Die Villa "La Lézardière" ist eine herrliche moderne und geräumige einstöckige Familienvilla in beeindruckender Lage mit fantastischem Blick auf die Bucht von "Pramousquier" und das berühmte "Cap Nègre". Von der Villa aus ist es ein einfacher, flacher Spaziergang zum schönen Sandstrand "Plage du Canadel" in Richtung Rayol oder in die andere Richtung nach Lavandou zum Sandstrand "Plage du Pramousquier". An beiden Stränden gibt es mehrere Bar-Restaurants und Beach-Clubs. Diese einzigartige Lage macht die Villa ideal für eine große Familie und bietet viele Möglichkeiten für alle.

Die Villa hat 5 geräumige Schlafzimmer mit Klima Anlage und neuen Betten. Zwei Hauptschlafzimmer haben ein eigenes Bad und kleine begehbare Schränke. Außerdem gibt es 2 zusätzliche separate Toiletten und 2 zusätzliche separate Bäder. Die Villa verfügt über eine geräumige Terrasse in der Mitte des Hauses, mit einem großen, langen Esstisch. Im Außenbereich gibt es mehrere Terrassen mit Sitzgelegenheiten und einen privaten Pool mit Liegestühlen. "Rayol Canadel sur mer" ist ein einzigartiger malerischer Küstenort mit schönen Buchten und Sandstränden in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Mit dem Fahrrad oder dem Auto kann man im Umkreis von 20 Minuten mehr als 10 Strände entdecken, und es gibt bekannte Radwege für alle Ansprüche.
Nur einen Katzensprung entfernt liegt das Dorf Rayol mit seinen berühmten Gärten Jardins du Rayol und seinem maritimen Naturschutzgebiet. Für einen unvergesslichen Tagesausflug ist der weltberühmte Nationalpark Les Iles D'Or ein Paradies und nur eine kurze Bootsfahrt von Le Lavandou entfernt. Nur 10 Minuten entfernt - am Strand von Cavalière - gibt es eine Segelschule für alle Niveaus und Fähigkeiten. Sie können auch Kajaks oder Katamarane mieten oder eine verrückte Fahrt auf einem Schlauchboot machen! Es gibt auch einen Tennisclub (mit einem Michelin-ausgezeichneten Restaurant - eines der bestgehüteten Geheimnisse in der Gegend).

We had a wonderful week at this lovely villa in the Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer area; one that our family will never forget. The view of the sunset over Cape Negre was stunning. The house was spacious, well furnished, with five bedrooms and multiple bathrooms. Our family (2 grandparents, four parents and four grandchildren ages 6-8) enjoyed hours in the lovely pool, preparing meals in the spacious and well provisioned kitchen, and eating in the various shaded outdoor dining areas. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was great as it was 36-38 degrees C during our week.We had a 10 minute walk east along the bike path to the beach at Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer. The water was clear and the beach was sandy. One could easily rent paddle boards There were two beach clubs at this beach, but plenty of space to put down our own towels and beach chairs. One night we ate dinner at the Tropicana Club, and the food was delicious. We also ordered tasty pizza from the Kasi- Kasi pizza truck parked on the walking path.After a 15 minute walk west there is a small grocery store, Proxi, there that sold delicious fresh bread which we visited daily.Marianne and Marcel are excellent property managers, and were very helpful. They provided some beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels to use at the local beach. At the house there are many fun pool toys and floats, a ping pong table, boules sets, badminton and beach volleyball.

La Lezardiere

This was our sixteenth villa on the Mediterranean coast and now absolutely at the top of our list. A delightful heated pool, toys provided, and a nice play area for the smaller children. A sheltered terrace where we had breakfast and a terrace that caught the evening sun. Plenty of room inside and a picture postcard view. We cycled to the village to get our baguettes and walked to the beach for a swim. And we know from experience that this location is really exceptional. We found the whole area very peasant, not as crowded and built- on as other parts of the coast. Everything we hoped for!

