Genießen Sie meine restaurierten 1849 Scheune am Ende einer einsamen Straße. (Es ist ein 240-Morgen-Bauernhof). Dieses Anwesen ist seit vier Generationen in meiner Familie. Interessanter Hinweis, Homer, Ohio ist die Heimat der ersten Frau, die Victoria Woodhull 1878 kandidierte. Eigentlich ein Verwandter, sagt man mir. Schau dir ihre Geschichte an! anscheinend Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock, Schlafzimmer im zweiten Stock, Badezimmer im zweiten Stock mit Badewanne, Dusche und Sauna. Perfekt für College-Eltern Wochenenden @ Mount Vernon Nazarene, Denison, Kenyon oder Ohio State. 23 Minuten Fahrt zum Kenyon College - 15. 8 Meilen. Es ist 14 Minuten Fahrt nach Denison-14. 8 Meilen. 44 Minuten Fahrt nach Ohio State - 39. 3 Meilen. Es ist ungefähr. 45 Minuten zum Polaris Parkway, Anfang von Columbus, Mekka der Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. 40 Minuten nach Easton Town Center.(Andere Seite von Columbus). Etwa eine Stunde nach Amish Country.(Mount Hope) Ideal nur als Rückzugsort für die Woche oder ein Wochenende. Für mindestens neun Personen. Zwei im privaten Schlafzimmer (Königin) und zwei im privaten Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss.(Königin), viele zusätzliche Kissen von weich bis hart, groß und klein. Master mit privatem Zugang und Bad. Terrassentüren sorgen für schöne Außentöne und Brise! Neue zentrale Wärme und Luft in dieser Woche installiert. Ich habe Fensterelemente gelassen, wenn Sie eine lokale Kühlung bevorzugen. kann später entfernen, je nach Leistung der Zentrale! Küche voll ausgestattet. Granit-Arbeitsplatten, Mikrowelle, Herd, Geschirrspüler, Kühlschrank. Umkehrosmose-Walter-Filtersystem in der Küche. Vier Bäder (Badewanne im Master funktioniert nicht) Zentralheizung mit Propanheizung und Kühlung im Februar. 2019. Pelletofen mit 50.000 BTU im Hauptwohnbereich und Kaminofen. Kabel und Internet. Direkte TV-Boxen im Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss. Der Fernseher im Obergeschoss ist nur für Filme und lokale Antennenfernseher. Wenn Sie unbegrenzt Daten auf Ihrem Telefon haben, können Sie Ihren mobilen Hotspot zum Streamen verwenden. Hughes Internet erlaubt kein Streaming! Wir sind zu weit weg !!!Drittes Badezimmer in mudroom mit separatem Zugang für schlammige Wanderer. Dies ist eine originelle Scheune. Bitte beachten Sie: dies ist eine tatsächlich umgebaute Scheune! Es ist gut Wasser. Es gibt einen Luftreiniger am Spülbecken und ein neu installiertes Gesamthaus-RO-System, aber wir bringen Wasser zum Trinken.
Es wird für Fehler bi jährlich behandelt, aber es kann sehr wohl einige. Dies ist eine originelle Scheune aus den 1800er Jahren. Es gibt Hunde, Hähne, Kühe und Hühner auf dem Weg! Es gibt Feuchtgebiete mit Geflügel und viel Truthahn und Rehe. KEIN JAGEN!!!!Da ist ein
neuer Webergrill mit vier Brennern auf dem Deck, sowie ein Holzkohlegrill. Feuerstelle auch draußen. Danke fürs schauen!

A lovely stay!

We had a great visit at this property! It was a convenient location for us, as we have family in the surrounding area. The barn is spacious but with a cozy feel and all the renovations they have done are impressive. It is stocked with everything you could want for your stay and then some. We will gladly return again!

We stayed at the barn for multiple nights and very much enjoyed it! We had a lot of space in the yard to hang out. Overall we would recommend staying at the barn!

Great stay for Family Weekend

What a great property! Our family enjoyed our stay while visiting Kenyon College. It's just a short drive to Gambier from the Barn. The property is clean and comfortable with plenty of room for all of us. We love the it is pet friendly. Highly recommend.

