Das Presbyterium von St. Columb und das Kutschenhaus wurden in den 1870er Jahren fĂŒr den Pfarrer von Inistioge erbaut. Das Kutscherhaus befindet sich auf dem GrundstĂŒck des EigentĂŒmers von ca. 3 Hektar. Das landschaftlich gestaltete GrundstĂŒck besteht aus einem Wassergarten, RasenflĂ€chen und einem rustikalen Pavillon in erhöhter Lage mit Blick auf den Fluss Nore. Die Liegenschaft befindet sich ca. 1/2 km vom Dorf Inistioge entfernt und bequem zu Fuß erreichbar.
Das Coach House besteht aus einer kombinierten KĂŒche mit Ess- und Wohnbereich und einem Holzofen sowie 2 Schlafzimmern. Das Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss verfĂŒgt ĂŒber 1 Doppelbett und ein eigenes Bad. Das Schlafzimmer im 1. Stock verfĂŒgt ĂŒber 1 Einzel- und 1 Doppelbett sowie ein Duschbad mit angrenzendem WC. Es gibt eine Ölzentralheizung mit Heizkörpern im gesamten GebĂ€ude. Die Unterkunft bietet bequem Platz fĂŒr bis zu 5 Personen. Ein Kinderbett und ein Hochstuhl stehen zur VerfĂŒgung.

Wonderful Cottage!! The pictures do not do the cottage justice. It is a beautiful cozy place. We stayed 3 nights and fell in love with the place. If I am back in the area I will definitely book this house again. There is a convenient EveryDay store that is a quick drive, or walk to town that carries all the basic stables you will need for a few nights. The Woodstock Arms pub is a must stop in town for a pint. Over all had a great stay.

Amazing home that, as said before in other reviews, is even better in person. LOVED the renovated stone barn, LOVED our hosts, LOVED the heated beds, LOVED the tub, LOVED the resident kitty that came to visit. Be aware, that you will be cozy if you know how to build and maintain a wood stove. Otherwise, this may not be the fall/winter destination for you. Not immediately close to many amenities (food/shopping) but not far either. (by U.S. standards)

Pictures do not do the coach house justice. This place is AMAZING!!! It is so magical! Loved the stone walls, the fireplace, everything about it!! Check-in was super easy. The house had everything we needed. Dishes and pots and pans were all great. We had a minor problem and Margaret was quick with her response and solved our user error problem. We visited the Woodstock gardens, jerpoint Abbey, kells priory, and jerpoint glass blowing studio. We would highly recommend all of them! The coach house was fantastic and we would definitely stay here again!!

Comfort and history

Margaret and Mark were so welcoming and we had a couple of lovely chats about the history of the Coach House and the restoration efforts. They were helpful with recommending sites to visit and things to do. The accommodations were so comfortable and very well-appointed. Just such a great place to relax and recharge. Rustic, beautiful, property with amazing hosts. Lovely old old coach house been remodeled into two bedroom two bathroom home with all amenities included. Close to all kinds of little town towns and close to bigger towns a short distance away. One of our best vacations yet.

The most charming cozy cottage!

The coach house is the coziest cottage with a gorgeous view of their forested property, especially from the lens of their “greenhouse foyer”. Walking distance the most beautiful little village of Inistioge where everyone was so hospitable and the views were breathtaking. The owners are entirely the most lovely people to chat with ever, and the Epitome of hospitality and kindness. I would absolutely book another stay with them, but for much longer next time.

Beautiful coach house with lots of history and charm!

Loved staying here! Mark and Fran were sweet hosts. Home was only 20 min. from New Ross which was a sweet little town. My only suggestion would be if they could store a bit more basic supplies (toilet paper, towels, maybe coffee and sugar) so that for a couple night stay we're not having to go out and shop for little things like that. Other than that it was completely gorgeous and enjoyable!!