We have just returned after a fortnight at this wonderful villa. This was a family holiday, 10 of us in all over 3 generations including three children under 5. The accommodation worked really well for us. The pool was a great attraction for the children and as it was heated the adults didn’t get cold while supervising and holding little ones in the water for hours on end! It was also v reassuring to have a shutter style electric pool cover which we always closed when the pool was not in use - no worries about children falling in with nobody noticing. Another plus - there were several outside spaces to sit, eat or drink so we didn’t all have to be together all of the time - which I’m sure my son-in-law appreciated! The open plan kitchen, living and dining room was great as nobody was left out when preparing food or clearing up. There were plenty of pans, oven trays, cooking utensils etc along with enough plates, cutlery and glasses not to have to be washing up all the time. The bathroom facilities were perfect. A bathroom with a view to die for where the children could be bathed each evening and then shower rooms with the most simple and efficient Hans Grohe push button controls. Viviane, our local point of contact out there and who met us at the villa, was friendly, helpful and v efficient. As to location - this too was perfect for us. Easy to find, on a very quiet lane just off the main coastal road and enough on site parking behind the electric gate for our three cars. The real bonus is the path just below the house (which is a disused railway line, so flat) and used as a cycle track or for jogging and walking. This leads to a lovely beach in one direction and a very useful general stores in the other. It also takes you to some steps down to the rocks where we swam very happily on several occasions or rock pooled with the children. There is a permanent pizza van to the left along this track which has its own little sitting out area and we used this on a couple of occasions to buy take-away pizza which the children loved. The house is very close to the Mediterranean Gardens at Rayol and these are definitely worth a visit, beautifully natural. For a different type of outing there is St Tropez about a 40 min drive. We found Cavalière a good nearby beach - casual restaurants on the sand, friendly staff. Wind surfing hire etc. Husband and I cycled there, children went by car (5mins). Beautiful views from the villa so really no need to go anywhere!

Großzügiges Haus mit sehr guter Ausstattung

Das Haus befindet sich zwischen den Stränden von Canadel und Pramousquier, unterhalb der D599 Küstenstraße. Im Innern wurde viel Wert auf Funktionalität und Ausstattung gelegt. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll, die Bäder modern und hochwertig. Die offene Küche ist großzügig und modern, es fehlt an nichts. Im Außenbereich gibt es einen großen Pool (10x4,5 m), der schön angelegt ist. Echten Meerblick gibt es nur von der obersten Terrasse. Der zentrale Innenhof ist ein wunderbarer Aufenthaltsort mit reichlich Platz. Ideal fürs gemeinsame Essen in großer Runde. Die Betreuung durch Viviane vor Ort war charmant und kompetent (Sprachen: Französisch, Englisch und auch etwas Deutsch). Da wir die ersten Gäste der Saison 2021 waren, befanden sich Garten und Außenbereich noch im Winterschlaf. Hier wären der Gärtner und die Reinigungstruppe vor unserer Ankunft hilfreich gewesen. Das Haus ist gut gesichert und man fühlt sich geborgen. Die Straße, die oberhalb vorbeiführt ist bei entsprechendem Verkehr deutlich hörbar. Insgesamt ein komfortables Haus mit viel Platz für große Familien.

The ideal vacation home

We booked the house for a family holiday with 11 people, from 11 to 78 years old. The house has lots of space, with a large and well equipped open kitchen. 3 bathrooms and 4 toilets ensure nobody ever has to wait for anything. The swimming pool is lovely and there is enough space on the domain to seek out a quiet hiding place when needed. Not fancy, but cosy and well equipped. Just what we needed.

Wonderful Stay

This is wonderful very well equipped super spacious villa. Bright open views, large living space and tasteful interiors with plenty of outside space and a great pool. It’s a short stroll to the beaches abs a short drive over to the shops. We were two couples each with an under two year old. It was perfect for this set up but the villa itself could easily accommodate a much larger group. Viviane who helps with check in is a fabulous lady who makes the welcome very personal and welcoming and she was quickly on hand for the few questions we had. Highly recommended !

Fabulous villa for a family holiday

We have rented several villas in this area over 15 years of coming to Le Rayol Canadel and this was the nicest and, especially, the most welcoming and friendly. We had a week at Le Lezardiere with our four teenagers, four of their friends, and another family of four. Quite a handful but the owner and manager were all smiles throughout the entire process. The house and garden are beautiful and were very comfortable with 15 people staying. The villa is generously equipped with everything you need for cooking, swimming, etc. Even a few bikes in the garage which were much appreciated. There are different areas where people can be apart, but also room to be together for meals by moving a few chairs etc. There were a few technical difficulties but Viviane responded immediately and they were sorted out quickly. We loved our stay here with the one reservation that a week wasn't long enough. We will be back!

We are a family of 5 so over the years we've had children of all ages up to Grandma who is 86 - everyone loves coming to La Lézardière!
We live in London but travel far and wide - always coming back to Le Lézardière. It took us a long time to find this special house and we are just in love with our French home. The views, the location and hopping on the bikes to get everywhere mean our teenagers have some independence which they love - especially when we have a house full of their friends and we don't worry about the children (or grandma) walking to the beach by themselves. Everyone can have a glass of rosé too as there's no need to take the car everywhere!
