Unsere Wohnung mit zwei Schlafzimmern im Erdgeschoss wurde kürzlich komplett renoviert. Es hat einen atemberaubenden Panoramablick auf das Meer, einen privaten Garten, Parkplätze und ist nur wenige Gehminuten von Dalkey Dorf, der Dart-Bahnhof und spektakuläre Küstenwanderwege.

Traumhafter Blick in der Nähe alles was man braucht

Wegbeschreibung Check genau beschrieben. Kommunikation schnell sehr freundlich und Entgegenkommend. Parkplatz für l Kleines Auto direkt an der Wohnung. Alles da was man benötigt ein echtes Platzwunder. Coach sehr bequem. Betten prima. Ca 30 min ins Zentrum von Dublin. Die Gegend ist sehr schön von den Möglichkeiten bis hin zu den Geschäften. Vielen herzlichen Dank die Wohnung und vorallem der Blick und Sonnenaufgang sind unvergessen. Herzlichen Dank hoffentlich bis bald.

Great view in a quiet area

We had a wonderful week in the apartment. The view in the morning over the Dublin Bay is spectacular. Great place to have breakfast outside in the garden. The transfer to Dublin is very easy with the DART and also the connection southbound is very good, as well. We would definitely come back.

Lovely Apartment in beautiful surroundings

We loved our stay in this beautiful Dalkey apartment. Though small it is big enough for 3-4 people and equipped very efficiently and thoughtfully. The location is stunnimg and so are the views from the terrace. We would come back any time.

Unsere beste Ferienwohnung bisher

Die Ferienwohnung ist in jeder Hinsicht zu empfehlen: voll ausgestattet, schön eingerichtet, mit tollem Blick aufs Meer, hübscher Terrasse. Dazu kommt die Umgebung, Dalkey und Killiney in nächster Nähe. Die beiden Orte werden als die schönsten an der Ostküste betrachtet und das haben wir auch so gesehen.

Wunderschön

This place is a gem. The apartment ist just marvelous. Very tidy and spacious and has the most wonderful view of Dublin bay. It’s so peaceful and the DART train is only 10 minutes walk and in 30 minutes you’re in Dublin’s city center. Anne is a brilliant host and everything worked out perfectly.

Einfach traumhaft.

Auf der Terasse man einen genialen Blick aufs Meer. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Wohnung liegt in einem ruhigen Ort und der Weg ans Meer ist auch nicht weit. Das Städtchen Dalkey ist ein schönes kleines Städtchen. Die Nähe zu Dublin ist mit der Dart-Bahn einfach zu erreichen. Wenn wir wieder mal in Irland Urlaub machen, werden wir wieder diese traumhafte Wohnung buchen.

We found this property simply amazing. Location was brilliant and check in process was easy. Instructions from Anne were clear and easy to follow. The view was great and the weather played its part. Accessibility to the DART station was a 8 min walk and a 10 min stroll took us to the village high street. 20 minute DART journey and you in the heart of Dublin.

Beautiful place!

The property was wonderfully appointed and the communication with the owner was quick, frequent and responsive. The village is so quaint and nearby on foot, and it is an easy stroll to the train (Dart) for a 35 minute ride to downtown. The views from the unit are stunning and the outdoor area is gorgeous. The neighbourhood is so safe and quiet. Lovely evening strolls to the sea. I would recommend to anyone!

Idyllic spot by the seaside

Wow, we loved being able to call this place home as a base for our stay in Ireland. We're so glad we found it as there appeared to be limited accommodation options in Dublin city itself over St Patrick's Day. A cosy ground level apartment with stunning views of the sea, 10mins walk to the Dalkey train station. We also had a rental car for road trips so appreciated the free parking spot. Anne is an excellent host and was very communicative before, during and after our stay, with superb info for the house and the area. The kitchen is very well stocked and we appreciated all the little touches including coffee pods and dishwasher tablets and a starter log for the fire, which was lovely in the evenings. A perfect stay by the seaside, thank you Anne.

Amazing!!!

Check in was easy and Anne was very responsive. Views are beautiful and property was very clean and tastefully upgraded. Have never used a nespresso machine before. As soon as we got back to the United States that was our first purchase! Short walk into town and to get to the train. Train took about 35-40 minutes to get into Dublin proper. We visited the Dalkey Heritage Center and really enjoyed our experience. While you can’t get to the beach in town, there is a beautiful overlook! Woke up to beautiful views, great coffee, and a beautiful fluffy cat outside the sliding door. Highly recommend this property for any occasion.

Spectacular views and location.

We stayed for nearly two weeks over Christmas and had a wonderful time. The accomodation is cosy and very comfortable with lovely lounges and comfy beds. Although cosy, the view through the sliding glass doors gave us a sense of great expanse whilst being very private and warm.The kitchen and bathroom were very adequate and access to the unit was easy. We strolled into the village frequently taking us approx 8min where we found great coffee, excellent food options and buzzing pubs. The owner communicated very well offering easy instructions. Totally recommend this for a old Dublin Bay experience.

Fantastic week in beautiful Dalkey

We arrived early after our transatlantic flight and drove over to Dalkey with an early checkin. It was still dark so we took a rest before starting our adventure. Beautifully located on Vico Roc our apartment view of Dublin bay was stunning. Went for great hikes in the Dublin and Wicklow mountains- then on to Dublin City where we saw the book of Kells, Kilmainham goal and the Guinness storehouse. Returning each night to our little haven in Dalkey for a nice meal in one of the great restaurants and a drink with the locals. No trip to Ireland is complete without a trip to Johnnie Foxes just a couple of miles up from where I grew up in Kilternan.. Would love to come back and see more soon.

Vacation in Ireland

Very nice and quaint unit! Located in a very cute town of Dalkey. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around this tiny town. Beautiful view of bay. 10 min walk to the Dart train station, but if you are walking be aware there is significant grade to reach the unit. Very nice experience and unit was well cared for! If you are American, it takes some getting used to the different switches and other electrical processes to switch things on for use. But, we were able to figure everything out without issues.

Great view, Great apartment outside of Dublin

I would say… The place was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked. The view was spectacular, in a great neighborhood, at the top of a pretty big hill. It’s not very close to downtown Dublin. And the trains don’t run 24 hours a day. Ended up having to rent a car. If you want a beautiful quiet place just outside of Dublin we highly recommend this place.

A Perfect Property

It is a lovely apartment with magnificent views. It is in a great location for dining, walking and public transport. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well appointed. We would highly recommend it, and would definitely stay there again.

Twice in a month? I must have liked it.

I stayed at this property in June and returned with my wife in July. It's a small, well-equipped apartment with an incomparable view of Dalkey and the Irish Sea. It's a far remove from the hustle-bustle of Dublin, but a short trip on the DART. It's an ideal place for a week stay for a couple. P.S. While it's close to the station and the center of town, it's a bit of a climb for those with out a car. We acclimated quickly though.
