Thank you for your feedback and for noting the cleanliness of our cabin — we’re glad you found it well cared for. We do keep the décor simple and functional so our guests can focus on enjoying the lake and outdoor surroundings, but we understand that preferences vary, and we’ll keep your comments in mind as we continue making updates. Regarding the air conditioning, it is currently located in the living area, and we do provide fans to help circulate cool air into the bedrooms. We’ll be reviewing options for enhancing comfort in the sleeping areas as well. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we hope to welcome you back again with improvements that better suit your expectations.

The fire Pit is large enough to accommodate many people, and available to others in our Cabins, as described in our descriptions. Jim

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We recently rechecked our listing, and all of our photos are current. To help future guests, we’ll look at adding photos of the shared decks and firepit areas so it’s clear that these are open for use by everyone staying on the property. We truly appreciate your note about the cleanliness of the bedrooms and bathrooms—cleanliness is always our top priority. During your stay, I personally stopped by to check if everything was alright. You requested a larger grill, which I was happy to provide right away. The following day when you had trouble connecting to the WiFi, I came over to walk you through logging in and later checked back to be sure everything was working properly. As for the property description, our cabins are licensed under local ordinance as a motel in order to legally operate in the Village. While I’m not sure what you meant by “shabby,” I’d like to note that this is not reflective of the feedback we receive in nearly all of our reviews. We value your comments and will continue working hard to ensure every guest has a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