WOW! What an absolutely gorgeous place! How Leslie had the vision to makeover this old barn is beyond me! The history of this barn/turned into a beauuuuutiful home is super cool!! We felt like we had walked on to the set of Yellowstone! Located in the middle of cornfields and cattle, there is PLENTY of room for everyone, so cozy, warm, welcoming! A GREAT LOFT with a catwalk to the game room, great porches and fire pit outside. Best part was the dream kitchen in which to open a bottle of wine, cook dinner for some hungry equestrians, and linger over coffee (decaf) to unwind. A perfect place to come “home” to after a full day of competition at Bravehorse (only a 20 minute drive). We will definitely book this beautiful barn the next show!!! I almost hate to tell everyone about it because I’d secretly want to keep it to myself! lol! But truly… you HAVE to check this treasure out! And Leslie is my favorite host of all time.

Beautiful updated barn in a quiet country location.

This past weekend our crew of 7 moms stayed at "The Barn" for our college reunion. The owner was gracious and provided us with everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. There were also fresh eggs from the neighbors! We had a wonderful time and if you are looking for a peaceful weekend away, this is the place to stay.

Country Getaway

Enjoyed the unique renovated barn setting. Perfect for our weekend family wedding nearby. Could have used better outside furniture on porch. A little too much of the owners stuff in the house. The coffee machine was nice and very cozy.

I am so sorry you were not happy with the outside furniture. I have Adirondak chairs from Frontgate, recliners, and outside plastic chairs for the fire pit. You are right, the barn has lots of eclectic stuff specifically related to the history of the barn. It's a fine line between portraying the barn's history and too much stuff! Thanks for the suggestions, I'll take it to heart!

Restored Barn that lives up to Listing

Leslie was super helpful and accommodating during and after our rental. Large open family room area and kitchen with a modern take. A large loft area with sleeping and tv room is available but we never left the living room couch to enjoy it. The property is very cool and is definitely distinct from the neighbors, so it was very easy to locate from the direction provided. A nice place to enjoy a relaxing weekend.

Living in the Barn

Awesome property! Very unique and definitely not a "cookie cutter" stay. Leslie was very attentive to every need. She left personal notes and a welcome gift. She also checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was fine. Awesome area to explore (mounds, winery, Granville, Heath, Alligator Mound,). Was a nice place to get away. We had fun visiting our kiddos at Denison. Looking forward to returning...maybe graduation weekend. Very memorable stay.

Decided to convert an old barn into a home. it is a romantic, quiet beautiful getaway. I hope you enjoy the get away as much as I do. We do use this, so please treat this as you would your own home! It is more a home than a motel! When we did the renovation, we saved old barn siding from the hayloft and chicken area. We sealed these, and you can see faint calculations and dates on them keeping track of their egg? sales of the day!!!

A location that provides access to charming college communities and the city of Columbus while living in an area full of wildlife, solitude, and sounds of nature surrounding you. at the end of a two-mile gravel road sits an old barn waiting to excite you!Essentially, you are staying in an experience in a secluded part of Ohio. Having said that, you are within an hour's drive of exploring Amish lifestyles, food, and calm simplicity or choose to spend your day in the bustle of Ohio's Capital. Ohio State offers many exciting events. or, simply explore the immediate area, and relax in the barns' welcoming quiet, privacy, and beauty while exploring immediate area. All the small liberal arts colleges that surround it and their restaurants, breweries, and charming parks. Who knows what fair Utica, New Albany, and Johnstown will have? Intel is now having weekend events for the public, as well! Enjoy!

Watch deer and listen to coyotes sitting on the deck grilling or simply having a fire. The stars are exceptional in this out-of-the-way 2-mile gravel road, country setting. There is a small farm across the lane and if they are around, ask to see the cows, the chickens might be over at your place! You still have easy access to Gambier(Kenyon College)Granville (Denison College), Ohio.35-55 minutes gets you to COLUMBUS, OHIO. Intel will be ten minutes away. Drive 20 minutes to Gambier or Granville for charming restaurants. explore both small-town charm and big-city activity! I use a walker; so seats, grab bars in downstairs bathrooms, and first-floor bedrooms are musts after back surgery. Enjoy the provided robes for a relaxing sauna. Shampoos, lotions, and other amenities are provided if you find you've forgotten something!

35-55 minutes gets you to COLUMBUS, OHIO. It is a 45-minute drive to Nationwide Arena, 53 minutes to Ohio State, and Horseshoe. The fifty-minute drive brings you to the campus.
Drive an hour to Millersburg, Ohio, and witness the world of the Amish. Many hand-crafted furniture and special Amish delights await you.
