Un grand merci a vous, Jérôme et famille! Ça a été un plaisir pour nous aussi, vous recevoir. Horta Vermelha change beaucoup pendant tout l'année - les couleurs, les plantes, les oiseaux, les prairies, les arbres, etc... . À bientôt.

Now we have the refreshing recreation pool ready, with running clear waters, some frogs, salamanders and toads! (in english, below) Cara Rosangela, Muito obrigado pelas suas palavras simpáticas e muito boa crítica. Ficamos, acima de tudo, satisfeitos por saber que irá voltar e que ficou contente com a Horta Vermelha, vendo que é uma Hóspede especialmente atenta e exigente. Para esclarecer os demais, informamos que as ervas entre as árvores da Horta Vermelha podem por vezes estar "grandes". A aplicação de produtos químicos nas ervas é muito reduzida, havendo zonas onde não é aplicada, sequer. Faz-se uso do crescimento das ervas para atrair as aves e insectos para o mais próximo possível de um meio natural equilibrado, mais saudável para as árvores e tudo o resto (todos nós). Chegam várias alturas em que se cortam essas ervas com o tractor, ficando o espaço mais livre para brincadeiras e passeios na Horta Vermelha. Durante a estadia da Sra. Rosângela, ela mesmo teve oportunidade de ver as ervas "grandes" e depois "cortadinhas". A Horta Vermelha, contudo, tem outras zonas mais "limpas" de ervas, e até ajardinadas, para maior conforto dos Hóspedes. Sobre a cafeteira, presente em cada uma das Casas, colocamos a hipótese de que não estivesse num local vizível. Iremos resolver isso. Muito obrigado! Above all, we are very pleased in knowing that you will return and that Horta Vermelha has made yourself and your family happy. This is particularly important, knowing that you are a especially attentive and demading Guest. To inform all, we clarify that the weeds in the orchards of Horta Vermelha may in occasions be "long". The application of chemicals is reduced to a minimum. There are areas with no application at all. The aim is to make use of the weeds to atract the birds and all insects, making the system as close as possible to a natural equilibrium. This is healthier for the trees and all the rest (all of us). There comes times when those weeds are mowen with the tractor, making space more open of games and good walks in the farm. During Ms Rosangela's stay she saw things with "long" weeds and then "nicely cut" weeds. Horta Vermelha, anyhow, has other weed-clear areas, also garden-like, for best confort of the Guests. About the coffee maker, present in each of the Cottages, it may possibly have been out of sight for some reason. We will deal with this. Thanks very much! Sónia & João
