (slides and swings) if you don’t fancy dragging a pram or pushchair. An easy drive (whether you drive on the left or not) to market towns like Chichester and the beaches along the coast make this home central to a mixture of things to do for the family. This is one review I should not have written in fear that I won’t be able to book myself again!!! Don’t look any further if you are planning on staying in West Sussex. There will be very few homes that have considered everything and are as lovely and homely as Maltravers, Regards Mark

Great cottage in a superb location

The cottage has everything you could need and sits in a wonderful street close to town. There are many pubs and restaurants within a 5 minute walk and the amazing Arundel castle too!

Beautiful, spacious cottage

Beautiful cottage for a romantic weekend or a family holiday. Wonderful south facing garden and best of all a real open fire in the kitchen!
