Spectacular- private, quiet and walk to beach

The apartment is amazing, every amenity included and extremely clean. Plenty of room to relax and spread out for a family of four. Our kids loved the pool and being able to walk to the beach.

Stunning flat. Very high quality construction and fitments. Very private, plenty of high quality loungers, secure, comfortable interior, everything you could reasonably require in the kitchen, large comfortable beds. Brilliant wifi, running in excess of 350mbps when I tested it. No complaints and would recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable and leisurely break.

Excellent place!

Property was awesome! Spacious & clean, easy to get to and located close to a fantastic beach. The host was very responsive to our questions and shopping nearby, allowing us to stock up quickly. Was tough to leave and I would recommend it to anyone!

Modern, large and with ocean view

Very nice and well furnished appartement with spacious rooms. Very quiet surroundings with a beautiful garden and a big pool and always enough place, shadow and sunbeds. I loved the ocean view and the proximity to the beach (5 minutes walk down the steps).

Beautiful views and quiet just outside of city center

The place was really pretty and comfortable. Spotless on our arrival. Very good instructions on everything… appliances, umbrellas etc even had left over ice cream in freezer from owners visit! Enough closet space to move in for at least a month! Easy walking distance to beach with 2 wonderful restaurants. We enjoyed Lagos and the surrounding areas as well

Fantastic appartment

This is our fourth stay at this appartment and it was as good as ever. Really clean, perfect position and lovely people to deal with. The area has two great restaurants and a local bus into the centre of Lagos which is just a very short journey. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone and we will be there again in 2020.

Relaxing stay!

Marcelle’s place was peaceful and a short walk (7 mins) to the beach. Couple of beach restaurants close by, but we would mainly Uber into Lagos for dinners. Uber was easy to access and it was only a 6 min drive into Lagos. If you’re looking for a relaxing location with easy access to the beach and Lagos, would highly recommend Marcelle’s place! Plenty of room for our family of 5 and a beautiful view from the balcony!

Wonderful

This exceeded all of our expectations - the view was spectacular and the apartment was perfect for our family; it is in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. The pool area was wonderful and never busy. It is a short walk to the beach and you can easily get an Uber into Lagos. Would highly recommend.

Family holiday

We were lucky to have a car here as place remote. Kids were sad it was do quiet. Apartment was very clean, mod and spacious. Beds were not comfy throughout. But every effort was made to our extra needs.

We stayed for 9 nights at the end of July, I have been to the Algarve on several occasions in the last 30 years but this was my first time visiting Lagos. I have to say it’s my new favourite place to this date. The apartment was spacious well equipped and spotlessly clean.And we loved the local area. Lagos has something for everyone beautiful beaches and caves,lovely restaurants and a vibrant and interesting town, I read some reviews beforehand saying the location was a bit quiet,but tbh the fact that the property was out of the main town was perfect for us and meant we had the best of both, A quiet and beautiful apartment to enjoy lazy days by the pool and then the option to go into town for an evening out and meal. We loved this place and will definitely come back

We absolutely loved our stay in Porto de Mos. The condo was perfect for our family of four. Two adults and children (aged 9 and 11). The condo is equipped with everything needed for your stay. The two balconies were a fantastic to sit outside and enjoy a meal or simply the view. The pool was always a perfect way to end our beach days. Porto de Mos beach is quite stunning. We did visit a few other beaches in the area but really enjoyed ours. Be sure to venture out on the right end and give yourself a natural clay treatment... The two beach restaurants (O Antonio and Campi Mar) makes for awesome beach front dining. We recommend that you go for a sail boat excursion and visit the spectacular caves. Two amazing local restaurants we enjoyed in Lagos were Casa Chico Zé and Tasca Da Lota. Wonderful grilled fish! A week filled with blue skies, awesome food, wonderful views and creating memories we will never forget. Would love to come back ! Thank you Marcelle

Holiday in Lagos

Beautiful accommodation and only 5 minutes walk to a lovely beach with two friendly restaurants situated on it... The villa was very clean and spacious. It has everything you would need already in it. We were greeted by Dina, who showed us around and made sure we settled before she left, even though we arrived late in the evening. The pool area was cleaned each day, and the plants were tendered to also. It was spotless. We enjoyed the odd day just relaxing by the apartment. The other days we went down to the beach, which has easy access via some steps at the side of the villa. There are 2 restaurants on either side, but as a personal preference, we liked CampiMar, with lovely friendly staff, good cocktails and gorgeous food. (A must try for meat eaters, the Beef Loin Portuguese style). We enjoyed coffee and breakfast here each morning. There is a bus stop at the beach by CamiMar for the bus that takes you into Lagos town centre, we didn't take the bus, but we were told it is about 1.20 for a returned ticket. In the evenings we took a taxi from the villa to the town (6 – 7 Euros), where there are plenty of restaurants and bars for you enjoy. We planned for our holiday to be all about relaxing and time away from our hectic lives, and I can say, this holiday was all that we wished for, and we are hoping to go back with our children next year, who I know will also love it!

Family (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed at the apartment for 3 nights - plenty of space for everyone! Kept in touch with the property manager all along, who ended up escorting us the last 1/2 mile to the apartment as our directions were slightly off! That was great! The location is nice - in a very quiet suburb. Short 10min walk down to the beach (20mins back up the hill!). Although the beach is nearby and the complex has a pool, the water in both is very cold. Not ideal for swimming. For downtown, which is where all the cafes, restaurants, etc are, it's a 5-7mins drive. So you definitely need a car! TV had english channels - which was a plus! Last, and this is no fault of the apartment or owners as they advertised accurately - but I just wish the bathroom and kitchen had some of the basic amenities provided - like bathing soap, shampoo/conditioner, cooking oil, salt, pepper, sugar, etc - we arrived a little late and were tired, but then had to go find the local grocery store to get these basics before we could even shower. So plan accordingly - a supermarket stop before arrival should be part of the reminder before arrival. Once we had it all stocked up, it was smooth sailing - meals on the balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean were priceless! Overall we had a great time in Lagos and the apartment worked out great!

Many thanks for your review. I'm glad you loved the views and we're comfortable. I will certainly take on board your comments regarding condiments. These are usually there in the cupboards however due to having not been there myself during covid we had not replenished. Noted. Thank you for staying. Enjoy the rest of your summer.

Eine ausgesprochen hochwertig eingerichtete Unterkunft mit wunderschönem Blick zur Bucht. Der Pool ist ebenfalls sehr gepflegt und ausgesprochen schön bepflanzt. Der weitläufige Strand in wenigen Minuten bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Restaurants am Strand, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der unmittelbaren Nähe (Auto). Innenstadt auch in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Ausflüge an der Westküste von dort aus auch sehr gut möglich. Absolut empfehlenswert!

My husband, two daughters & myself continue to enjoy wonderful holidays at our apartment, for so many reasons. The view from our balcony is so relaxing and beautiful, with the beach only a 5 minute walk from our door. We are surrounded by an amazing choice of restaurants and have become used to eating out every night, sometimes at the high quality restaurants on the beach and other times wandering into the vibrant and welcoming town of Lagos, only a 5 minute drive away.
In the past we brought the girls here during the Easter Break to provide them with a more relaxing environment for their exam revision which worked well for years, and during our stays we enjoy days out at the many stunning towns all around, beautiful walks, and various visitor attractions. We look forward to many more wonderful family holidays.

We love this property as it is in an ideal location that is relaxing, beautiful and caters for all ages. It has it's own pool in pretty gardens if you want to stay home & relax, and a large balcony with a sea view where you can eat day or night. It's a 5 minute walk from a stunning beach, which during the summer provides water sports and activities. It's a 5 minute drive from the main beautiful and vibrant town of Lagos, a delight day or evening, with a varied range of shops and something going on for all ages. You will certainly never run out of excellent choices for somewhere to eat. It is near 2 first class golf courses, fantastic restaurants, great water parks, the superb Zoomarine and many stunning local towns.

After 10 years we still love going there and have many places still to discover.

This property is built, decorated and furnished to the very highest standard and will provide you with everything you need for a wonderful holiday. If you wish to stay in to eat there is a fully equipped kitchen, the balcony overlooks the sea and the pool, gets the sun all day and is large enough to eat out on. If you prefer to eat inside in the cool, there is a large dining table inside. The bedrooms have a huge amount of wardrobe space with very comfortable beds and there is a Jacuzzi bath with overhead shower as well as a separate power shower room.
For us it is a home from home and we hope you will also feel very at home there with everything you need around you. There is a choice of excellent supermarkets nearby and we have left an information file listing various local attractions as well as our favourite restaurant recommendations
